Absolutely amazing spot! We felt right at home from the moment we arrived ! The grounds were just gorgeous and full of wildlife! We loved the outdoor kitchen which is so roomy and lets you hear all the monkeys and birds! The kayaking near the place was fantastic! We had fun fishing and seeing all the mangroves! We can’t say enough good things about the hosts who cooked many delicious meals for us and were just generally amazing! Room was perfect and comfortable with great decks for looking out over the grounds! Just a wonderful experience in some of the best natural surroundings!

I was fortunate enough to find this place on a YouTube video by a vacation blog. They had availability for the 3 nights we needed so I booked the spot! What a perfect place to stay! They made our boat taxi reservations from Sierpe, picked us up at the dock to take us to the room, booked us an amazing night tour and Corcovado tour and arranged our departure travel. The home was a perfect size and the balcony on the back was perfect! We loved everything about this home!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Aracari Nest. The view from the balcony was absolutely amazing! You can watch so many animals and birds and the sunset of course. Shane and Kathy were extremely helpful and welcoming. They even provided water, eggs, toast, and popcorn upon our arrival. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, making it easy to cook and feel at home. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature.

Alex’s place is amazing! The place itself, the bathroom and the kitchen are very spacious (even better than showed in pictures) and were super clean. Having breakfast by the balcony is an amazing experience! Alex is super friendly and helpful if you want to go to Corcovado or do other activities!

Absolutely spectacular in every way! The suite was light and airy, incredible views, stunning architecture. Peaceful surroundings. Joe and Susannah are real gems and we truly loved getting to know them (and the dogs and cat). The food was exceptional. Lots to do in Drake Bay: we barely scratched the surface after being there for 4 nights. We would absolutely stay there again.

This house is great! The pool is the perfect size and has a platform shallow enough you can sunbathe on or kids can play on. Perfect for a family to enjoy. The main bedroom has an AC unit so you can stay comfortable while you sleep. Overall really impressed with this house. The caretakers are really nice people and happy to give local recs and can help book tours if needed.

We really enjoyed the stay. We did 3 tours and loved them. We even saw a tapir during the horseback tour. Debra and Idner were very attentive, always in touch and flexible. Idner helped us with the tours, and he set up the bathroom for us to use after leaving since a tour ended late. It's far by car, but it was worth it. The area is recommended and staying with Debra and Idner is recommended.

Richie was super helpful both before and during our stay / the pool and restaurant areas are gorgeous - with beautiful birds at late afternoon - Richie had an AC unit installed in our bedroom prior to arrival which was greatly appreciated coming from Michigan - would recommend having a car as the area is quite hilly and will want one to get to local areas. We stayed in villa 10 and it had everything we needed and was very private. There is an onsite hiking trail and yoga also available. Nature and bird lovers paradise

The Lion house is great. We stayed for a week. It’s a great home base for exploring the Gulf and Corcovado. There are monkeys, coatis, toucans and macaws every day on the trail down the road. There is no real beach over on this side of puerto Jimenez, but the mangroves and the river are great for fishing and wildlife watching. The AC in the bedroom works great! I would love to stay again someday.
