Condo vacation rentals in Bowness-on-Windermere

It was almost perfect for us all. We were trading at a Steampunk weekend held in the platform (the old railway station) & this was within a minute’s walk of the venue. Free parking available outside if you’re quick. Our friends staying with us were attending & arriving/leaving at different times, so not having to worry about keys was really important. Lookout was of the bay & stunning views. Spacious apartment with small details thought of. The 4 of us are used to each other as we stay at each others houses, but here there was no lock on the bathroom door & that was a minor issue for us & could be a major one for others staying here.

Jason was very responsive and picked up right away when we called him to make sure we parked in the right place. He was friendly and helpful. The flat was clean and comfortable. It is a perfect location, everything in town was walkable. We did have someone in another flat playing music into the early hours on Saturday night but our white noise was able to block it out and it wasn’t too bothersome. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a central location.

We went for a short break and it was lovely! The house was perfect for chilling out after a long day. Kitchen had a lot of things we needed and plenty of things to do even in the home! Perfect location, both towns either side of us with lots of options to eat and all within walking distance too. We were so glad we were able to stay here and hoping to be back soon! Julie's place is perfect for stay in Lake District. is is very clean and tidy spacious bedrooms with ensuite to both bedrooms. what i liked the most which is definitely the biggest value add for this property is, 1- the Kitchen is Very well equipped & Clean and 2- Smart TV in every room makes it perfect for unwinding and TLC indoors. really enjoyed the stay will visit again.

The place was great. It’s smack bang in the middle of bowness right next to shops. The parking is very close by and so is everything else you’d want to do in town. Would highly recommend.

Such a lovely place to stay and a brilliant host! Set away from the main hustle and bustle of the street so minimal passersby, but very walkable to shops, pubs, restaurants, etc. Would stay here again!

Clare’s apartment was the perfect base for our hiking weekend. It was clean, well equipped and ideally located in Bowness for restaurants, shops and some wonderful views of Windermere. Clare was super supportive and did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you!

Dinah’s place is absolutely lovely .. such a beautiful cosy space with everything you need. The court yard space was fantastic to be able to sit outside and enjoy dinner and a drink ..will definitely be back

This place is absolutely stunning, no photo could possibly capture the true beauty of the building. The huge windows overlooking the stream are pure magic. It was an absolute dream of a stay, if you ever feel the need to just switch off and be alone with your thoughts and really unwind this is the place to do it. 100% I will be booking this again, everything was spotless and the decor is straight out of a cottage/industrial living magazine. There is nothing negative to say about this place other than the pure jealousy I feel that I don't live there full time.

We loved staying at the apartment . It is beautiful. Modern decor and spotlessly clean . Correspondence was excellent . I will definitely book again on my next visit .

Super in communicating, place is spotless, fun authentic and cosy interior/architecture. Not Ikea thankfully. Also comfortable tv, kitchen and couch. Matress itself looks new and is good, but bed in secondary room is in my opinion a bit short for an adult male over 6ft, if you are a back sleeper. Would advice this apartment for parents with children or shorter adults. Curtains are ok, but let in some light in the morning. would choose totally blacked out curtains, but as you might have guessed I am a bit of a hard sleeper. That’s why still rate 5 stars.

The property was a home from home. It was absolutely beautiful with an amazing garden and view. The property had everything we needed. The hosts communication was clear and proactive leaving no uncertainty about what to expect. The surrounding area is beautiful and the property itself very peaceful. Would definately stay again.

Thurnham hall is a great place to stay!

We loved our stay. The apartment was not like the photos on the listing but it was nice nonetheless. Quiet, easy access to Lancaster, helpful staff, top facilities - we highly recommend the spa. Would like to stay again.

Beautiful and quiet location with great views of the Lake. Walking distance to Bowness with plenty of restaurants to choose from. It was lovely to meet the dogs and Nigel. We both had a wonderful time. Thank you.

We loved our stay at Howe Tarn. It was the prefect base for exploring the Lakes. the accommodation was comfortable and very peaceful, and had everything we needed. Mark was proactive in checking on us and although we didn't need anything we were confident we would have got a swift response had we needed to ask anything. Would definitely stay again.
