Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Bahía Herradura

We kicked off our honeymoon in Costa Rica at Axel's place for 4-nights. When we arrived, it was the evening so it was dark out. The following morning we were totally blown away by the beauty of this lovely farm! Gorgeous green trees, flowers, monsteras, & mountains are surrounding you. The view is spectacular (even when it is raining or cloudy). The house has hammocks to relax in, a kitchen equipped with everything you need to make a delicious meal, a very comfy bed, and views to die for! Toucan-spotting over coffee in the morning was a highlight. Axel was not only a great host but a lovely person to chat with! If you are looking for a more remote Costa Rican experience, this is the place for you. Highly recommend and are definitely planning to come back to this wonderful place! Thanks again Axel!!

Very nice house located in a gated condominium. The space of the house was very well thought and offers eveything you need for a pleasant stay. A plus is that our 2 pugs were welcome and Marisol and Manuel even had water and cookies waiting for them. This place ia close to Herradura supermarkets, restaurants and beaches. I would recommend this place and definitely looking forward to stay there again soon.

Roger’s place is a gem in Herradura. The backyard is a tropical paradise, so many beautiful birds and wildlife. The pool is beautiful and Roger’s Casa was perfect for me. Very close to the beach and great birding spots. It is a very safe place, nice neighbors, very clean and I enjoyed my stay immensely. Roger is very responsive and proactive. I highly recommend this beautiful house in Herradura.

Tuvimos un viaje familiar y la estadía fue muy placentera. La casa es bien representada en las fotos, con mucho espacio y a menos de 1km del Automercado. Alvaro y Rosio fueron de gran ayuda con cualquier petición y la comunicación estuvo genial.

Tuvimos una estancia tranquila y muy agradable. Disfrutamos de las áreas recreativas del condominio (algunas necesitaban reserva para su uso, pero se coordinó sin problema con el anfitrión). El anfitrión siempre atento para nuestro ingreso y consultas.

Una casa hermosa y muy cómoda, nos encantó el lugar, la atención y disposición del anfitrión para evacuar las dudas y estar al pendiente de todo. Muy especial el detalle de la botella de vino. Muy recomendable y esperamos regresar pronto.

Definitivamente una casa con excelente energía. Uno se siente bienvenido por la atención que Casie ha puesto a los detalles. Cada espacio de la casa tiene absolutamente todo lo que uno necesita, desde repelente, té, aceite de oliva, un escritorio con artículos de oficina para trabajar tranquilamente, el aire en perfectas condiciones, luces para todos los momentos y necesidades, closets con muchas tohallas, ropa de cama, hasta agua embotellada (eso lo valoré muchísimo) y muchos detalles positivos más.

Mi estadía fue maravillosa. El lugar es tal como se muestra en las fotos: limpio, acogedor y con todo lo necesario para sentirse cómodo, una piscina deliciosa y cuartos muy muy acogedores . La comunicación con el anfitrión fue siempre amable y atenta. Agradezco mucho los detalles y la hospitalidad. ¡Sin duda volvería!

This place is new and very nice. It is just as described. The condo was very comfortable and clean and has everything you need. It is right on the main drag and walking to restaurants and shops is very easy. Also, there are always security on site who are very friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend.

Very nice condo! decoration of the apartment was very appealing. Everything was super comfortable specially if you’re traveling with kids,…we would have liked to stay longer! Thank you very much especially for answering all of our questions within minutes!

Our stay at Damien’s place was perfect for our family. The place was clean, in a great location (walkable to many restaurants, the beach, stores, etc) and access to the pool was perfect for us and our 3 year old. Damien was an incredible host and went above and beyond to make our stay easy. He helped us with local tours, recommendations, and set us up with items for our daughter specially. The kind of host you wish for every time! Would absolutely stay again and would highly recommend to anyone!

Jeff was incredible! Very responsive and we loved his recommendations. The unit was very clean, steps from Jaco beach, and centrally located to multiple restaurants, shopping, and a supermarket.

I can’t say enough good things about this condo! The place was spotless, modern, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay week long stay. But the real highlight? The pool! It’s even more beautiful than the pictures—crystal clear, surrounded by lush greenery, and the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach. The location was ideal—just a short drive to restaurants, shops, and the beach, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. And the host? Absolutely amazing. Super responsive and friendly. You can tell they truly care about making your stay perfect. We’re already planning our return!

Deuxième sejour ici et toujours aussi fantastique ! À cause d'une petite tempête nous avons malheureusement manqué de wifi pendant environ une journée et demie mais cela n'était pas une nécessité pour nous. Le logement était magnifique et impeccable. Merci pour tout !

I had a great time at Rose’s place - everything was as described. The apartment had everything I needed, it was clean, the air conditioning worked well. Rose was a fantastic, hospitable host. I got quite sick the day before leaving and she helped me with some medicines and allowed me to check out a bit later to help me recover. If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable place, I’d definitely recommend staying at Rose’s place.

Parece raro opinar mucho sobre la casa. Ni siquiera estuve frente a ella Tuve algo muy duro para mi familia e inesperado por la muerte de mi perrita antes de llegar y por eso no conocí la casa pero por lo que hablé con Julian y la aptitud que él tubo puedo decir que es una persona honesta que me ayudó en lo que pudo y más pienso que una persona así lo que pone sobre su casa es 100% cierta Espero conocerla algún días Y gracias Julian

Muy linda la casa, limpia, grande, la piscina honda, el área de afuera súper cómoda. El bosque alrededor demasiado lindo, vimos una familia enorme de tepezcuintles cruzar la calle y fue demasiado especial. No se porque dicen que fue difícil llegar, las indicaciones para llegar fueron muy claras y encontramos la casa sin ningún problema. A 2min en carro de la costanera. Excelente ubicación y en general excelente find!
