Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bol

SHE House was as advertised. We quickly called her home feeling acclimated & comfortable. Our GPS sent us some terrible way initially but the locals were very friendly offering us assistance. Our host was patient & accommodating showing us how many ways to reach the house ("all roads lead to SHE House"). We really enjoyed how centrally located the home was to all things on Brac Island. We realized our visit was a bit early for the weather & the season when our original ferry from Makarska was cancelled due to bad weather but no worries we just had to go to Split. The wind was so strong it actually blew open the latched front door one afternoon. The soft throws in the basket were nice & cozy-really appreciated. Some of our favorite meals were at Pumparela Restaurant & Taverna Riva in Bol; Konoba Kopacina & Restaurant Ziza in Donji Humac; Gastro Diva in Makarska. Driving in Croatia is NOT for the faint of heart but if you happen to be on the D8 stop for coffee at Strada.

Miejsce tak piękne, że żadne zdjęcie nie odda tego cudownego widoku, który zachwycał nas każdego dnia. Klimat domu niesamowity- czuliśmy się jak na bezludnej wyspie w otoczeniu kur, koguta, który był naszym porannym budzikiem a piękne koniki dopełniały urok tego miejsca... Dom czysty, bardzo dobrze wyposażony- a gotując obiady na patio można poczuć się swojsko. Blisko plaża z zejściem na dół na której byliśmy sami. Nie tylko klimat domu, jego położenie, niesamowity widok zrobił na nas wrażenie- tak wspaniałych gospodarzy, z ogromnym sercem, pomocnych i serdecznych jeszcze nie znaliśmy, a wracając ze spaceru do domu otrzymaliśmy od nich upominek i pięknego misia dla naszej córeczki. Z całego serca zachęcamy wszystkich tych, którzy cenią sobie spokój, ciszę, naturę i rajskie widoki. Dziękujemy za wszystko- Arek, Kasia, Adrianka.

Josipa’s incredible space is only matched by her warm, wonderful hospitality. We were floored when we saw the views—exactly as stunning as the photos promised—but even more impressed with the intentional style + atmosphere of the impeccable space she has created. We were so glad we got to meet her in person and chat a bit, she is a ray of sunshine and warmth and made us feel so welcomed. The hardest part was leaving—especially after coming home to the apartment to find the sweetest bowl of fresh cherries she’d left for us. A very very special place.

My whole family was obsessed with this place. The adults loved the beautiful scenery and the peacefulness and the kids loved the hot tub and the swings. The house is adorable and very nice and the views were even better than the pictures. We loved meandering around Humac and being close to so many interesting small villages to explore. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat on the island of Hvar, you will be hard pressed to find something better than Mario’s place.

The listing was just underneath Željko's house, so we had a private entrance, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, and washing machine! Željko was very helpful for an in-person check in, for we were running late for check in but he made sure everything was sorted out regardless. Also, we forgot beach towels for the two of us, and they were kind enough to lend us towels for the duration of our stay. We had a great time here and only took 20 minutes to walk to the Golden Horn beach!

marins place was everything we were looking for. The garden is well taken care of , perfect for breakfasts or dinners at home. Communication was a top. We could not ask for more. we would love to come back one day again.

We stayed at Stjepan’s apartment for 3 days. We were very happy. The apartment has lots of charme and is perfectly located. Restaurants and the port are just 3 min away. A parking space within walking distance (5min) is included, but is somewhat difficult to find. This isn’t a big problem however: when we first failed to find it, we contacted Stjepan. Within 10min his lovely mother knocked on our door and showed us the parking space. And when we left she gave us some homemade dried figs. She was so nice. Overall we can highly recommend staying here.

We love this house 🥰 We have stayed here before and we will always come back 🥰 The house is beautiful, clean and delicate decorated! It’s in a quiet area and private 🥰 Not far away from the village with restaurants and stores. The supermarket is just around the corner. The owners are very friendly and they respond quickly to messages. The pool is very nice and the view is stunning!🤩 Absolutely love this house! 🥰🥰🥰

Parfait ! Appartement rénové spacieux pour un couple en plein centre de Bol. Très propre et très commode. Gros plus pour le restaurant en dessous qui est très bon. Nous reviendrons sans doute !

Great location—just 5 mins to the pier and close to the beach! Surrounded by restaurants and supermarkets. The place is clean, spacious, and has a sunny balcony. The host was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended for convenience and comfort!

We really loved and enjoyed staying at Željan’s place. The apartment has everything you need, it is super well equiped overall (kitchen utensils - all you need for cooking, spices, even coffee, extra towels in the bathroom, washing machine with laundry detergent, disheasher). The host is very friendly and helpful. The location of the apartment is great, it is somewhere between the beach and the city centre. I would higly recommend the place 😊

Fabulous second stay at Carstens apartment! This accommodation is spotless, well equipped and peaceful. Carsten is an extremely helpful host, answering any questions which we had and checking in to ensure that we had everything that we needed! Thank you for another great stay ☺️

We greatly enjoyed staying at Renci’s and would highly recommend to others. The pool in particular was a great asset as my husband was sleeping late, but I could still get my day started poolside. Renci was very helpful in making recommendations including helping us book a private boat to take us to some sights and an incredible lunch that was accessible from the water. Highly recommend!

