Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Avignon

The location is stunning and worth the views! We absolutely adored our stay with Maria and Francois. They were so kind and accommodating and had great recommendations! It’s a cute apartment and they are especially wonderful hosts who provided breakfast every morning!

We thank Fabrice for his welcome, kindness and flexibility. We had a great time with the family in this farmhouse, the setting is nice and peaceful. The accommodation is spacious, clean and functional. The bedding is comfortable. We enjoyed our meals outside by the pool. Everything was perfect! Small very private oise, well-equipped house, spacious, with everything you need. Small, very nice artistic touches everywhere. The basics for cleaning and cooking (plus laundry) were there. Small nice touch: the bottle of rosé on arrival. Beautiful small pool (ok for children as it is heated). Beautiful base for discovering Avignon and Provence.

This was our second time staying at Christophe's place. He remains an extremely thorough and thoughtful host as his home is stocked with literally everything that one would need. The location is a quick walk into Avignon center, and really makes you feel like a local rather than staying in a tourist hotel with all the noise of the old city center. I continue to highly recommend this rental!

Carefully decorated home, unobstructed views and soothing setting in the middle of nature. We had a great time and would have stayed longer. We particularly appreciated the flexibility with our arrival and departure times, the little touches in the accommodation, the comfort both inside and outside and the activities available on site (pétanque, ping pong, bikes available). We felt great in the house and surrounding area. Note that the pool area is shared with the terraced house.

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s, and Catherine’s apt is our absolute favorite! We loved the spaciousness—the rooms were larger than we expected and the balcony was huge. Bed so comfy, bathroom squeaky clean, kitchen and dining room just right for the two of us, lots of places to sit and relax. We felt so at home that we didn’t want to leave. Catherine’s directions were super easy to follow and her recommendations for restaurants outstanding. It was our first time in Menerbes and we fell in love with it. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic apartment in a completely beautiful town of Villenueve les Avignon - it was picture perfect. The apartment design and decor was truly unique and absolutely stunning. It was easy to feel at home! Check in was very easy, the apartment has everything you need, and was very comfortable. There are a wealth of restaurants and bakeries near by, and some truly stunning places to visit such as Gardens of the Abbey which was beautiful and had the best views. The walk to Avignon via public footpaths was also great and easy, or it’s a very quick taxi in. Finally Françoise was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to any questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

A great choice. We had booked a hotel room first but cancelled for this and very happy with that decision. Nice and roomy. would stay there again.

The small terrace with the pool are ideal for a good brunch in the sun. It's great to have access to that in Avignon, especially when you're right in the historic center! I'll be back:)

Lovely accommodation in a fabulous spot. Walkable to everything in the old town. A wonderful stay, thank you.

Location, location, location. A 10 minute walk to every point of interest within the walls. Two supermarkets and a great coffee shop within a minutes walk. Comfortable beds. Heating, aircon and hot water all worked well. Everything you need is available in the flat and even some you hadn’t thought of. Cecile was friendly and proactive.

The apartment was immaculate and had all the amenities you need--plenty of coffee, extra bathroom towels, pillows, paper goods and sparkling clean dishes and wine glasses. It is light and airy and appears to have been freshly painted and decorated. David, our host, was exceptionally attentive and communicative. The apartment is in a prime location in a historical 18th century building near the center of Avignon and the Palais des Papes. You must take stairs to the second floor. The stairs are level, clean, slightly winding and have rails. I only mention this due to a knee problem that required me to have others (including our host, who offered) take my luggage up and down. I would highly recommend this apartment and host for a pleasant, comfortable stay in Avignon!

the accommodation is certainly a little small but very clean, functional, in the center, convenience nearby to discover Avignon, the location is ideal! The host is welcoming and accommodating. Thank you. We will keep a good memory!

Great little place in the center of Avignon. Exactly as described, and very cute.

Nathalie’s apartment is comfortable for us, 2 humans and 2 big dogs — very nicely decorated with good-quality furniture, beddings and utensils; everything we needed when staying in (Netflix, nespresso etc) and to enjoy home cooking was available to us. The location is perfect for exploring the Intramuros / main sights as everything was walking distance. The indoor parking and elevator were a bonus. Nathalie welcomed us and was very warm and accommodating. I’m happy with our choice to stay here and would highly recommend this place.

Excellent accommodation: very well located for visiting Nîmes, well arranged, cozy and very beautiful. Beautiful terrace, comfortable bedding. I would highly recommend it!

The apartment is a very easy walk from the train station. A narrow staircase leads to the stylish apartment, which is tastefully furnished and from which museums, churches and the papal palace can be easily reached. A small minus point is the smell that escapes through the sewer in the toilet (with a low ceiling), which is very likely not atypical for old buildings. Overall, we were very please and can recommend the apartment!

A wonderful and memorable stay! The studio is still as charming and pleasant, very well equipped and comfortable. The spring light bathes the space in a beautiful softness, we like to stay and rest there, after a hike or simply to recharge. Véronique and Pascal are perfectly friendly and very attentive hosts. It's a real pleasure to stay with them. The Ardèche Gorges are nearby, as are many hikes, caves and quaint villages. Nia is a gem. We recommend it, and we'll be back. 😉✨

We stayed one night at Coralie and Romain's place. The bedding is very comfortable, the apartment spacious and quiet. I've read some comments about the VMC. If you close the doors to the bathroom and toilet, you don't hear it. We had a very good exchange with Coralie, who was very hospitable. There are all kinds of shops nearby; Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a charming little town. I would recommend Coralie and Romain's place.

It was the perfect place to stay with everything. The host was kind and friendly. However, the parking process was a little difficult, but it was nice to have thorough parking security.
