Excellent stay at Laurence's! Listing is as described. The view of the Limeuil cingle is beautiful, the setting is green and peaceful. We took full advantage of the swimming pool and outdoor games available on site.

The accommodation is beautiful, very central and historic. Just be warned that the fabulous sights around Sarlat are difficult to access as an independent traveller without a car. Bus service is almost non existent and I couldn’t find tours or even walking trails. Surprising considering how many tourists visit.

Very pleasant, functional, quiet accommodation and totally in line with expectations. Ideal for combining proximity to the city center and a starting point for sightseeing tours. We had a great time. Everyone is happy with the space. Catherine was responsive and attentive. Great hospitality, with welcome gifts. We plan to go back in the summer to better enjoy the outdoors. Maybe by then there will be a pool (laughs). Thank you very much Catherine.

What the listing does not emphasise enough is the high quality of the way this 300 year old property has been renovated. Plus, the decor and fittings are high quality: it really is like living in a real home, not simply a place that has been kitted out on a budget just for AirBnB. And... always a good sign.... the kitchen knives are sharp, there is an apron for the cook, and spices and herbs are provided. For those of you from the UK, think of the best of 'Rural Retreats' (a very high quality set of holiday rental properties.) The property is in a tiny hamlet of 3 houses. It really is a quiet and beautiful setting. Virginia is generous with access to the garden (which is shared with her home). She is the perfect combination of being friendly but not intrusive.

Great location. Beautiful surroundings. Pool was amazing for the kids and a little bigger than it looks in the photos. Comfy beds, lots of storage and fresh towels with blankets to wrap up in on the evenings.

Great relaxing stay at Cindy's. We had a great time there with my spouse, the accommodation is as described, we were very well settled in a quiet area. A little more relaxing with the very pleasant hot tub after the day in the rain.
