Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Blowing Rock

Cozy space , very close and convenient to outings. Luckily there wasn’t snow to drive up the mountain, it can get foggy tho but nothing that can’t be handled with safety. Definitely recommend :)

Absolutely perfect spot for a ski getaway. We had a blast at Beech Mtn and loved being able to snuggle up next to a real fire after a wonderful day of skiing

This place was peaceful with beautiful views. We loved getting to sit outside on the balcony in the morning and drink coffee and read. It was lovely getting to open the windows and let the breeze come in through the screens. Also it is the PERFECT location if you are attending a wedding at the Overlook Barn.

We had a great stay!! Everything was just as described! Perfect distance to sugar and beech for skiing! We hope to be back soon!

Jason’s space is fantastic. The condo itself is modern and up to date. The facilities amenities , while 90s vintage, are extremely well maintained and track with a ski/golf lodge. I would not hesitate to book this space again for a lot of reasons, top being how easy transportation is with the facility/village shuttle. Show up with food and clothes, and just ride the shuttle to the slopes! No muss, no fuss.

Stephanie's home was very comfortable, with plenty of space, great amenities, and incredible views. I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay at Sugar Mountain.

What a great place! Also the host was very kind and great communication! Very nice place and only 10 minutes from Sugar Mountain. Wonderful amenities including pool, hot tub, sauna, library, shop, workout room etc etc. Only (potential) issue which is no fault of the owners is that this is a large 10 story condo complex. On busy days, especially around the weekend it can get very busy during check in and check out and you have to park outside of the guard shack and get shuttled back to the condo. Again, we didn’t really have much of a hang up but others did-just something to keep in mind. Fantastic place, and well equipped! Thank you again!

Just took my young girls there for their first time skiing and it was a great experience! Ian was very responsive and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place and I look forward to going back! The views and accommodations were amazing!!

Chris's place was perfect for our quick stay for a wedding! If you are looking for an Airbnb for an Overlook Barn wedding, it couldn't be closer! Less than 5 minutes driving and easy for shuttle pick up. Comfortable place to crash and Chris was so helpful with recommendations around the area!

This was the first time we have stayed at this Sugar Top location and with Michelle as host and i sincerely hope to stay again! Michelle was a great communicator and very patient with all my questions. The unit was lovey, updated, comfortable, and welcoming. The beds were COMFY! There were lots of extra blankets and pillows, which was so nice to have. The space was perfect for our little family! The staff at the property were all so friendly and helpful. We genuinely felt welcomed from beginning of our stay until we checked out. 10 out of 10 recommend Michelle and her property!

We booked at the last minute, but Hsiang-Ting made sure the front desk at the condo was informed, ensuring a smooth check-in. He was responsive and answered all our questions. The instructions were clear. The condo was perfect for a small family like ours. The location is convenient—just 2 miles straight to the top of the mountain—offering the privacy and seclusion ideal for this kind of retreat, yet still a short distance from a convenience store. The hotel also has a small pantry stocked with essentials like laundry detergent and toothbrushes. Overall, I would definitely recommend it.

We really loved our stay! The house was clean and beautifully decorated. Great views of Hawksnest snow tubing (which was a fun activity). The house had everything we needed — comfortable beds, plenty of blankets, fireplace and fire pit, a stocked coffee bar, and plenty of parking. The kids loved the bunk room and game room. The balcony has a lot of comfortable seating as well. The hosts were incredibly gracious and kind, as well as available if we needed them. Thanks for the wonderful stay!!

We booked this house last minute, on the drive up, after our previous booking was damaged in a storm. Check in was easy and the place was ready to go. The house itself was a lot of fun. We enjoyed the workout area, hot tub and tons of games as well as a 3 minute drive to the ski resort. It was everything we were looking for.

Really enjoyed our stay. The place makes you feel at home. Very convenient to everything you need. Will be back!

The view was incredible. Kids loved the bunkbeds and hot tub downstairs. I had previously read quite a few reviews prior to booking. It's important to remember that this home is a bit further from Blowing Rock and Boone than expected. However, that's the appeal IMO. It's peaceful. The hiking is great with both easy and difficult hikes within a short walk of the front door. The family had a wonderful time. Will book again.

Had another enjoyable week at Ross’s Retreat. So much room to relax and enjoy the beautiful lake & Mountain View’s. The 2 kayaks always a plus. Hopefully will be back again next year. Thanks again.

Great place to stay even in the winter ! Walk to the gym and clubhouse or take a short drive to the indoor pool. Great location for skiing or trails, or a quick trip to Blowing Rock.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin! It was just the two of us, but a large family or a few couples would easily enjoy the space. The views were great, the hosts were responsive and kind, the hot tub was huge, the home itself was beautiful and spacious. We are very thankful to have found this cabin at the lastttt minute after a cancellation from another host. Feel very blessed this is where we ended up for a nice weekend away to spend some time together. 11/10 would recommend!
