The lodge was stunning, beautifully decorated and furnished, lots of space. The kitchen was lovely to use and the lounge area very comfy. The porch area was well furnished with a choice of seating areas. A lovely place to stay.

Great place in a quiet spot good for colouring Cowal peninsula. The separate sauna and hot tub were even better than imagined. Great place for those with mobility issues.

This is a great little property which suited our needs as a base for our trip to Fife. Easily accessible to the road network with stunning sea views to wake up to. The property was extremely comfortable and offered everything we needed by way of amenity. Would happily book again when next we visit the area.

The place is so big it could accommodate max 20 people i supposed. Very clean, tidy and so comfortable. The host, Mr Jon, is very kind and friendly. He’s allowed early check-in at 8 in the morning with worthy charges of £60. Overall, the place is highly recommended especially for a large group of people/family.

Superb stay at Oscar's. Checkin by keybox is always the best. The house and location are excellent. The house is really large and spacious, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. The location, right on the marina, is perfect. Chris and Sara were very responsive to message, replying quickly, clearly and helpfully. We will be back!

The property surpassed my expectations, it really felt like a home from home. It was the little things, like having a hairdryer, shower gel and hand soap. Being able to grab more towels and toilet roll when needed. The local shop was bigger than I expected, and there’s a clothing department which came in handy when we’d forgotten to pack something. The location was excellent for what I needed - visiting friends who live nearby and taking the train into Edinburgh to explore. James was excellent at communicating with me, and there was a handbook on how to use everything and what the expectations were. The beds were comfy (apart from one which unfortunately I chose to sleep in until check out day when I realised the other beds were so much softer!) and the bedding was clean. There was plenty of storage space in the wardrobes and drawers. The toilet was clean and the shower was warm with good water pressure. We had a lovely stay and I hope we were good first time guests.

Wonderful location with many places to visits. Great cabin with lovely hot tub, well equipment and very clean& neighbour are very friendly too. The place of scenery is breathe taking, right next to the lake, hearing the water flow on the night and morning is very relaxing. Diane is a very lovely responsive host & organised, I'd definitely recommend and will be back if heading back this way. Thank you so much, I hope your business grows on, best wishes!

Lovely clean accomodation. Great facilities and as described. Private entrance backed into a wee garden which was nice. The spare bed wasn't made up as there was an assumption my friend and I would share the double so best to ask for this in advance. The lighting is also a little harsh although there are bedside lamps next to the double bed. Thank you for a great stay.

Our third stay at the Carthouse and it couldn't have been better - the property is immaculate as always - well stocked with everything you could need. Lee was fantastic, made the property cosy for us on arrival and was great for local recommendations and taxi booking! Thank you very much - and see you next year!

A great place to stay as a group! Fantastic views of Loch Lomond. Was a perfect location for our trip for my brother’s wedding at Cameron House! Graham was a very responsive and accommodating host!

Fantastic stay at Woodpecker Lodge. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and great base for exploring Dumfries and the Solway coast. The pool is a wonderful addition that my girls particularly loved! Wendy and Joe were excellent hosts - very friendly and helpful - thank you so much!

Our second visit with our parents this time and we all had the best weekend. Great location for walks with the dog, ideal for exploring should you want to and has everything plus more you would need! Julie is fab, proactive and responsive. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Lovely base to explore the West Lakes. A stone’s throw from the beach and playground, the BMX track was a big hit with my kids. Salt chippy is excellent. We went to muncaster castle, st bees, the ratty train and Wastwater all within a 15-20 minute drive so really well positioned! Thanks again Paul.

Truly a home to just arrive in and have all you need. with welcome drinks, bread, cheese, milk, very good coffee, and board games, one can see why all the other reviews of this lovely apartment are so extremely positive. 🎲 Everyone had a great stay, and it was nice to meet Kirstie too. Nicola and David's property is one of the best we have stayed at. The House Manual and any communication with the hosts was professional, helpful and clear. I have already shared our experience with at least 10 people back in Canada and would gladly stay in this home away from home again. Nicola and David have thought of all the small and large details. The back garden was the perfect spot for my daughter's ice bucket challenge ;) and my glass of wine after a long day of walking beautiful Edinburgh. We will be back!

We had amazing time at Laura’s house. Very comfortable and I slept very well. I was surprised that kitchen was well equipped everything really ready for a family holiday. Highly recommended A ++ from me and my kids. Definitely we will be back soon.

Lovely area for a break. Something for everyone

Lovely apartment, quiet and peaceful. Derek was very helpful and knowledgeable. Kept in touch with us. Perfect for a base for our adventures but also felt very comfortable and at home. Definitely recommend.

We stayed for a family holiday (5 adults and 3 children) for my Mum’s 70th birthday. This house is just stunning. The views are incredible and the house is everything you can need from an Airbnb. Comfortable beds and well thought out living areas. The communication from Karen has been faultless and she’s responded quickly to any queries we had. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We’d highly recommend it!
