We are in the outskirts of a small hamlet in the district of Ostallgäu on the border with Upper Bavaria, very easy to reach via the B472. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in einer halben Stunde fußläufig bzw 5 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Fußweg führt am Inn entlang und ist gut mit Rädern zu befahren. Our hostel Fuchs und Hase is located in Oberjugel, a scattered settlement belonging to Johanngeorgenstadt, directly on the border with the Czech Republic. At an altitude of 850 m, pure nature, tranquility, unadulterated mountain meadows and many hiking and cycling trails await you. In winter, the Jugelloipe starts right behind the house with connection to the Kammloipe and Czech ski highway. Several ski slopes can be reached quickly by car. We are happy to provide tips.

We rent out our lovingly renovated Heustadl, from 1760, to individuals, small and large families and groups. The cozy and individual apartment is on the 2nd floor with a total of 2 rooms, fully equipped kitchen with dining area, a large bathroom and 2 balconies. In the courtyard there is a covered wooden barn with a corner bench, large table, barbecue area, bistro tables and fire bowls. Come and linger and celebrate there! On the first floor is the apartment "Korbhaus." On approx. 60 square meters, there are two separate bedrooms (each with double beds), a living room, kitchen with dining area and a bathroom with shower/toilet. A wooden staircase leads to the apartment. The front porch also invites you to linger. Since the basement is only used as a utility room, you will live in the house all by yourself - without being disturbed by other vacation guests in the same house.
