Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Babino Polje

The view is a 15/10 and Irena was a great hostess! She was very proactive and took great care of me when I got sick. She made an extra trip with linens and had plenty of suggestions on where to get additional supplies. Even before I felt up for leaving the apartment, the view was healing in and of itself! Irena was also immediately helpful (at 10:30 at night!) in getting on the phone with the internet provider to reset the WiFi after a brief power outage that affected the entire bay. She got us up and running in just a few minutes! So grateful we stayed here!

We enjoyed the stay with the family, and we regretted not having booked more days, because it was cozy in the apartment, and lots of experiences within driving distance. The apartment's terrace had a magnificent view of the sea, so we enjoyed our meals. On the second day, when we got home in the evening, our dog got out of the door without us seeing it - it had discovered a cat and ran after it, even though the cat disappeared up an outside staircase and up to the roof, suddenly our dog had landed on the roof without being able to get down again. The hostess helped to search, and luckily she discovered where it was, so I could go up and save it :-) We'll be happy to come back another time.

We were two adults in Nikolina's house for seven days. The house is small but absolutely beautiful and authentic. With beautiful views of the bay. The house is not as shielded from view as we thought, because there are two houses on each side and a dock quite close to Nikolina's house and dock, and there is a path from the neighboring houses that runs right next to the outdoor shower. But if you're looking for a quiet place, this is perfect. Clean and nice. And a small outbuilding with a washing machine. When we ran out of coffee capsules for the coffee machine, Nikolina sent coffee with the ferry.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation located right next to the sea, literally a few steps away. The apartment was well equipped, the kitchen surprised us beyond our expectations, we found everything we needed in it (oven, stove, many plates, bowls, cutlery, pots, ladles, glasses, ...). Everything was clean and perfectly prepared. The double bed was very comfortable. The host Matej responded quickly and promptly to messages, provided an accurate description of where the accommodation is located. The host Maria was already waiting for us at the place, she showed and explained us everything, gave us many recommendations where to go on the island of Mljet. Much appreciated the care and kind attitude of host Maria, she adds value to this nice place. We had a great time and would love to come back.

Stayed a full week in the apartment! A very nice place to explore the lower part of Croatia. Beach within walking distance. Nice place to park your car. Wonderfully cool and clean apartment with fantastic views! I want to go back!

My whole family was obsessed with this place. The adults loved the beautiful scenery and the peacefulness and the kids loved the hot tub and the swings. The house is adorable and very nice and the views were even better than the pictures. We loved meandering around Humac and being close to so many interesting small villages to explore. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat on the island of Hvar, you will be hard pressed to find something better than Mario’s place.

My wife and I stayed here with parents and family for the first time and we will be back for sure. The house is really unique, beach is basicly in front of house. Everything is so peacfull and place is brand new . Hosts were very welcoming , provided everything we needed !

Located about 30 mins by bus outside Dubrovnik it us definitely worth the extra effort. The view from the patio is stunning and there is everything you need provided. If you are looking to escape the manic main areas and don't want an all-inclusive experience this is it. the villa is on a main route direct to the old town and if you buy the dubrovnik pass the bus is free. There is a faily steep walk and a fair few steps to reach the villa so you need to be fit but you can use bolt or taxi to the property. great value for money

Sejla the property manager was very helpful and kind to us. The apartment was spacious and clean. The best part of the apartment is the amazing view, you can see the old bridge from both the patio and the living room. The apartment is right around the corner from the old town and in the ideal location for enjoying Mostar. We would recommend this apartment to anyone!

We had a wonderful stay at this seaview apartment! The view is absolutely magnificent — waking up to the sea every morning was a dream. The apartment itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. The location is perfect, just a short walk to great restaurants and everything you might need. Gorana was very friendly and welcoming, making check-in smooth and the whole experience even better. Highly recommended — we'd love to come back!

