Cabin vacation rentals in Alger County

Yet again another amazing stay!!

The house and location are prettier than the pictures showcase. It had all the necessary amenities, including Wifi, which was especially helpful to look up directions for daily outings in the area because cell and mapping service was very weak throughout our experience around Hiawatha and Boot Lake. Other favorite features of ours included the deck overlooking the lake and trees, the dock over the lillypads on your way to the boats and shore, the large living room/gathering space for our family of 8 plus dogs. We had pretty much no bugs inside and the fans worked well to keep us cool. We had a little trouble finding the exact address at night when arriving but Kendra remained communicative throughout our stay and helped us find it. We were also bummed the hot tub was not working but appreciated Kendras efforts to try to get it functioning again. A technician was even sent out but it seems it just couldn't be fixed during our stay. Overall, a great week and would stay here again.

This place was stunning. The hosts thought of everything that anyone would need while staying at their house. They were wonderful with communication. The cabin was so cozy. Lots of fun snow activities in Marquette and Munising. This place has wonderful views and is at a perfect location. We hope to make this trip a yearly tradition. 😊

These guys are great! Well maintained and always clean! All the essentials to cook and hang out. Been staying here the past 5 years for sled trips and will keep coming in years to come!

Durea's place was amazing! First I have to acknowledge she was always SUPER helpful and responsive and she would always respond when emerging travel situations came up which was so nice. The place is also really really awesome. The cabin was more than we expected (totally felt in a glamping situation) and I would say its location is also really good because even though everything is "far" in the UP , the location is very centric to Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls , Kitchi iti kipi and other things so definitely a place to consider. Outside of that the cabin is really comfortable and they really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The bathrooms were always in super clean condition with running hot water and the cabin itself was super comfortable. Would highly recommend

Such a great stay for our family of 4! House fit our needs - great places to eat nearby. Lot's to do in the area. Loved hanging out at the Bay and the lake.

Had a great time at Heather's rental. I thought it was the best location of the cabins in the resort. The cabin had a wonderful view of the lake, was clean and had what we needed for our stay. The Internet was a little spotty, but I really didn't expect much for that location. It was fine for checking emails. The other item to note is that the beach is downhill. Not sure why it took my wind, but it did. I like to think it was the sand and steepness of the hill and not my age/fitness. It's fine to walk, but launching personal kayaks was a chore. Close to Au Train falls (definitely go see), Lake Superior, Christmas and Munising if you want to go out. I would definitely rent here again and I hope soon.

The place was nice and peaceful. It was clean and looked exactly like the photos. We definitely recommend this place if you need a getaway and love to go hiking and explore new places.

Went up there for my bachelor trip and had a good time. Served its purpose with no complaints. Was also neat to have 20 deer right off the back porch both nights

Erin made sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed, gave plenty of helpful tips for the area and went above and beyond to provide communication during our stay. Our space was comfortable and generously stocked with kitten supplies, which we very much appreciated. It was also so cozy for our winter stay and close to everything we needed to get to.

Chose this cabin for a snowmobile trip. Cabin was just a few minutes from the trails so access was great. We were able to park truck & trailer near cabin. Cabin was clean, as described, & Laura was responsive & accommodating. We were looking for a quaint cabin near snowmobile trails with a kitchen and it worked out well for us. Thank you Laura!

We were at David's for a guys snowmobile trip with 9 people. Everyone loved the place and the location. There was plenty of space inside and parking and it was close to the snowmobile trailhead. The bar was a great place for all of us to congregate. We highly recommend it!

Terrific stay and experience with Kayla and Kyle's lakefront cabin. The sauna was really terrific during the snow storm - great amenity to this cozy cabin! The house is super clean and comfortable...would love to return in the summer/warmer months!
