Cabin on lake w no public access. Owners out of sight and sound. Great pike fishing on supplied jonboat and 4 kayaks. Wood-burning sauna next to cabin. Lake Michigan beach and boat access 5 minutes away. 45 minutes to Pictured Rocks, 20 minutes to Kitch iti kipi, 25 minutes to La Fayette State Park. 12v batteries supply a bit of power and a few lights. Pets are welcome except on beds and futon :) Silverware, utensils, propane and firewood provided. You'll need ice, food, and drinking water.

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.

Head the other direction and you are a short 15 min drive to Miners Castle/Miners Beach which can be a fantastic launching point to your UP adventure!

A full kitchen which includes a stove, fridge, and a BBQ grill to cook what you would like. There is a queen size bed, and a natural gas fireplace, and full bathroom. We also have a deck to enjoy the wildlife from. Hummingbirds, Blue Heron, geese, ducks, eagles, river otters and more have all been spotted from the front porch.