Truly just a perfect stay. You can’t go wrong with a listing that has hundreds of 5-star reviews. The best part was the incredible VIEW!! Coffee on the balcony every morning was a huge highlight. Other perks: the house was clean, organized, clutter free, and functional. Few people check all the boxes of hosting like Emilio. He met us at the bottom of the steps and carried our suitcases up, arranged transfer from and to the airport (one being at 4:30 am), provided coffee, wine, toast etc. It was so nice to have essentials after arriving to our first stop straight from the USA. The stairs up from old town are tough as others said. We did them once and then took Uber after that (8-13 usd) so figure that into your budget. We did walk down most times, even that can be strenuous. But totally worth it for the view. The stairs from the street to the house are manageable (I’m 6.5 months pregnant so I wasn’t sure based on other reviews). One of our favorite Airbnb stays to date!

Ivana's apartment was perfect. 3 beautiful bedrooms with air conditioning as well as the small living room. The large terrace has a splendid view of the bay which is just magical. Communication was very easy. Ivana's brother picked us up at the ferry exit to follow him to the apartment. We were able to leave our car downstairs. It was a few exceptional days on the island of Mljet which is wild but in our eyes the most beautiful. We also took advantage of the deckchairs reserved right in front. Thanks Ivana

Ivana was always very quick in responding to any questions we had. The place was very clean, spacious and the view from the balcony was by far the best part of the place. It was an easy 15 minute bus ride the the old town and when you came back the whole area was peaceful. Lots of restaurants to choose from on the walkway, beach a few minute walk. I would highly recommend Ivana’s place.

We had a wonderful 3 nights in Dubrovnik staying at Jasna’s apartment. The apartment is spotlessly clean and exactly as it looks in the photos and is in a great location with a beautiful view over the old town. Only a short 10 mins walk into Old Town where there are loads of restaurants and bars. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Jasna is a lovely lady and we would definitely book her apartment again. We were looked after by Dina's cousin Antea, who was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She looked out for us and made sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation was well equipped and spotlessly clean and comfortable. The view down to the harbour from the living room window and outside seating area was lovely. It was a five minute walk down to the harbour with its selection of restaurants and a supermarket - a few more minutes walking back up because you have a slope to climb, but that should not deter anyone who is averagely fit. We took a water taxi from Lumbarda harbour right to the edge of pedestrianised Korcula Old Town, which cost 15 euros return and ran every 30 minutes. This was nicer than going by road and not too unreasonable considering that parking anywhere near the town costs 5 euros an hour. The Old Town is beautiful and a more relaxing, less touristy and so more atmospheric version of Dubrovnik with lots of nice art studios.

Amazing! They allowed an early check in and even allowed me to drop my bags off earlier! Very responsive and friendly.

Perfect location, great for 3 of us. Useful amenities. But what stood out were Iva’s detailed recommendations and Irina’s incredible helpfulness. Met us to guide us to place, showed us around the town and recommended places, even came back at 7:00am to help us catch an Uber when we left. The two sisters are absolutely wonderful.

Dubrovnik is beautiful and so is Luko’s place. The view from the balcony is the highlight. The house is spacious and clean. I especially like the decor it has personal touches, from the wall paintings to the vintage cameras. There is a cafe & supermarket nearby. Although it’s quite a walk to and from the old town but we didn’t mind as we enjoyed our morning and afternoon walks looking at houses & the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Ivo’s apartment in Lumbarda. The location is perfect and the photos struggle to capture the beauty of view you get from the front terrace (there are two terraces!). Nothing separates you from the sea apart from the local road to the centre of town. There are a couple of very small sandy beaches in the town but 15 minutes walk to a beautiful large sandy beach. If you have a car we recommend Pupnatska Luka as our favourite beach - windy small road to get there but its worth it! Ivo and his wife were perfect hosts - lovely to deal with and very helpful. The apartment is bright open and spotless with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would love to come back in the future.

Everything was good. The location is very convenient: close to the bus station, taxi stand, and within walking distance to attractions. A perfect choice for a short stay!
