Beach house vacation rentals in Birch Bay

This place is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! What an amazing view and space and it worked out perfectly for my time together with my daughter. We enjoyed just staying put and soaking in the beauty. I really can't say enough about how perfect this place is. I absolutely love the trains going by as well, and it was not disturbing at all. We highly recommend Carol's place and we are so looking forward to returning!

We loved the sunrises over mt baker and sitting by a warm campfire at night. Peaceful beach to walk on. Thanks for the nice getaway!

Thoughtful, simple decor that let us feel at home and left ample room for out stuff. Firm memory foam queen bed upstairs; twin beds downstairs probably best left to children. Stunning views with loads of sun and sometimes serious glare inside due to no curtains. Bring slippers, tile floors are pretty cold. Kitchen was great - full marks on pots, utensils, dishes and open cupboard space. Grounds and dock were lovely such that we felt comfortable walking around barefoot. Area was quiet. East side of the lake seems way more chill than the west. Worth the extra drive time. Overall great place - would love to come back!

The house is very comfortable and just as beautiful as the photos. The location is incredible - amazing views of the water, mountains, and big ships passing. It was so lovely to be able to just walk across the street and be on the beach with long walks possible in either direction. It was also really convenient for groceries and restaurants along 4th Ave, and an easy 15 minute drive to downtown and Stanley Island. We loved Vancouver and our stay in this beautiful home!

Echo everyone else’s reviews and then some! Stacey’s place is a gem. The setting is stunning, so private. The house is cozy and tastefully decorated with lots of interesting artwork and books. It’s a real home that clearly has been well loved. We were a little concerned about the trains as we’ve camped at Larrabee State Park before. We didn’t really notice them during the day and at night for those sleeping in the downstairs bedrooms. We put the heavy sleepers in the first floor bedrooms! The house, setting, and the reasonable price compensated for any disturbance. We’ll definitely be back with kayaks, Dot Island was calling! Jim and Sue are outstanding hosts who go above and beyond to ensure their guests are taken care of. Their air bnb was a clean, cozy and peaceful place to stay. The location was perfect and close to everything we needed. The sunset beach walks were stunning. Words cannot express how grateful we are for the kindness and compassion they shared during our difficult circumstances. Our recent stay at this amazing house, hosted by the absolutely wonderful Gramma Rikki, was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The location was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed breathtaking views and easy access to all the island's treasures. Whether we wanted to explore the vibrant town, hike scenic trails, or simply relax and soak in the tranquility, everything was conveniently within reach. But what truly made our experience exceptional was the incredible hospitality of Gramma Rikki. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their genuine kindness and attentiveness made us feel like valued guests, and we truly appreciated their warm and welcoming spirit. The house itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring the island. Incredibly gorgeous home with a beautiful view. Felt secluded and private. The inside is a perfect mix of the original build with some contemporary furniture. Everything was very clean and had several stocked items to make it feel like home. The host was very responsive if we had any questions and nice. only had a single small issue and it was fixed very quick. Will be looking at staying here again in the future.

We really enjoyed our 2 week stay at Evgeniya’s place! Really felt like home and she was a very responsive host. She generously allowed a late check out which was very helpful and even had a couple of pots delivered to us when we explained that there was only one in the unit. Beautiful home right on the ocean in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well setup for cooking. The bedrooms are spacious and beds comfortable.

I've hardly ever written a review for a rental, but I'm writing one for this house because it was really wonderful. We received nice, clear instructions on how to find the house plenty ahead of time. The house was perfectly clean, and all the furniture and kitchen items were in very good condition. The porch is very large and has a wonderful view, and one is right on the water on a perfect little pebble beach. We also liked the more general location very much; in particular the house is about 1.5 miles from the English Camp Park, which was very nice for a run.

We had a fantastic holiday at Charles and Kristy's place. Their home sits right by the sound, with a lovely swing set nearby. Simply sitting there, surrounded by the rushing water and birdsong, was one of the most peaceful experiences I’ve had in a long time. The setting is private, quiet, and a perfect escape from busy Seattle. There are two beaches adjacent to the property, though we didn’t have time to explore them. With so much to do on San Juan Island, we stayed busy the rest of our trip. Oh, and the gas grill was a great touch—we had fun using it!

Right next to the Lummi Island ferry so easy to pop over and adventure there. Fairly spacious yard that is shared with the main house on the property, and can walk over to the water to enjoy some water views too.
