Vacation rentals with a kayak in Bahía Drake

This was such a neat place to stay. We weren't really sure about staying on a farm, but the rooms were very nice, and we loved moo-ing at the cows! The food was outstanding and the hosts (Cira, Monica and Santiago) were so kind. They made sure that your stay was perfect. The cabins were very quiet and serene. A bit warm during the day, but, the fans they provided actually made it cool at night. It's about a 25 minute drive to Carate Beach, on the Pacific Ocean. We would definitely consider staying here again!!

We live in Costa Rica, and even so, this was a magical escape for us. Our 8 and 10 year olds loved the horseback ride, waterfall hike, and mangrove tours. One of our favorite trips ever!

As good as it gets!!! If you want to experience the end of the world and still get your gourmet meal at the same time this is it. The place is a dream for travelers who want to enjoy what's left of traveling off the beaten path. Absolutely no roads anywhere close, you have to boat there and that alone makes it special but the the welcoming of the staff and the pure beauty around is just a bliss. If you can make it there please do yourself a favor and stick around one or two days more than you thought. We loved it (family of 4 with young children)

A truly exciting and unique experience! The outdoor shower and toilet added a real sense of adventure, and waking up to the sounds of monkeys was simply unforgettable. There's even a small jungle trail to explore, making the stay feel like a real nature getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something special and a bit wild!

Casa Rio Sierpe exceeded our expectations. The property was in amazing shape for a being so remotely located. The house was very nice with luxury finishes and expertly maintained. It provides an amazing adventurous experience that is still very luxury. The staff especially was spectacular and welcoming. You should book dinners with Dolly every night and definitely take advantage of the mangrove tour and night hike. We would recommend this house to anyone and look forward to returning.

Saballo Lodge is an incredible place, set in beautiful surroundings in the jungle with a river plunge swimming pool, where birds and lizards chill on the rocks next to you, it's own jetty and free boats for kayaking on the river Sierpe, hammock hut and lovely cabins. Fireflies light up the grounds at dusk as you walk to the on site restaurant for dinner. We stayed with a toddler and after a month in CR, this was by far the most beautiful place we stayed. Breakfast is provided and Angelica and Henri were massive helpful with getting tours booked up and sorting everything out, despite our halting Spanish. We went on a mangrove tour, saw crocs, squirrel monkeys and more birds than were in the guidebook. We also went on night tours and saw an Oncilla, Opposum and frogs, as well as crocs on the way to the waterfall. We went canoeing in the river with our daughter and saw monkeys up close. Whilst theres no aircon in the lodges, we didnt need it and were fine with just the fans.

Carlos was very friendly and helpful and the place was lovely. Highly recommend.
