Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bastrop County

I would stay there again, comfortable and Jenna let us know about bad weather coming. We were there to be with family after going through some rough stuff. I would recommend it to other family.

The basketball hoops in the extra room is a nice touch and provided hours of entertainment. The place was spacious and perfect for what our family needed for the weekend.

Eirik’s Blue House is perfect for getting away from it all yet enjoying modern amenities in a clean, comfy home and a quiet, rural setting. We enjoyed walks on the property, our meals & time spent on the patio, bird watching & watching the full pink moon rise over the lake. Thank you, Eirik, for a lovely stay.

Me and a few friends came down to compete in an Amateur National Championship Disc Golf Tournament … this met our needs perfectly. Bien was super responsive and friendly.

Had a great stay here for a few nights to go watch the GT World Challenge at COTA and would definitely try to reserve this place again next time I come back!

This place was EXCELLENT!! My husband and I were having work done at our house so we spent the week here. It was just me, my husband, and our kitty cat(very pet-friendly!) and we’re pretty lowkey. The backyard was like a whole other world to escape to after our stressful day as educators. The hot tub, hammocks, and fire pit were so nice. Also this place is STOCKED!! Plenty of pots and pans, kitchen utensils, towels, dishes, even toiletries! We stayed in the master bedroom and the bed was so soft and comfy!! Monica was a great hostess! She was very responsive, gave detailed instructions for everything, and was very accommodating! The *one* thing is the neighborhood where the house is isn’t just the greatest, but they have a massive fence around the whole place, and not once did I ever feel unsafe. I feel like they planned for everything!

Daniel's instructions for check in were very clear and easy to follow! The house was exactly as described and was perfect for my weekend trip and was in a seemingly safe and quiet neighborhood.

It’s a small but cozy room. Quiet and about ten minutes out from the city. Their instructions on how to find the place were very accurate. There’s enough sound proofing that other guests in separate units will not bother you throughout the day. Water pressure is fantastic. Ryan was very friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay at Alwin’s Airbnb. It was nice and cozy. Everything that we would need for a several days stay was provided. Everything was clean and looked new. Highly recommend.

The stay was exactly as described and looked the same as the pictures. It was the perfect little spot for us to stay while stopping through for the night.

This apartment was perfect for our time in Texas! It was near family and quiet. It really helped to have it as a home base as we explored the areas around Austin. Obed was extremely responsive and a great host - we absolutely would stay here again.

Very good value especially if you need to use the airport. Had everything we needed and for a great price.

A beautifully decorated and well kept place conveniently located to restaurants and more.

This is a very special place, a hidden gem nestled in the trees in a very rural neighborhood in Bastrop/Cedar Creek. The canopy of trees overhead gives a lovely respite from the hot sun and opportunity to see lots of wildlife including squirrels, cardinals, hawks, and armadillos. Come, relax and get away from it all. Bastrop is only 10 minutes away for shopping, restaurants, gyms and bars, etc. And there is food delivery and Uber/Lyft there. Austin is a good distance away- physically and metaphorically. We had an absolutely lovely stay.

This is my second time to stay in unit C, which has an incredible wraparound balcony that overlooks the river bridge. The custom metal sculptural railing tells the history of Bastrop. Naseem’s family did an incredible job with restoration of the historical building and decoration of the units with a beautiful mix of antiques with modern furnishings. It is walkable to some of the best food, music, artisans and a really amazing bookstore! I’m glad Bastrop has rebounded from the COVID shutdown. We’ll be back!

We were in Bastrop for a wedding and opted for this place versus the hotel where the rest of the family stayed. We definitely made a good decision. The condo is in a great location and we walked around and explored downtown Bastrop without having to get in the car. Know that if you’re going for walkable/convenient, there’s going to be some noise. We found the provided white noise machine to be very helpful but if you’re super sensitive to sounds at night, you may want to bring some earplugs. Great place and we would stay again if in the area!
