Built in 1888, this is one of the oldest boats in Amsterdam and is located in the Jordaan near the Anne Frank house and the Central Station. Stay in a traditional Dutch Miller’s Cabin beside an authentic 1632 windmill, surrounded by canals and nature in the North Holland countryside. Hand built during the windmill’s restoration, the cabin offers a peaceful and unique stay while still being close to Alkmaar and only 40 minutes from Amsterdam by train. I am a traditional Dutch miller born and raised in Alkmaar, and my American wife, Kelly, and I enjoy sharing this special place with guests from around the world.

Our apartment is located on the top floor in one of Alkmaar's most famous buildings. It is the ideal base for exploring the city and the region. Step outside into the picturesque streets and canals and take a walk in the city park around the corner. On the ground floor is the hippest restaurant in Alkmaar with a sunny terrace on the water.

The apartment is wonderfully private and equipped with every comfort.
