This is a one off experience of a holiday home in the Lakes. A cosy comfortable house with all your home comforts, lovely sunny garden and only 15 minutes walking distance from both Windermere and Bowness centres with all their shops, bars and restaurants. (A little longer on the way back uphill.) It is the perfect stay for hikers and families alike. You have both towns on your doorstep and numerous walks from the front door. Parking space for one car outside house. Free street parking nearby.

Dorothy’s place is part of an 18th Century Villa. Adults only no children allowed. Everything you need for that perfect romantic break. Guests get full use of the large garden and woodland to take in the stunning view. If travelling by train our advice would be get a taxi from the station as can be difficult to find on foot .
