Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Avola

We spent one week in this very nice house in the center of Noto. The house is in one word „ fantastic“, with its very nice kitchen and living room and the great terrace, all 2 min next to the cathedral. We can highly recommend this location for holidays.

We felt super comfortable in Charlie's vacation home from the beginning. Everything was as described in the advertisement and there was nothing missing. We especially enjoyed cozy breakfasts and dinners on the two terraces or the first coffee of the day on the rooftop terrace with sea views. My favorite place was the hammock - also with sea view - where you could relax wonderfully. The vacation home is also a perfect starting point for various excursions. For example, we found it super nice in/on "La Spiaggia della Riserva Foce dell'Irminio," which is only about 10 minutes away by car. The personal contact with Charlie was very nice and informal. He is an attentive, yet totally unobtrusive host who has plenty of tips for restaurants, excursions, etc. And we also got fresh eggs from the chickens. We would book the vacation home again anytime! Thank you, Charlie, for letting us be your guests :-)

Couldn’t have been better. Easy communication, super warm welcome, awesome property that has everything you need and more. We felt immediately at home and even days of thunderstorm and rain were pleasant in this house. Valerio and his family have always been there for us and took care of everything super fast. The property looks in real life even better than on the pictures.

Marion’s place was absolutely beautiful, the pictures didn’t do the listing justice!! The place had views which were amazing to enjoy all day long and of an evening when everything is lit up. Marion was super helpful and responsive for any local recommendations and places to visit out of the town - thank you again!!!

The villa was absolutely beautiful and very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the choice of outdoor areas and the pool. Sabrina was an extremely lovely and responsive host who made sure our stay was smooth. Arriving in Catania at 8am, we were able to do an early check-in which was much appreciated. Our children also appreciated the cats who came to say hi, it reminded us of ours :) We would definitely recommend Sabrina’s place.

Sebastiano s place is very thoughtfully equipped with everything a tourist can possibly want: parasol, snorkelling gear, cooking equipment - and a bottle of Sizilian wine waiting for us a arrival! Thank you! Location is super central, but also very quiet, since it is located in a pedestrian zone. Lovely view from slim balcony, but don t be too broad shouldered :). We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely use Sebastiano s place again.

We had a beautiful stay here! What a location, and the home was spotless and in a gorgeous location. We wish we could have stayed longer, and we can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful few days stay. The house and gardens are just beautiful, even better than the images. Ketty the housekeeper was lovely and Francesca was very responsive. The house is situated 15 min drive from Noto so very simple to get to the shops etc. There are no shops/restaurants within walking distance but we were able to drive a short distance to get everything we needed. Would highly recommend anyone looking for beautiful and traditional Italian villa in a quiet and relaxing area.

We had a wonderful stay at Massimo & Danila’s house, which is an architectural gem filled with beautiful details and personal touches. Even in the winter time it was very warm and the fireplace added to the feeling of comfort. We loved the peace and quiet that the house radiates, as well as the surrounding sand dunes and beautiful beaches. Thank you for making our stay so magical & we hope to return.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a very beautiful apartment and was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The garden was amazing with a nice view of the church and we enjoyed our time outside. Lorenzo was very helpful and gave us great instructions and local recommendations. The beds were super comfortable too. The location was great for walking into town and we walked everywhere. Lots of convenient parking nearby on the main road. A superb Airbnb.

The property was very comfortable, nicely furnished and felt very welcoming and homely. It is extremely well located near the centre of Ortigia and yet is both private and quiet. Everything (shops/restaurants) is within a short walking distance. Gisella provided lots of support and useful suggestions for our visit and Gianluca was there to greet us locally. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to return.

Natalia's villa was perfect for what my friends and I needed. It was centrally located and very safe. It was our first time visiting the area, our flight was delayed, and one suitcase did not arrive on time. Natalia and her sister, Marcella were very understanding. Marcella was so great! Making us feel welcomed on the spot. The villa is very spacious..More space than we 3 needed but perfect for spreading out after a day of sightseeing. The views are spectacular, the people, warm and friendly. There is a Lidl up the street from the villa where you can easily get anything you might need for your stay. The kitchen is very well equipped with full size fridge and anything you might need to prepare meals at home. We can not say enough about this lovely property. We will definately be back! We were guests at Daniela's for the second time. The apartment is large has shabby charm, nothing is new, but it is somehow romantic. The location is perfect and we love the large roof terrace. It is totally quiet and you can hear and see the sea and you are still in the middle of the old town.

One of the best places we have been.. The villa is super cozy and you feel right at home! Also, Federico is a great host, he was always responsive and helpful, and gave us useful recommendations on the dining and things to do in the area. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Thoughtful and pleasant host. Enjoyed being greeted upon arrival (rather than with the lockbox). Corrado provided us with plenty of information about the possibilities of discovery in the surroundings. An address to recommend without hesitation. One of the best places.

Exactly as described. Easy walk to more restaurants and sites than one could do in a year. Ortigia is unreal ! We stayed 6 nights and wished we booked it for longer.

Great villa with large garden where kids can just have fun. We even used the pool twice, in April. Loredana is very professional, nice and helpful.

Corrado was so nice and friendly, he was a gentle man. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was perfect. Pool was fabulous. Every recommendation Corrado gave us was superb from beaches to the unmissable Canyon, to restaurants to day trips. I would highly highly recommend this place and the wonderful Corrado

Beautiful location across the river from Noto - the property is well-thought-out and cared for, large variety of interesting trees and plants (lemons, oranges, pomegranates, almonds, etc) around the house, fun pool for the kids, well-appointed kitchen and beautiful spot for evening meals looking over the vista of Noto as the sun sets. However, the highlight was the hosts - Emanuel and Sebastiano - flexible with check-in and check-out, Emanuel took the time to answer all of our questions, introduce us to all of the interesting parts of the property, and provide local recommendations, and Sebastiano was very helpful and patient when I forgot our passports at the house and had to return to get them - he safeguarded them and met me in town to return them. Highly recommended!

Must stay if you get the chance. Luca was extremely friendly and responsive - he created a chat group before check-in to help us manage the process. He also had a list of recommendations, which we used to guide our first night in the area! House is peaceful and tidy - all amenities were there as indicated. We had no problem finding it (recommend adding the location earlier as there is limited 4g in the area). Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this beautiful villa! The view and gardens are stunning, it is incredibly peaceful. There are two pools which are fantastic. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. You will need a car if you are staying here as there are no restaurants walkable but that is why it feels so peaceful! The hosts are so lovely and very attentive on the phone. I honestly cannot recommend staying here highly enough!

We had a wonderful time at Martina's place. We were a group of 19 people exploring the plants of Sicily, and the accommodation was perfect, on wonderful grounds with a swimming pool and tremendous views towards Siracusa and the sea. Everything was perfect. Thanks Martina! I hope we'll be back next year.

Alessandro and Valentina are among the warmest landlords we have ever had. Not only did Alessandro pick us up in Syracuse, he showed us the area right away, recommended supermarkets, restaurants, even waited in front of the best bakery in Cassibile (Panificio Nanè) until we had bought bread etc. And when we wanted to rent a car to explore the area, he assisted us with advice and action. It was a wonderful contact with them at all times. The apartment is spacious for a couple, the terrace is the absolute hit: a fantastic view of the sea. So if you want to explore the area, Fontane Bianche with Alessandro and Valentina are in good hands. During the day you drive to Noto, Syracuse, Modica and relax in the apartment in the evening. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for self-catering, the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom perfect. The address is an absolute recommendation. We will be back :) !!!
