Vacation rentals with a pool in Bastimentos Island

I pretty much have traveled all over the world and this is my favorite place I’ve ever stayed in. The balconies are beautiful and spacious. The pool area was perfect, kitchen is big if you like to cook. The little dock is so peaceful. It’s very peaceful and quiet but not too far from other restaurants and bars. The little beach bar next door is adorable with decent food and great drinks. We loved skully’s bar which was about a 15 minute walk down the road. To get into town is very easy. We used Jose’ as our taxi driver which was recommended by Connor. Also, I highly recommend getting a private boat for the tours of the other islands. Connor gave us a good recommendation. Bogo was our captain and he took us wherever we wanted to go. I don’t usually go back to same destination twice but I will definitely be back here again.

This is the place! I stayed here during 2024 for several months running my business entirely on Vidans Starlink, enoying a fully offgrid luxury gem built with mediterranean style. All interior is high quality, the kitchen is more than spacious and invites for hangouts after a day snorkelling around the properties private beach. There is nothing to miss here and Rubiel the housekeeper living close by will occasionally get you fresh Lagostas right out of the reef or Bananas from the jungle. You can also ask Rubiel to take you snorkelling out to Bird island with his boat. The house comes with plenty of privacy and an abundance of jungle around you. parrots, monkeys and dolphins pass by and the bench on the shore facing Costa Ricas mountains allows for stunning views into sunset. If you dont't have a car, a taxi connects well into Bocas town for 25 bucks and there is local bus within 15min walk. 6 out of 5 stars and I will be back later this year for an extended stay with friends.

From start to finish we had an incredible stay at Coral Bay. The location is beautiful and the accommodation is just perfect. Alfred kindly organised our airport transfer and also a day trip to go snorkelling and sloth spotting! We left feeling so well looked after, Alfred and his team really cared that we had a fantastic trip. It’s very overwhelming deciding which island / accommodation to go for in Bocas Del Toro, but I can promise you nothing will beat Coral Bay!

We really enjoyed Ron's place. Everyone there was extremely helpful. The property manager, Augusto was extremely helpful in setting up anything we wanted to do. Breakfast was prepared for us by Augusto's wife each morning, and she is a great cook. The pictures do not do the property justice. It is spacious and spotless. Each day while we were out seeing the island, the house was cleaned and our laundry was done for us. The pool is perfect. Bluff beach is by far the prettiest beach on the island, there is no need to go anywhere else if you just want to lounge on the beach. There are local restaurants within walking distance. Be advised, you will need to take taxis to other attractions on the island. Roundtrip taxi to and from town is around $45-$50. That said, I will gladly pay the taxi fee to stay at a place outside all the noise of Bocas Town, especially one as nice as this one. If you are looking for peace and quiet, and a beach all to yourself, this is the place to stay.

My family had an amazing stay at Michel's home (2 adults, 2 kids under 10yo). The house is right on the water with beautiful beaches and snorkeling just meters away. The arrival logistics were easy: We were picked up at the airport and driven straight to the office. Did some quick grocery shopping, grabbed a bite to eat, and then got on the boat to Al Natural. The resort area was great for kids since the water is fairly shallow off the beach and protected from big waves. We particularly appreciated: Readily available gear (paddle boards, ping pong, snorkeling gear, etc.). Amazing, large porch for relaxing. Ability to easily book excursions and transport (chocolate farm, scuba, bat caves, etc.). Cooking at the house or signing up for delicious meals at the main resort building. Kind staff that were welcoming to our kids. My only recommendation is bringing enough cash for excursions. We didn't plan it out well enough and were down to our last balboa/dollar at the end.

Olivia’s place is as amazing as she is! She was so helpful, friendly and very responsive. The house is perfect for viewing wildlife - we saw sloths every day in the trees in the yard! Walkable to many places to eat and explore or relax at the beach. The house is off grid so we had power and hot water even when our friends nearby didn’t. Great WiFi, fully stocked kitchen. We even enjoyed refilling the hummingbird feeder on the porch to watch them constantly come and go! Helpful info: It’s about a $20ish taxi to get to town depending on number of people from the house or you can take a little bus that leaves from Bom Bom.

Lina was a spectacular host, she did not lose detail in helping us with any queries made, she responded immediately and was attentive to all our needs. Regarding the place is the same as the photographs, spacious, clean, tidy, had what you need for a vacation exploring the area, the pool is the ideal size for the place. I would come back again without thinking twice !!!!

It was hard to understand where and how they picked us up since we waited for a good time for them at the airport and we didn't know if they were going to come for us as we had requested, but they arrived and then everything was amazing. Comfortable, clean. They cared for us very well, they responded to all our needs. They even accompanied Colon, to the hospital, a guest who needed to be cared for by a doctor. We were advised super well with the tours where we were served super well! We hired a tour outside the hotel, with a better price than they recommended and it was great! Sergio and Mario if I don't remember their names, they were very friendly and very helpful. excellent attention on their part. It was one of them who accompanied one of us to the doctor and spent the day with the selflessly. We were offered extra cleaning as a courtesy. all super recommended. Comfortable beds, were not extra large, but comfortable and the house had everything we could possibly need. We lent a grill for cooking outside
