Hotel vacation rentals in Ayrshire

We had a late cancellation on another property due to flooding. We booked this property last minute and couldn’t have been happier. Great location, loads of restaurants and pubs. Graham was super responsive and helpful. Parking was a bonus. Only very minor downside was the double bed which wasn’t very comfortable but fine for a short stay. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and wonderful hosts Well appointed room

Stuart's place is a real home from home! We were welcomed personally on arrival by Paul as Stuart had nipped out. Booking was very straightforward, Stuart responds very quickly and is very approachable. Our room was lovely, cosy and a lot of thought had gone into guest comfort. Both our room and the ensuite were immaculately clean. The bed was so, so comfortable, we slept extremely well which is not always the norm in a "strange" bed. Ravenswood is very easy to find with excellent off street parking. It is also within walking distance of the town. We have been coming over to Stirling since 2018, we love the area, there is so much to do and do many wonderful sights and restaurants. We would have no hesitation in recommending Stuart's place and we definitely look forward to a return visit.

My son and I had a glorious break at Bank Ground Farm. The weather was typically Cumbrian, but we felt so at home this just enforced a much needed rest and down time. We were very comfortable, Jonathon and his staff were so friendly and accommodating, and our fabulous veggie breakfasts were the cherry on the cake. Thankyou so much guys, we'll be back!

It was a lovely hostel with stunning scenery. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, I will definitely be back .

You won’t be disappointed. The setting is far enough away from town that you feel calm, but close enough to walk to when you wish. Ideal. Beautiful views from the balcony and nothing but birds to listen to. Hotel was clean and fresh. Menu was interesting and broad. Staff were all efficient and polite. Fantastic

Great stay for two nights, Easy and smooth check-in, the room described clearly like the pictures,expect to share a wonderful living room and kitchen with other guests, breakfast was delicious. The house 20 minuets far from the city center, hosts are very friendly and help me to keep my luggage until my next check in, if you look for clean and quiet places this is the right place, overall it was a good time spending there. They let me to take many pictures for the house and share it in my insta@M4.f.

Just amazing. If you are looking for a good place to stay in Edinburgh stop looking and just get to Cresent House. Beautiful, very quiet, all the comfort you want and really friendly hosts Thank you for having us Michael & Paul. You really helped making our visit an incredible stay.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Towels and snacks were changed frequently which was amazing. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were absolutely amazing and free to use for all guests. The area does not have many shops/restaurants but that is not a reason to not stay here!

I would like to thank Rose and David for their unmatched hospitality. It really felt like home. I do recommend them for anyone visiting this area of Glasgow

Fantastic place, clean tidy easy to find and a great location…very easy access and great communication with Elizabeth….railway inn pub nearby is spot on,friendly staff and food lovely Would highly recommended the bunkhouse to anyone and I am sure we will be back

This place is beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the place is clean. The bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor with a very thin, small staircase. Parking is convenient in front of the building. The location is very remote, with nothing in walking distance and difficult to get to/from the town, which I wish I had known prior to booking. However, we made the most of it and the house itself is beautiful and matches the photos.

Michel is an amazing host: friendly, responsive and honest. We will probably be back ! It’s a peaceful area, nice for a quiet weekend in the countryside. Michel made sure we had everything we needed. Merci beaucoup !

Great location and Suzanne was very helpful. Took my dog on a hiking weekend and this was perfect for what we needed!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the caravan. It's in a beautiful peaceful area and was clean and comfortable. It's more spacious than the photos show, and was the perfect stop off for us. We were walking the first 2 sections of the Hadrian's Wall path, so got the 9:15 bus ( no 93) out to Bowness and walked to Carlisle ( with a stop off in the caravan which is right next to the path!), then continued from Carlisle on our final day. The beds were comfy, shower lovely and hot, surroundings peaceful and we loved the Carlisle monopoly game there, plus the warm welcome we received. Thank you so much, we had a great stay and would highly recommend it.
