The Englishman's house

Thanks to the house's previous inhabitant, an endearing Englishman, we were able to make our project a reality: an old, charmingly restored house: one of the oldest houses in the town that we personally restored with great affection and in which we tried to maintain the original elements (wooden beams, staircase, stone arch) without losing any comfort. Its white color invites tranquility and reminds you how close it is to the sea.

What a marvelous stay. Better than expected. First of all, Maria is an excellent host. She is a very sweet lady and gave us a wonderful welcoming. She gave us useful information about the surrounding area and great recommendations. She has the kitchen stocked up with breakfast essentials and every morning she had a surprise for us. The home is perfect for a short or long stay. It's very comfortable and with all the basic needs. The location was a wonderful surprise. Upon entering, you pass by the family's farm that serves as a refuge for dogs. There are horses, donkies, goats, pigs and chickens. On the other side of the large property you find the cottage. A peaceful oasis. With an excellent terrace to have breakfast or a late night glass of wine. I highly recommend Maria's place. It is worth it and proceeds go to the animal refuge.

My stay was wonderful. Luis, the host, was incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. From day one he helped me with my bags and shared excellent gastronomic recommendations that really made a difference in my experience. Every morning began with delicious coffee and a breakfast that made my day easier and made me feel cared for. Our stay in Barcelona was excellent, and the accommodation perfectly met our needs. The location is very good, with easy access to the subway and key places in the city. The apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet. From the first moment, communication with Mile was prompt and friendly. We arrived early and he very kindly allowed us to leave our bags, which was a great relief to be able to start enjoying the city without worries. Barbara was a great host! The house was lovely and located in an excellent area with lots of restaurants/bars but also being quiet. Only things to note is that if you don’t like cats, it might not be the house for you however if you like cats, Pixel and Glibert are so friendly and will happily cuddle up with you. Overall, we had a great trip and would 100% stay with Barbara again

We had a great stay a « La Caseta » (the place is very very quiet) but most of all, we really enjoyed the hospitality of Ferran and Sandra managing the place. We had dinner at the restaurant every night we were there and every dinner was excellent 👌 we wish them a very good future and will certainly make a good advertising of the place 😀
