This cabin was so dreamy! On our drive in, we spotted a beautiful gray fox and a few deer. The forest surrounding the cabin is just beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. I thought I wouldn’t like to walk to the bath house, but honestly I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s only a short walk, and it gives you multiple chances to spot wildlife. The bath house is clean and has everything you need. I especially enjoyed the French press coffee and slow mornings reading in the cabin

This place is super cute! My family of four stayed there for a couple nights and it was perfect for what we needed. Very cozy and comfortable! Sitting in the jacuzzi on a chilly day looking out over the river was transcendent. Oh, and the king bed was super comfortable. Also loved all the Pendleton blankets, towels, and robe/Pancho's! It's worth noting that this isn't a super spacious place. Nowhere really to stash luggage. Small bathroom. None of that was unexpected or a problem for us. Also, the wifi was a little slow. In order to watch a movie on our ipad we had to download it because streaming didn't well and it took ~15 minutes to download. Again, not really a problem, but downloading in advance would have been helpful.

Host has very clear instructions for checking in and parking. The townhouse is very clear and modern. Living room/kitchen are on 2nd floor and both bedrooms are on 3rd. The location is near the town center but very quiet. We only stayed one night and enjoyed the convenience. Thanks for hosting!

This place was huge and accommodated all 6 of us comfortably. There is a Jack and Jill half bath connected to two of the rooms, a full bath in one of the bedrooms, another full bath upstairs by the bedrooms and a half bath on the first level. Sunny was a great host and very responsive. As mentioned in other reviews, the house is a little dated but I believe he’s working on getting it updated. We did find a half full white claw can in the window in the dining area, assuming from the prior vacationers, but nothing extreme in the way of cleanliness. The floors and stairs can be a bit slippery if only wearing socks, so please be careful!! All in all, this was a great house and location!

Words cannot describe how special this place is. We were lucky enough to stay for almost a month, and the house and beach just kept on giving. The space has an incredible view out to the Salish sea, and we watched a parade of herons, bald eagles, and numerous other seabirds from the front deck. The house is equipped with everything you need and more, full of whimsy and fun art supplies, games, the best blankets and comforters ever, and two cozy fireplaces. The photos do not do the house justice; it's huge and modern, open plan, but with lots of private sitting spaces. Dawn and Zach are the kindest, most wonderful hosts. There's a reason the Sunset house has hundreds of rave reviews. If you have a chance to book it, don't hesitate.

We had a wonderful stay! Albert was very responsive, helpful and accommodating. The home had everything we needed, especially a beautiful and functional kitchen and dining space for some group dinners. The area was quiet and safe, and had a fantastic view of the mountains. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Our stay here was great! My partner, myself and my small dog were looking for a cozy and scenic place to stay while visiting family in Bellingham and this was the perfect place. We were both able to work remotely with great WiFi/cell service, take nice dog walks down the road, enjoy the stunning views of the twin sisters peaks, stargaze through the bedroom skylight, play games and relax. Caroline was super responsive and the place was very clean! In classic PNW fashion, there were even giant slabs of wild caught salmon in the freezer and Caroline graciously offered one to us for cooking. The location is great too! 30 mins from b-ham, easy drives to Mt. Baker or I-5, and in the summer you could enjoy a nice walk to the ever-wonderful Acme diner. This place was a gem and I would love to come back in the summer someday!

Teri’s condo is fabulous! Sparkling clean; beautifully appointed. She had incredibly helpful, friendly texts and emails. The condo unit was on the end; was nice and quiet, with a pretty view of lawn and garden. The pool and Hotub were great! We would happily stay again!! Thank you Teri!

Emma's place was perfect for our needs. There was plenty of room for all of us - including our 2 big dogs! The decor is lovely, just like the pictures, but free from clutter, which I appreciated. The kitchen had every item we needed to make our meals. The sauna and cold soak tub were a very appreciated bonus! The neighborhood is very peaceful, and felt safe for walking our dogs. Most importantly was how kind, gracious, and communicative Emma was. She allowed us to check in early, which helped us immensely, and answered any questions we had quickly. I would definitely recommend this rental to others.

