This is the perfect getaway for a couple! Cozy place with beautiful views on Isle of Skye which has many tourist attractions. Would definitely return to the Strawbale Bothy! Nicola was on the property and gave great local recommendations in person, in chat on Airbnb, and in her instruction booklet.

This was far and away the most amazing stay that could be imagined. The lodge was immaculate, perfectly tucked into the breathtaking environment, and everything that one could look for. It felt like we were going home anytime we drove down into the Sleat peninsula. After long days of adventuring, our kids spent hours running around the open pastures using only their minds and bodies to have the most fun any kid could experience! Every window looked like a perfectly framed photograph. On top of it all, Anita was just an all around perfect host!

Beyond what we expected! What a perfect place to relax after a day exploring Skye! Dorothy was a great host and we will be back.

A beautiful, serene location with scenic views of the south coast of the island. There are lovely viewpoints just outside the cabin; waking up to the view of the water each morning felt like a delightful treat. The amenities were as described and the host gave clear instructions as well as recommendations for things to do in the area. A wonderful little cabin and magnificent scenery!
