It is about 5 km from town of Kotagiri on a scenic route. The villa is in gated community with 24/7 security, so safety is not a concern. The big lawn and a gazebo provides ample space to enjoy outdoor activities in lush green surrounding. We will definitely love to return to this place for a longer stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at Simple’s property in Coonoor. We visited to celebrate a special birthday and an anniversary and it was great! Simple and the staff were incredibly responsive, attending to our needs promptly and ensuring our stay was comfortable The location is truly breathtaking—private, serene, and surrounded by stunning views! The room was beautifully designed, providing a perfect blend of aesthetics and cosiness The large windows with valley views were the highlight of the room, allowing us to immerse ourselves in nature fully. The on-site treehouse was a delightful highlight, offering a view of the waterfall and the soothing sound of cascading water. Early mornings were divine, with the gentle mist and serene atmosphere creating the perfect start to each day. We left with hearts full of joy and gratitude, and we wish Simple all the best in continuing to offer such a great experience to future guests. We are already looking forward to coming back again!

such a great place to plan your stay at ooty. yes, it's a bit away from ooty centre, but worthwhile. We had a great time there, the food was also spot on. we will definitely recommend the property to our friends and colleagues. If you are looking for a good, spacious stay for a large group (10-15) and a bit away from the traffic of ooty centre, go for it. Mini bar, wifi, Tv, bonfire, cool staffs NB: don't miss the sunrise from the balcony.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage with a group of 11, including two elderly members and five kids. Honestly, we didn’t even feel like going out for sightseeing, the cottage itself was more than enough to enjoy and unwind. A big shoutout to Stephen Uncle and his son Vishal for their outstanding hospitality. They were always available whenever we needed anything and made us feel completely at home. The campfire and delicious barbecue they arranged turned into a fun, unforgettable night for everyone. The kitchen was another big plus fully equipped with utensils, cookware, and even basic spices, which made cooking for a large group easy and comfortable. I’ve always preferred staying in Airbnb cottages over hotels or resorts, especially when traveling with kids, and this place reaffirmed that choice. Even though the listing says entire cottage, this actually was an bedroom with attached bath from the main property (where the host is staying) that has a door attached between the two (was locked though). That was slightly disappointing. The balcony/sit-out has the sofa and a small dining table which is where the entrance is. Regardless, enjoyed the stay and the food prepared by the staff was good.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at one of the best Airbnb’s. From the moment we arrived, Murali, our host, welcomed us with his amazing personality. He was easy to communicate and made us feel right at home. His cheerful nature set the perfect tone for our stay. The villa itself is beautiful and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The personal touches throughout the home made it cozy and inviting. It is surrounded by a beautiful valley with tea estates and farmlands. There was also an ample lawn space for our four legged baby to run around without worrying about his safety as the property felt very secure with electric fencing, allowing us to relax and enjoy. A special mention goes to Priya, the cook, who prepared the most delicious meals. She was not only an incredible cook but also a lovely lady who made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, we had an amazing time at Serenity Homestay and we can’t recommend it highly enough!

It is a full bungalow, privately made available for you. 1. It was easy to reach. Only a few hundred meters from the wellington main road. 2. The whole property was kept clean and tidy 3. The provided extra beds 4. The kitchen was free for us to use. Had a gas stove, toaster, oven and water filter. 5. There was hot water available in the bathrooms and even in kitchen. 6. Swiggy or zomato can deliver to food you. And there are plates, spoons, etc 7. Have a good garden around the property with a variety of flowers. 8. They provided a facility for the driver to stay in the same property. That was helpful for us. 9. Conooor town, Sims Park, highfield tea factory, all was easily reachable from here. Host Keeth is very supportive and listening.

We stayed at this Airbnb in Ooty for just one night as part of a family retreat (9 in total), and it turned out to be a lovely experience. The property is conveniently located very close to town, yet it offers a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. The highlight of our stay was the warm hospitality. Martin, who manages the property, was incredibly calm, helpful, and reassuring—especially when we spotted a bison nearby! He quickly put us at ease and assured us the area was safe. Simon, the property owner, also went out of his way to accommodate our two drivers, even arranging fresh bedding for them, which we really appreciated. In fact, we specifically chose this property because it offered driver accommodation—something essential in Ooty’s chilly weather. We all enjoyed having our own space and time to relax, and overall, the stay was very comfortable. That said, food service was a bit delayed, and the kitchen could have been cleaned up better after meal preparations.

We were 8 adults, 1 infant & 2 cats. The property is perfect for a large group as it has ample space both inside & outside. The hospitality was impeccable. The food, even better! it was so good that we ended up having breakfast & dinner for 2 days from Sunshine itself. Although Venkat doesn't stay in the property, he was extremely helpful till the day we checked out. Must visit if you are looking for a pleasant stay with family/friends.

The place is awesome exactly as shown in the pics. It’s not the place which made our stay amazing, it was the care taker Sivadas who made it memorable. Shivadas is one awesome proactive care taker available 24/7 for any help. Shivadas and wife Lata have excellent culinary skills you don’t have to find any restaurant for any food. From mutton to dosa everything was finger lickingly tasty. This will be our go to place in Ooty. Thank you Nisha and team!!

Shunyata is a lovely place. You could spend the whole day watching the skies, the tea gardens and the valley below. There’s a picture perfect Toda village nearby, a short drive up the hill. The house is comfortable and the caretakers helpful. We enjoyed the place. Our dogs are an integral part of our holidays and enjoy exploring new places. They loved the garden and the house. However, we had to watch out for the edge of the garden, which has a net over a steep drop. Also, as we interacted with locals we realised that leopard sightings are common and there are instances of missing dogs. So please keep your dogs on leash while walking outdoors, and indoors after dark. We were cautious when we understood, and didn’t leave them unsupervised in the garden.

We stayed at Nirupama's place for a few days with my extended family of 7. While the property is close to Ooty town, it is quite tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ooty. The property itself is very beautiful and spacious and we enjoyed spending time in the garden and the common area. Food was amazing and we were well taken care by Murugan, Kumar and the team. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

The location was ideal- 1 minute walk to Sims Park and close to restaurants and cafes that we frequent. The caretaker Mr.Ganesan was very helpful and attentive. The dogs, especially Jack, were great company! We look forward to visiting again!
