The Editors' Lodge

A great couple of nights stay in Romain's lovely Air BnB in beautiful gardens which surround it; overlooking their sheep grazing in the field. All great facilities with reflections of local character in the accommodation matching the photos. Lovely personal welcome and the flowers, jams, cold white wine in the fridge and freshly picked mushroom salad left for us on our return from our day out and book present from Romain's business when we left; all very much appreciated. Thank you. You even laid on four hot air ballons to pass in the evening visible from the house and terrace high above the valley...very entertaining!! Thank you for a great stay. We would love to visit again if we are in the area as there is so much to enjoy and would highly recommend you. Regards Madeline and Roger
An outdoor dining area is presented, featuring a round table with a terracotta pot at its center. Wooden chairs frame the table, and string lights are visible overhead. In the background, a hot air balloon floats above the green hills, adding to the serene view.

Very good stay. Nice and quiet accommodation with a beautiful view. Access to the accommodation for parking is a little tricky but doable. Close to shops, restaurants, walking activities. The amenities in the accommodation are very good and sufficient. I recommend it!
A vibrant field of sunflowers leads the eye towards a hilltop estate. The striking yellow hot air balloon floats in a clear blue sky, hovering above a historic building surrounded by greenery. The landscape reflects the charm of the Périgord region.

Beautiful villa on the banks of the Dordogne

Just finished a wonderful week at Paul's villa. It is beautiful and in a fantastic location. Pool is amazing! Direct access to the Dordogne from the back gate and a really handy river side cafe which sells salads/fish/chips/drinks etc. Villa was spotless and would have no hesitation in returning, in fact if I had the means I would love to buy it 😍😂 Communication from Paul/Elisa and Arthur perfect. If you are thinking of visiting Vezac, book this property!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bruno and Nicole’s place. The location was stunning with incredible views of the valley. A perfect cosy space which served as a perfect base to explore the surrounding area. A very unique place with a great comfortable feel. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Fontanelles dryer

Very well located cottage, 1/4 hour from magnificent castles. Amazing view of the cottage on 4 castles. The cottage is pleasant and well-equipped. The only drawback that didn't bother us: the staircase to the bedrooms is steep, which can be inconvenient for elderly people. We had a great time, the pool was nice for cooling off after hot days. Excellent hosting by François.

Nataliya and Tony's place is amazing. The house is located at a very quiet and peaceful area that is also only a few minutes from restaurants, bakery, and things to do. They are both amazing hosts: very friendly, very responsive, and have superb recommendations for things such as restaurants and activities.

Charming riverside home

SarahRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Absolutely fantastic week long stay with family at Mark's place in Dordogne. Right in the middle of La Roque Gageac, literally in the middle of the village, directly on the river, next door to a boulangerie, walking distance to canoe/kayak hire, brilliantly furnished kitchen with everything you could possibly need, excellent bathrooms, dining room overlooking the river with walk out/view point balconies. Couldn't fault it. Mark met us upon arrival to handover the keys and provide free parking permit a short walk away. Couldn't have been more helpful. Would 100% recommend for a visit to the key villages of the Dordogne. Easily accommodates 6 people.
