Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Bahía Drake

This is a very special place. The whole property is designed for absorbing the plants and animals of the Osa peninsula. We saw aracari, howler monkeys, spider monkeys, poison dart frogs, iguanas, toucans, macaws, and many other species of reptiles, amphibians, insects, and birds. And of course we enjoyed the quiet company of Raymond the caiman. The house’s second floor veranda is a lovely place to sit. If you are visiting the Osa peninsula for watching wildlife and enjoying the rainforest ecosystem, it’s worth it to stay here for 5 days, maybe longer.

An excellent place, Eligia and her wife are amazing hosts. The place is extremely clean, furnished and equipped. It's quite quiet, the air conditioning and ventilation are in perfect condition. It is located close to all the attractions of the area and shopping places. It's very safe and friendly neighborhood. We truly hope to return. They are one of the best destinations in the country.

Frédéric was one of the nicest host we had in Costa Rica. He is very thoughtful and has the best ideas how to spend the day in the area (and grows the most delicious pineapples 😍). At the same time he was super respectful to our privacy. He truly made this stay an unforgettable experience. The Airbnb itself is very well maintained with a stunning backyard that allows you to watch the birds especially during sunrise. This is a great spot to visit Drake's Bay and Cocovado NP and I'd totally would come back!

Mike was available before we came and during the stay. The place was as described or better. Mike also knows everybody in the area which was very helpful.

The place is too incredible, we found everything without difficulty, the instructions were super clear, the house was very cozy, with descriptions and photos that match the place, I recommend the place 100%.

Ruth and Michael's place is not just great, practical and clean, they did everything and now to make us feel at home. Osa is such a great place with so much to do and this house is ideally located to explore all of it. We really hope to be back!

I honestly have this on my top of spots in CR when I really need to relax and chill. Although, location is far away from the GAM is totally worthy to go there and disconnect! You will be surrounded by nature, 10 min away from where you can find all you need. Also, Ideal if you are planning to visit Corcovado. The place is amazing! Only consideration is that there is not laundry at the house but you can do it in town. Carlos and Marcela are super hosts! They care about you, and you can feel it! They will help you with anything you need, from basic things at the house up to book tours and suggestions of things to do!

We felt very, very comfortable with Meidys and her lovely family! The garden full of flowers, trees and fruits attracts a variety of fauna. The house is clean, nicely decorated, with everything and more than it needs. Comfortable beds, superbly equipped kitchen. Fresh, always clean pool - the kids were almost impossible to get out of it! The location is ideal, quiet, everything within walking distance. But it's perfect thanks to this incredibly great hostess. We always felt very welcome, thank you very much!

Outstanding stay in every possible way. Sue and Joe have created an oasis in the jungle. The lodging itself is beautiful and matched the photos but what sets Southern Drakes Lodge apart is the service. We are a family of 5 and never have we felt so taken care of in all our travels. From the moment we booked to when it was time to depart, Sue and Joe took care of every detail from taxis, laundry, tours (thank you Elsa!), amazing meals (Thai and Ellie prepared breakfast and dinner that were as beautiful as they were delicious). Five days was not enough but we all left with a sense of gratitude that we were able to experience the OSA peninsula and stay in such a special place with amazing hosts.

Surah is a super friendly and nice person. She was extremely attentive throughout the stay. He resolved some issues or questions we had super quickly. Extremely flexible and very helpful. The place is really central and I think it has the best location. The airport is very close (you can even walk there), restaurants nearby, and the beach and pier are very close. An ideal place to stay, especially if you're going to Corcovado. 100% recommended
