We can’t say enough about this experience. This was our second stay in this cabin, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were able to do all the things this time and still had plenty of time to unwind and recharge. Tammy is hands down the best host we’ve ever had. She made us feel like VIP guests, from the beekeeping and honey tasting experience to her wonderful storytelling and immediate responses to our questions. Everything was clean and very well organized. We loved every single thing about this visit and can’t wait to go back!

We had such a great stay at The Loft. The space was cozy, and pet friendly which is important to use as we bring our 4 legged pup with us everywhere we go. Another unexpected bonus was Hand of Fate Brewery right next door where our pup had the chance to greet everyone as they entered. We also enjoyed the local brew and we were able to bring our meal to our rooftop and take in the view. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting near Petersburg, IL.

The house was a quiet place to stay at and Kim checked in on me to make sure that everything was going well. I would stay there again if I have to travel back to Springfield.

We immediately felt very comfortable; everything was as described (actually, even better!) and we felt like we were staying at an old friends house. Super clean, with everything needed if you want to prepare your own meals. It was just the two of us, so we had plenty of room. I think it would also be perfect for a small family. We felt safe and the area was quiet and convenient. We spent most of our time in Springfield, which was an easy 30 min drive. We loved being able to come back to Petersburg to relax. Highly recommend this property; the owners were a joy to work with!!
