Vacation rentals in Ashland

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Big Oak. Marnie and Brian were waiting for us in their Gator when we arrived and greeted us like old friends. As a mom of a leash reactive pittie mix, I reached out to Marnie and Brian before we booked to confirm that there would in fact be no other dogs around and if there was, they would be leashed. They were both very understanding, honest and responsive when I made these inquiries. The Cabin itself is so stocked its insane. Anything you think you might need, they provide it. Olive oil, salt, heater, dog towels, tampons, toaster oven, home made cookies, coffee. They just really want you to feel at home and you DO. They also have it stocked with chilling out activities... things like games, music, DVDs, a full bird-feeder to watch birds, a scavenger hunt. The land is really well taken care of and beautiful. We enjoyed hiking the trails and taking in the sights. Our dogs had the time of their lives. We cannot wait to go back.. We already booked!

My stay was perfect - the home was quaint, charming, and very comfortable. The kitchen was large and well stocked. The entire place was spotless / clean. The bed was comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet. Parking was handy, right outside of the home on the street. Michael responded quickly to my questions and made me feel at home. I'll be back again!

Cabin was cozy, quiet and peaceful! Great location for nature, relaxing and out of the city! Had a great time looking at all the various decor places. Easy to find and enjoy all it had to offer. Would definitely stay here again!

We've stayed at a few of Amy's houses in the Bloomington/Normal area and have always had a great experience. The homes are a little more upscale, but reasonably priced and always clean and fully stocked. Amy is always available for any questions, and we'll definitely be back as we continue to work in Illinois!

Greg was a great host. I told him I was going to be staying for an extended period of time and would appreciate some amenities for cooking. He provided Tupperware and aluminum foil along with larger bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Very thoughtful. His location is steps away from Schooner’s restaurant, which has great wings and onion rings. Next to that is Grove Street bakery which has amazing sugar, cookies, donuts, and pecan rolls. A quarter mile past that is a walking trail. The airport is only six minutes away and all the major shopping centers are within 10 minutes. The 65 inch TV with the multiple recliners is a perfect area to relax at the end of the day. Thank you for hosting my family and I!

Very nice place was in town visiting family for the holiday very spacious and reasonably priced better option than local hotel in town. I will definitely be booking when I’m back in town.

My family of 5 spent 4 days in Kyle and Emily’s residence, which was amazing. The home had all of the necessary amenities, which was greatly appreciated. I found it very hard to leave the home at times, because it was so relaxing, from the beds to the reclining couch. I would definitely recommend this house if you are visiting the area!

Excellent place to relax and unwind. I could sit on that porch forever.
