The flat is lovely and a great location for the south downs and surrounding areas. Allocated parking. Carrie was really accommodating on check-in and very responsive. The flat was squeaky clean, modern, stylish and comfortable. Beautiful rooms, especially the kitchen which is very well equipped with everything you could need.

Thanks to Wendy and Barry for a lovely stay at The Hideaway. It is a delightful little place and they have thought of every practical thing needed for a comfortable stay, including some welcome treats! We have no hesitation in recommending The Hideaway for a break in Hampshire.

We found Simon’s place to a good staring point for many activities. The Cowdray Polo Grounds are a 10 minute walk away, we went to watch a game and everyone was friendly. Great experience. The Cowdray Farm Gate Estate Shop has some wonderful produce. The Midhurst Old Town is lovely and there’s a small Sainbury’s and a small Tesco’s in easy walking distance. From Midhurst we went Arundel Castle (very interesting), Beachy Head and Barling Gap (longish drive but worthwhile), Amberley (a ‘chocolate’ box village streetscape). Simon’s flat has everything you could need, and feels like a lived in home. We really enjoyed our seven nights there.

We had a lovely stay at Catherine’s delightful coach house. It is in an idyllic rural location with country walks alongside fields of horses and alpacas right from the door. Check in was really easy and we found everything we needed in the property. We were even pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the sofa bed was! There is lots to do in the local area. We visited the Portsmouth historic dockyard, Stansted Park (for an open air theatre performance) and Weald & Downland living museum in the 3 days we were in the area. We will certainly be back to explore this beautiful area further.

Our stay at Peter’s place was wonderful. The studio is a converted garage, beautifully presented, in the front garden and has everything you might need. The property is located in a leafy quiet neighbourhood, about a 30 min walk to the Chichester town centre. The town has lots to offer, as does the region. We would highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at The Nest. The location is fantastic, just a short five-minute walk to a quiet, sandy stretch of beach where we spent much of each day. The accommodation was spotless and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weekend. The extra bed for our son was perfect, and we all slept really well. Lucy was an excellent host, friendly, responsive, and full of helpful local tips. Her clear instructions made finding The Nest and accessing the keys effortless. We’d absolutely recommend staying here and look forward to returning in the future!

What a fantastic find, so close to the sea, pub locally for food and a fish and chip van too. The accommodation was spotless and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a wonderful few days thanks and hope we’ll be back again soon.

Rebecca's place was a treat. Great layout, and tastefully decorated. It felt like home right from the start. The round livingroom gave us a panoramic view of the surroundings and beautiful sunsets. I would definitely recommend this place.

Lanie’s place was spotless and very tastefully decorated, peaceful and comfortable. It had everything we needed and she left us a welcome pack of delicious goodies. She made it clear she was on hand in case we needed anything but wasn’t in the least intrusive. Highly recommended and we would love to come again.

Lovely little spot, it's very close to the beach and about 15 minutes walk to lovely restaurants. Do be careful it's very difficult to get into the bedroom for someone with any sort of mobility rooms (even for us it was a bit of a slow thing) but actually once you're in, its super cosy so worked for us.

Fantastic stay! The location is perfect, with an easy 10 min walk to everything we wanted to see/do. Restaurants & pubs are nearby, too. If we are visiting Portsmouth/IOW again, we’ll definitely stay here again, but choose a lower floor. The penthouse was a lot of stairs and coming in from Heathrow with five pieces of checked luggage was not ideal.

stayed at this place as was visiting friends in the area, would definitely use this place again, was a described on the listing, Nick was a great host he met us as we turned up and left milk and bread cakes for us on our arrival, he also gave us great tips on places to eat and drink in the local area, Would def recommend,

The apartment was exactly as described, very clean and well ordered, with a very good location in the heart of the town and close to the beach also. Marc was very responsive and helpful at all times.

This is a lovely, comfortable flat in a great location. Having the beach directly across the front lawn is obviously a big selling point, particularly if you are brave enough to get into the sea. We really enjoyed that there are great options which are walkable along the coast or into the village, as well as lots to do within a short drive. Perfect for a short break. Property is well equipped with everything you would expect. Very clear and quick communication from Jo.

The host and his family are all nice helpful people. The area is also nice with shops nearby. Maybe just check with the host about parking, becquse we were not sure where we can park. Nice stay.

Rhiannon's flat was everything we wanted for our trip to Portsmouth. Nearby the sea front and our niece who we were visiting. The flat had everything we needed, and was nice and spacious. Rhiannon was a great host, easy to contact, friendly and kind (especially as we think our young son hid her remote control, which we couldn't find!) Thanks Rhiannon!

We really enjoyed our stay, the access to the sister hotel’s facilities including indoor and outdoor pools was fabulous and it was very well situated between the beach and the high street right next to the beautiful chine. Loved the Isle with its beautiful botanical gardens, beaches and dinosaur fossils to explore!

What a lovely place and lovely hosts. The bed was so comfortable we slept more than usual, unless it was the lovely relaxing hot tub that tired us. The welcome food and treats and wine was very generous and very welcome. It was a very quiet and relaxing area. We stayed for 6 nights and would highly recommended

What a wonderful stay, there was lots of instructions so you know exactly how to use everything. The kitchen was well equipped and there was instructions on how to use the microwave/ oven. The location was brilliant, lots of things to do around and a quick walk to the beach. The host has really thought of everything. Highly recommend.

Just returned from our 4 night family break staying at the Shanklin villa, we couldn’t have found a better accommodation for our trip. Everything was exactly as described, the apartment was clean, tidy very spacious and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend our hosts Matt & Steph enough. They were extremely helpful and very kindly let us use facilities at their nearby hotel. We would happily return and would recommend to everyone looking for a shanklin holiday
