Vacation rentals with beach access in Bowness-on-Windermere

A lovely flat, in a great location for the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. We particularly liked the balcony and as the weather was kind to us, we were able to make the most of it. 😎. A parking space around the back of the property was an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay. Morecombe is a hidden gem!

We had an issue accessing our previous air BnB that we had booked. I found this place and contacted the host Trevor to explain our situation and to ask if he could help. His place wasn’t quite ready for guests but he went round there and had it ready for us within an hour. Really went above and beyond to ensure that we weren’t left stranded. Very friendly service and a lovely find, the accommodation was perfect. Excellent service. We are very grateful that we found a great last minute booking with a lovely host. Thank you Trevor

Emma was a great host, the location was great and surrounding was beautiful. Excellent location for a walk on promenade. Easy to get to Lancaster and the lakes from bus stop outside.

A beautiful, relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Very well equipped and homely. The kitchen is great and had everything we needed. Fantastic views of the sea. Village was lovely and local area was great to explore.

The house was a great place from which to explore the surrounding towns and villages. Ulverston is a lovely little town to visit and a short drive away. Anthony was very helpful and accurate on his description of Askam. We settled in on the evenings and lit the cozy log burner. Anthony was very responsive and helpful both before and during our stay.

Great cottage and enjoyed staying here if only for one night. Well furnished, nicely decorated, and had everything needed. Thank you Lindsay.

We had the most amazing stay in Silverdale! The beach is just a few minutes walk away and we were so excited to see a seal! Such a wonderful experience. We ate at the pub next door one night and the food was fantastic. The kitchen inside the cottage had everything we needed to prepare meals as well. It’s so spacious in the cottage and we spent a very lovely, relaxing few days here. We could have happily stayed longer and would certainly come back. Highly recommend for a peaceful break with plenty to do in the area.

This is an absolutely wonderful little house, in beautiful condition. Clean, comfortable and homely, it even has plentiful toys, games and books which our 4yo was delighted by. It's within an easy walk of Morecambe prom, Morecambe town centre, Happy Mount Park, and a fish and chip shop. We would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to return one day soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What a beautiful cottage ❤️, pictures didn't do it justice, so much bigger than it looked and everything was so hi spec, we absolutely loved it especially the outside balcony, overlooking the estuary with fantastic sunsets, thankyou so much to Danielle and Greg and highly recommend it 😀 xxx

Absolutely gorgeous place. We loved being on the lake and and having access to it. Vanessa gave loads of recommendations and communicated well. Pictures matched the place. Wouldn't hesitate going back.

Spacious home, a stones throw from the beach.

We had a wonderful week at celebrating my sisters 60th birthday. The house is well appointed and equipped with everything needed, was spotless on arrival and is tastefully decorated. A great location for exploring the lakes, private and peaceful in a beautiful location. Definitely one of if not the very best property we have stayed in and I could not recommend it enough. Thank you Alison for being a super host!

We loved it. It was perfectly located for what we wanted to do, the view was amazing from the Patio breakfast and drinks. We were unbelievably lucky with the weather for late September, and didn’t need all the woollens that we had taken. It’s a steep hill to get to the place from the town, but very quickly got used to it. Overall. Super super happy with the place and if we come back to the lakes we would choose to come back here. (For the owners - many apologies for the broken glass, meant to replace but ran out of time).

Great location for us visiting family. Would be good for walkers /bird watchers etc as good coastal access . Lovely view from main living area.

Jack's place was great for what we needed; lots of space, good kitchen, near lots of places to eat, the beach and prom. Really good value for what you get. Jack sent really clear instructions too which was really helpful.

Lovely peaceful place, perfect for exploring the local area. The cottage was great and had everything I needed. Margaret even left a pint of milk on the doorstep for when I arrived. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family 😊

Nice apartment with amazing views and great location. Brian was responsive and arranged a resupply during our stay on paper goods, which was especially important as the Budgens in Gosforth is actually closed for renovations so you’re mostly on your own with what you bring. Note that the listing indicates one bedroom with 1x double and 2x single beds, and there are pictures of only one bedroom, but there are indeed two bedrooms!

loved the place only thing missing was some extra heating apart from radiator in lounge it got cool in there a couple of times whilst watching the panoramic views the bedroom was never cold .The loo and kitchen were tiny but that's okay as we didn't stay in them long kitchen equipment was all there .will be returning next year very close to dog friendly beach

If you’re looking for a lovely apartment with stunning views, you will not be disappointed by this stay in Morecambe. It’s in a quiet but ideal location with a short beach front walk to Happy Mount Park on one side or a longer beach front walk to the Morecambe pier, on the other. If you love Morecambe or are looking for a seaside apartment, I could not recommend this enough!
