Augustine was a great host. He was very friendly and proactive. The place was clean, private, and in a nice location overall.

The bunkhouse is a great rustic experience in the middle of a picturesque landscape of rolling hills and beautiful huge oaks. Our hosts were extremely responsive to our needs and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I would highly recommend staying here.

The host was super friendly and helpful. The home was easy to get into and lots of privacy. Great neighborhood on a lovely street in a welcoming town. Lots of history to check out. The town folk are so welcoming! Great places to eat! Will be coming soon!

I love no surprises and this lovely place was exactly as represented in the written description and the photos. It is a very comfortable and spacious accommodation. The hosts were helpful but unobtrusive and very flexible. They made some great recommendations for food and were so friendly and welcoming. I’d certainly recommend to my friends and look forward to staying there again.

This was my first time booking on my own and Ada & Gabriel offered a little extra help from the start. The communication was excellent, their instructions and offerings were very clear, and they were really kind. I loved my stay - I was alone and the property and space felt safe and cozy. They have two dogs that were so sweet and never even barked except when I entered the yard, which was great! Little details like q-tips, a variety of teas (and honey!), coffee, a sudoku book - all felt thoughtful and homey. I will definitely book Casa Azul again when I come back to Bastrop to see family. Cozy, perfect, and quick access to both north and south Austin without getting on I 35 and dealing with traffic!

As others have mentioned a perfect little get away. Close to the ren faire which was the purpose of location choice, but a gem of a find for other trips in the future. The cottage gave us great ideas for our own cottage to be built at a later time. Thank you for being a thoughtful host.

Incredible little get away spot, and such an adorable cozy little studio!! We loved the guesthouse so much. We were greeted by Ricardo’s outdoor kitty Cairo as soon as we arrived, and we loved seeing the chickens goats and sweet cattle dog as well! Ricardo is very friendly and easy to communicate with. 10/10, would definitely come back to stay next time we are in the area!

This is our 2nd time staying at the Private Cozy Hideaway. We booked this place, again, due to our fantastic first experience and we were just as happy with the second stay! From the personalized welcome snacks to the comfy furniture and the amazing back deck there is little I could offer to be improved. We heard owls in the evening and saw deer in the mornings. It was so peaceful and quiet that you would have a hard time not relaxing here! We will definitely stay here every time we visit family in the area and I could not recommend it more!

Ray & Lisa were wonderful hosts! Present enough to be helpful while allowing plenty of privacy to utilize their wonderful facilities! The beds were plenty comfortable. The saltwater pool w/ it's sunshades was perfect all day long!

The home was beautiful! Very clean and spacious. Magdalena was also very accommodating to our requests. I loved how clean the home was and the accessibility to local spots was great. Definitely look into booking here if you can!

Miguel’s place was great for our weekend trip. There was plenty of parking for us as we converged from three different cities for the weekend. The decor inside and out was beautiful and felt very welcoming. There was Jenga and Monopoly for us to play upon returning to the home. When we had questions for Miguel he was quick to respond. I would definitely recommend Miguel’s for anyone looking to have a quiet getaway.

This is a simple, safe place to stay. Very clean. No bugs. As the description states, there are no amenities, not even a mug or plate. However, the hosts are very friendly and lent us some to use anyway. I would stay again.

This super cute Airbnb is in the heart of Smithville and close to everything. The place looks and feels brand new and exceptionally clean. The decor, the coffee, the great TV’s, and ample space for two was perfect. It’s a garage type apartment behind an older home and has stairs leading up. Would definitely stay again! Thank you, Troy!

Joe’s airbnb was great! My bf & I stayed here for the weekend for a small trip to Sherwood Forest & it was perfect! It’s perfect for a small weekend away, very secluded & quiet. The location was also good as well. It felt like everything we would need was less than a 10 minute drive away. Would definitely stay here again!
