Vacation rentals with beach access in Bastimentos Island

Lucas was helpful with instructions and travel trips pror to my arrival. He and Gloria were very friendly and welcoming my entire stay. The apartment was just as described and provided everything I needed. It was great to see, hear and experience the wildlife and Lucas sharing his knowledge of the animals. It was a wonderful a relaxing 5 days. I look forward to visiting again!

The apartment is a rare find in Bocas, fully equipped, AC in the living room/kitchen, it has everything you might need, very comfortable, Raúl is an excellent host, thanks for letting us stay at your place.

Beautiful little apartment super central. All the amnesties are available, especially a lot of cooking tools. Host super helpful and friendly ❤️ We felt extremely comfortable, definitely recommended for Bocas del Toro stay

The space is a little dream. About 100 meters from the beautiful beach. The beach is clean and deserted. It has a restaurant nearby and a cool bar. The apartment is very cosy and the kitchen well equipped. Since there is no shopping nearby, it is worth shopping before arriving in Bocas. The cooking here is very fun. Birds, a sloth and lots of butterflies live in the garden. Very nice and perfect for anyone who is looking for some peace in nature. We'd love to recommend it to everyone 🥰

We had a pleasant stay at Ricardo's and his family's. La casita is located on their property in a beautiful garden. The neighborhood is quiet and yet 12 minutes by taxi or scooter from Bocas. You have the small restaurant Dosha 3 min walk which is excellent or Skully's 5 min walk which will also allow you to rent scooters, quad bikes, bikes etc… Ricardo is a great host. He was very responsive, considerate, friendly while respecting our privacy. It even allowed us to arrive well before check-in and leave well after check-out! Thanks again Ricardo;-)

We absolutely loved this Airbnb. Just finished 4 nights there and it was exactly our kind of place. Nicer than the photos. Tastefully funky and interesting. Both beds were comfortable. Had everything we need. Right on the water with nice trees and birds. Hummingbirds fluttering through. Walk to anywhere in Bocas Town. Benson was a great host, very responsive and helpful. We will 100% book here again. Fantastic value too.

Very happy with the house, really the location is excellent, you can walk to the center, the house was very nice, safe and comfortable, everything was very organized, the treatment of the splendid host was very attentive and communicative, the rooms were super comfortable, in general the house was excellent for us because we are a varied family and the fact of having comforts made us feel at home. Utensils, bedding, basic amenities, internet, cloths, bathrooms with amenities , air conditioning, order, in short everything actually met our expectations and more. I definitely recommend hosting and coming back I would definitely not hesitate to contact them again. Thank you very much for making us feel at home

This was amazing! I really enjoyed the location and the sounds of nature—a beautiful space to relax. Beach is right there! There are a couple of things to fix, but I can understand given the remote location. There was a smell in the cabin that was not too pleasant and wouldn't go away. The large terrace doors in the living room were locked, and it would have been nice to use them for ventilation and convenience. The shower pressure is not so good. A suggestion: ask for more towels and extra bedsheets since they don't dry well in the jungle weather. The bed was very comfortable, the space in the house is very beautiful, and the kitchen had awesome pans for cooking. They offered basics like salt and oil for cooking, which is highly appreciated. The host was responsive, and I would definitely come back!

Jennis' place was exactly as described in the middle of the jungle, very private, close to nature and as in the photos. The cabin is super equipped and you have everything you need. There are so many different animals to watch. The hut is for real nature lovers and gives you a real jungle feeling from the humidity to the wonderful soundscape and the authentic rainwater outdoor shower. Jenni is a great hostess, always super accessible and so eager to do everything to ensure you have a pleasant stay. We definitely recommend the place for anyone who wants a few days of absolute peace and nature :)

Like every other review this place is incredible. We didn’t want to leave! Our tips would be - take more cash than you think you’ll need and a little more food than you think you’ll need. 😆 we ate at the restaurant one evening which was lovely and their chef is amazing but otherwise it was easy to fend for ourselves in the incredible setting. Touring the community is amazing (take your bug spray!) and the other outings were equally as memorable. We also toured the cacao farm in Dolphin Bay which was great! We were there with our twin boys who are 7 and not a moment of boredom! The house kitty was adorable and the boys named her Tinta (Valimir said she didn’t have a name yet so was happy she got one 😆) The boys are ready to go back!

The host on site was Patricio and he was very kind and helpful. The unit had all the amenities listed. I would have like to have a microwave.

The Jungle House at Playa Bluff was a great getaway destination for our 2 families, with 4 adults and 6 children, ages 4-11. The pool was great and the sleeping arrangements worked well for us. There is a decent kitchen, but we mostly ate at nearby restaurants or on our daily adventures. The house is about a 25 min taxi ride from the main town and the road can get soupy, but any of the truck taxis can easily get to the house. The beach is stunning, although not great for swimming with rip tides and currents. The host was super responsive to all questions and I would highly recommend this house. We even saw sloths and monkeys right around the house.

We really enjoyed Ron's place. Everyone there was extremely helpful. The property manager, Augusto was extremely helpful in setting up anything we wanted to do. Breakfast was prepared for us by Augusto's wife each morning, and she is a great cook. The pictures do not do the property justice. It is spacious and spotless. Each day while we were out seeing the island, the house was cleaned and our laundry was done for us. The pool is perfect. Bluff beach is by far the prettiest beach on the island, there is no need to go anywhere else if you just want to lounge on the beach. There are local restaurants within walking distance. Be advised, you will need to take taxis to other attractions on the island. Roundtrip taxi to and from town is around $45-$50. That said, I will gladly pay the taxi fee to stay at a place outside all the noise of Bocas Town, especially one as nice as this one. If you are looking for peace and quiet, and a beach all to yourself, this is the place to stay.

I just finished a month long stay at Allison and Sergio’s rental. The home was exactly as described, very clean and had everything available you may need-pots, pans, toiletries, etc. The downstairs area is open air, which makes you feel you are a part of the lovely surroundings. I saw beautiful birds and one day some monkeys in the trees near the balcony upstairs. I was worried about bugs in the downstairs space but there are fans, which helps and never felt like a big issue. This is also a great spot, outside the business of town but close enough to get there quickly for dinner/groceries. I rented a scooter for the month and this was a great way to get around. Also, having air conditioning made my stay very comfortable. Finally, one of the best part of the stay was meeting Allison and Sergio. They were so friendly, helpful and gave privacy despite being nearby. They are lovely and wonderful to deal with. Don’t hesitate to stay here. I was thrilled with my choice!

Our host was very helpful. it was a perfect location for our group. the view from the large deck/outdoor seating area was beautiful. kitchen is very large and well equipped. rooms were comfortable and clean. all this and over the water. I recommend this place %100.
