Superb semi detached cottage with two bedrooms, a large garden & private parking just over 2 miles from Cartmel & Newby Bridge at the South end of Lake Windermere. This property is a perfect location in Windermere. Central between centre of Bowness and Windermere, with the main bars/pubs/cafes are 15 minute walk away. Andrew was a fantastic host and the property was exactly how described online. Anything we required, Andrew was quick to respond and provided great information of the local area. Would highly recommend this property and would hopefully be able to stay in the future.

We had the most gorgeous stay at the hut! From the moment we arrived Victoria was a wonderful and friendly host, she shows us to the accommodation and made sure that we felt settled and happy! The hut was so cosy but bigger than we expected, and very spacious! It was clean and pristine from top to bottom and the bed was super duper comfy! We really appreciated the snacks, drinks and treats left for us to enjoy! The hut felt very private and the gardens that it’s located in were beautiful. It’s a short walk to town and we adored our stay here, and will definitely be returning! Thank you so much Victoria 🥰

I booked this for my partners birthday weekend away and we came with our dog for 2 nights at the end of Mar. Ellie was a great host, she was quick and easy to communicate with and made sure we all felt welcome and even decorated the lodge for my partners bday. We had a wonderful time, the lodge was well equipped and cosy, the hot tub was perfect especially at night and the area was very peaceful with some stunning views so all in all just what we needed. We really enjoyed our time here and my partner loved it for her birthday weekend away - we would be looking to come back in the future. I would highly recommend this lodge for anyone who is looking to book. P.s we decided to tackle Scafell pike which was around 25mins away - do not recommend doing on a wet and windy day as I thought i was going to die

Richard’s house is beautiful and gave myself and my family all we needed for our stay. The location for us was the best part of the home, incredibly situated to all the local amenities, whilst the home remained peaceful once inside. The check in was easy and Richard and his team were incredibly proactive with communication, everything was passed on before I even had time to think about it. Would highly recommend.

Not only was the property great, Alison was a superb host! Very informative and went above and beyond to help us when we needed recommendations. The house is a great size, very homely and in a nice location. The drive out front is a good size. We managed to fit 4 cars, two being large! The fireplace in the living room is a great touch with complimentary wood too. The heated floor in the conservatory is lovely! We had a great stay here, would highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning place to stay! We enjoyed a family break of quiet and relaxation snuggled in front of the log burner while the wind howled across the beautiful dales outside. We did venture out to explore the gorgeous scenery on our doorstep, having fun finding the lovely waterfalls and woods. It’s probably the quietest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at, yet the amenities of Ingleton village are only a short drive down the hill. Jamie was an excellent host. We’d love to return in the Spring/Summer (Autumn and Winter again too!) for a different experience, when I expect the skies are starry and the sunsets amazing. Thanks for sharing this gem, we loved it!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was exactly as described and matched the photos perfectly. It’s beautifully designed and decorated, with a layout that worked really well for our family holiday. The shared spaces were ideal for socialising, and everything felt thoughtfully arranged. The bedrooms had plenty of storage, and the beds were super comfortable. Bathrooms were spotless, and the showers were excellent. We especially enjoyed the patio area — great for relaxing — and there was more than enough parking space for three cars. The location was ideal too, with both Windermere and Bowness within easy walking distance. Highly recommend!