Sehr tolles Apartment mit super Ausblick auf das Meer. Es gab alles was man braucht und zwei Supermärkte sind in ca. 5 Gehminuten erreichbar. Wenn es noch eine Mikrowelle gäbe dann wäre es perfekt :) Gerne wieder!

A perfect place to stay! The host was super friendly and responsive. The place was clean and beautiful. the only thing I was missing is some kitchen equipment, in case you want to cook something, don't forget to get your own. I definitely recommend this place! Special credit to that view🌊🐚🚢

Fabulous apartment in a great location with an amazing and memorable view. Apartment is comfortable with great amenities. Everything’s well thought out. Great bedding, plenty of towels, hooks, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, and a bottle of wine! The espresso machine was fantastic! He met us at the ferry dock and helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. Perfect stay! Highly recommend! The view from the apartment balcony is the best!

Maya, her son, and father are amazing!!! Very friendly and accommodating. We spent the most time here during our 2 week Euro trip. Fantastic views from the balcony and a great place to relax with lounge chairs and a table to eat at. Right on the water with a great walk down to the shore where you can jump right into the sea! Space was modern, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was SO nice. By far the nicest bathroom of anywhere we stayed. Maya's father took us out on his boat with his beagle. It was amazing. He knew the best spots, shared cool information/stories. It was a very authentic/non touristy experience. Maya let us borrow snorkel gear and that was beyond awesome because we snorkeled in the sea by the house but also on our boat trip which was truly special. She also provided homemade olive oil which was divine. WONDERFUL experience and stay.

Perfekte, vollständig ausgestattete Unterkunft. Sogar verschiedenste Waschmittel lagen parat, ebenso Grundlagen der Küche wie Kaffee, Zucker, Öle, Essig usw. Die Lage zwischen Supermarkt und Strand ist ein Traum. Alles modern, sauber und großzügig geschnitten. Die Bilder in der Wohnung sind ungewöhnlich und einen Blick wert 🤭. Bis auf den Parkplatz ist auch alles total unkompliziert. Um zum Parkplatz auf dem Innenhof zu gelangen, am besten in der Einbahnstraße gegen den Strich fahren wie die Einheimischen 😉 Kroatien ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert, Split besonders, und diese Unterkunft kann ich nur empfehlen 👍.

We stayed a week at the apartment. Lea and her family were very friendly and helpful. Private beach right outside. Supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. Uber to Split took around 20 minutes and cost 10-15 euro. We had a wonderful time, would recommend!

The Studio flat was really great with everything you need for a holiday. It is very close to Split airport so only 10 minuits by taxi. Enough distance so that there is hardly any aircraft noise. It is literally across the road from the beach. All the beaches have fine slightly sharp gravel so take beach shoes. The Island of Trogir is a 10 minuite bus journey ride away that stops practically outside the door. You can also easily bus to many little beaches with changing places and showers. There are Water sports, buses, water taxis close by and a ferry to Split. The host is really nice, always contactable, very helpful and full of local knowledge. I cannot recommend the wonderful host and her family enough in this perfect location.

This was the PERFECT place to stay in Split. The location was ideal for us — close enough to walk easily to town, but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. Easy access to the beach. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with a view we will never forget. Igor was a wonderful host, very kind and helpful, and gave us some wonderful recommendations for food and drinks in town! Highly recommend and hope we can make it back someday.

Ich durfte einen Monat in Lila’s und Borko’s Apartment verbringen und habe die Zeit sehr genossen. Beide sind sehr herzliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber und versorgen den Gast mit allem, was für einen sorgenfreien, entspannten und schönen Aufenthalt notwenig ist. Bei längeren Aufenthalten wird auch zwischendrin die Wohnung makellos gereinigt. Der Blick aus den Dachfenstern ist traumhaft, da sich die Wohnung fast am höchsten bebauten Punkt befindet. Die Lage der Wohnung ist einfach perfekt. Man kann sich jeden Tag aufs Neue entscheiden, ob man lieber durch die kleinen, lebendigen Gassen mit zahlreichen Restaurant runter zur Riva schlendert oder doch in den großen Marjan Park, der direkt oberhalb der Wohnung beginnt. Man ist also genau in der Mitte zwischen Stadt und Natur. Hier finden sich auch viele schöne, kleine Buchten und Strände. Mein Favorit war der Kasjuni Beach. Ich habe mit bei Lila und Borko sehr wohl gefühlt und würde mich freuen, bald wieder zurückzukehren.
