Cabin vacation rentals in Blue River

We recently stayed at Jay’s place in Alma for a ski trip, and we had the best time. The accommodation was perfect and, honestly, one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in. The level of detail he’s put into all the little things makes for such an exceptional stay. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice, cozy stay away from the noise but close to the ski field.

The Blue River cabin was a peaceful, comfortable getaway for my husband and I. It was truly everything we could have hoped for. The ambience was cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was modern and had everything we needed to help us prepare several meals. Every room had beautiful views. We spent quite a bit of time outside walking around or sitting on the deck. The area has neighbors, but lots of privacy and no noise. We will definitely plan to return to this wonderful oasis in the mountains!

Exactly what we wanted. Secluded yet close to I70 so we could get anywhere fairly quickly. Be a great place to stay if you were skiing several different mountains. Deck over looking the creek was awesome!

Our group of 8 had a wonderful time on our week stay. The house is located in a beautiful spot close to Breckenridge skiing and FairPlay fishing, and the community around it are some of the nicest people I have ever met! Truly an amazing experience!

Beautiful views, spacious, well stocked kitchen, furniture for baby, great hot tub, plenty of beds! Elizabeth and management company were very responsive and accommodating to our needs. All and all great experience!

Our family had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed our cabin stay. We celebrated my son’s birthday and Mother’s Day together. My son always likes to go on a trip/experience for his birthday and this was the cabin he chose. Picturesque views. Weather was great. The cabin really helps you feel right at home while soaking up the relaxation. We really had a great time.

Absolutely bliss. Gorgeous. Mountain View from the hot tub was my favorite. A great hike less than 10 minutes away. Quiet, private and super clean!! Highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay near Fairplay. Loved calling this home for a week.

My husband and I booked this home for our 19th Anniversary Trip last minute after deciding we weren’t excited about going to the beach. And boy, did we make a great choice In fact we came home thinking maybe we should move to Colorado:) Everything about this home is perfection. Stunning views in every direction. Hot tub stargazing is the perfect way to end a day exploring the mountains. Comfortable bed and furniture. We were even lucky enough to watch moose taking an afternoon swim in the community fishing pond We truly did not want to leave. If this house is on your list, just go ahead and book it, you won’t regret it.

The cabin was very comfortable and well-designed, and I especially loved the quirky artwork. The kitchen was small but very functional. The only warning I'd give is not to underestimate the elevation! Going straight from sea level to stay at 10,674 feet was maybe a bit rash, and I did have a pretty bad headache for the entire trip sadly.

Stayed here with 6 people total and everyone was very comfortable. Tara provided helpful instructions and was always responsive to any questions I had. The property requires a gate code and has very little traffic once off the main road. Kitchen was spacious and the loft bedroom upstairs was super cool. We got snowed on pretty good our first night so we were very glad to be able to use the fireplace at the home! The place was very clean and couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Helena’s home in Fairplay was wonderful! It was incredibly clean and was great for our family. It was super kid friendly which was great! The gate at the top of the stairs was perfect to help contain our 18 month old and both our kids had so much fun playing on the playground in the backyard. The views off the back porch are amazing! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again.

We stayed here for our wedding, and we could not be happier with our stay. We had everything we needed, and it was a nice, quiet place to get away. A bit far from stores and restaurants, but we were prepared and loved to cook at the house. Scenery was beautiful, I loved waking up to the mountain sunrise every morning. Thanks for such a beautiful home for our stay!’

We had a fantastic time at Jordan's house. It is located in a quiet and peaceful place— in the mornings you can hear birds singing, and we were lucky to see a moose. The house is very clean and comfortable, it has everything you need. Jordan responds to messages very quickly and it was a real pleasure to be a guest at her house.

Loved the cabin! Super cute and comfortable, Anthony was very nice and always responded when we had questions and appreciated he let me bring my cats and dog. Would like to come back and next time try the fishing. Thank you!

Beautiful cabin with even more beautiful views. Lots of room. I visited with my fiancé, our two daughters, and my mom. We had an amazing few days in the mountains. David was super informative ahead of time and was responsive/easy to reach. The deck and views alone make this place worth it. Definitely recommend!

Dewlap Lodge is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Colorado’s breathtaking wilderness! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views of Glacier Peak and the surrounding landscape. The lodge itself is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort—spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. The host was fantastic, providing thoughtful touches throughout the home, including a fully stocked kitchen, cozy fireplace, and even recommendations for local hiking trails. Whether you're looking for adventure or just a peaceful retreat, this spot has it all. Waking up to the crisp mountain air and watching the sunset from the deck was truly magical. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend Dewlap Lodge to anyone looking for a five-star experience in the Rockies!

Kayla's spot in Blue River is wonderful. It was perfect for me and my dog to get away for a few nights- and I would have stayed longer if I could have. The space is bright and aesthetically pleasing, the bed and couch are very comfortable, it's a nice space to spend time in. Also a great spot to be in location-wise- the neighborhood is great for dog walking, there are multiple hikes nearby, and if you are there to be in Breckenridge, it is minutes away. And Kayla is a wonderful host- she is very responsive, supportive and friendly- I highly recommend this spot.

The Cozy Cabin was just that. If you want a slightly rustic, out of the way place this is it. It was homey and the record player/collection enthralled my kids! Not to mention the wood burning stove! At the beginning of June it was chilly in the evenings but just right for a little fire. My kids did not want to leave, despite not having screens! My son loved “chopping” wood in the yard. We unfortunately did not see any moose! A goal for the next time we rent this cabin! We will definitely rent again! Sarah made it so easy! Thank you.

This cozy Breck cabin exceeded my expectations! It's perfectly situated for easy outdoor access south to Hoosier Pass and Alma/Fairplay or north to Breckenridge. Being a high elevation (10,500'), this spot was perfect after a few days of acclimating at lower elevations and as a jumping off point for nearby high peaks (13ers and 14ers). I cannot recommend this space enough and hope to rebook should I be in the area in the future. Thank you for making a dream of mine (living in a high mountain cabin in winter) a partial reality!!

Well appointed kitchen and amenities. No air conditioning, so beware during the summer; the lower level gets warm 76°+ and the loft gets hotter. Overall we had a nice stay.

Great little cabin! GPS took me right there with no issues. Everything is exactly as described and clean. Would love to stay here again!