This place us a gem! it's cute and totally worth it. Very quite and the hosts are kind, proactive and considerate. The place has charm and dates you back a few decades Mirrors in bedroom complete the 80's look. 100 percent recommend

My family loved this place! Very clean, left us snacks, rackets for the indoor court, access to the pool, and even towels and blankets for our dog. Our host was very responsive to my messages, and we were able to check in 3 hours earlier. It was quiet, easy access to the beach, and most of all, my kids loved it as well, and they’re tough critics. I highly recommend staying there.

Great place to stay in Birch Bay! Dan and Sherri were great hosts, the condo was very comfortable and had a nice view of the bay. Very responsive and answered all our questions promptly and clearly. Would stay here again!

Was the perfect getaway for my wife and kids! Pool was amazing and great fun for our kids. Place was clean, quiet and it was the perfect peaceful location for a relaxing weekend! Can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time at Reubens tiny home. The grounds are well cared for and the home itself is clean, comfortable and bright. I loved waking up in the morning, brewing a cup of coffee in the kitchen with the windows open. The bed was very comfortable and earplugs were provided since the train is so close by, but we love the noise (except perhaps at 2am!) so chose not to use them. We kept the skylight above the bed open at night to listen to the frogs and crickets and other countryside ambiance. There is an airport nearby, so lots of activity in the sky above most of the day. We took a short morning walk at Blaauw eco reserve , which is a 5 min walk up the road from your front door. Fort Langley is close-by and great for an afternoon treasure hunt and lunch. The Sauna was a nice treat and the whole setup is very peaceful. One of our favorite memories of our stay was Blue the dog happily galloping towards us when we entered the gate to say our goodbyes. Highly recommend! Thanks!

Emilia's cottage getaway was wonderful! The Airbnb was distant enough to feel private, and the hot tub being available was amazing! Emilia was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend 👍

Fantastic place to stay

We were doing a large reno and needed a place to stay that was fully equipped. We also wanted to have our dog with us and have our children and grandchildren visit. Rachel's place was exactly what we needed.

This was our third stay at Pebbly peak. Nice spot for getting around , super tidy and cozy as well as peaceful in the evenings . Pamela was a great host , Thanks again for having us and our doggies ❤️❤️

Loni and Alana have a great little refuge for anyone visiting Bellingham. The property is beautiful, the home is clean and private, and they were incredibly gracious hosts. Will definitely be staying there again!

We had a fantastic holiday at Charles and Kristy's place. Their home sits right by the sound, with a lovely swing set nearby. Simply sitting there, surrounded by the rushing water and birdsong, was one of the most peaceful experiences I’ve had in a long time. The setting is private, quiet, and a perfect escape from busy Seattle. There are two beaches adjacent to the property, though we didn’t have time to explore them. With so much to do on San Juan Island, we stayed busy the rest of our trip. Oh, and the gas grill was a great touch—we had fun using it!

This place is a daylight basement with partial view of the bay and a great view of the stream that runs from the south edge of Birch Bay State Park north to the bay. We saw lots of bird activity. The place is tastefully decorated in a seaside theme and is quite spacious, especially for only 2 people. There are plenty of beds for a medium family. 2 Kayaks with PFDs were provided and we were able to launch from the stream bank just below our apartment and paddle upstream to the State Park. We even managed to disturb some eagles so got to see them flying over us chattering and screaming as we paddled by. Be aware that there is only a toaster oven and charcoal grill for oven type foods. The stove top worked well for us. There is also a nice microwave and full sized refrigerator. The hot tub was a nice addition. The bay way easy walking distance away. The public walking path and beach was a bit further north and was a very nice walk for us, and there was plenty of parking for access too.

My friend who rented the other cabin and myself loved our stay. The patios were beautiful, comfortable and perfect to sit outside. Loved the fountain. My cabin felt like home. I loved all the little details and the plants! It was great to be able to walk to the restaurants and the coffee shop. We did not need to cook at all during our stay, the restaurants were so convenient and yummy. I miss not having Isabel's coffee this morning once home. We checked out the hiking trails and were on the go the entire time exploring the island. I didn't want to leave! Thank you so much! We hope to return.
