A return visit for us, another beautiful peaceful break from our busy lives. Would recommend the Juniper hut to everyone. Cosy cabin with everything you could need,with so much to see only a short drive away.

Lorna and Geoff were absolutely wonderful hosts! Palm 1 was absolutely beautiful and we loved the location! The lodge is really nicely finished with every mod con required (and more!) we now want our own gas fired burner! Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we have loved every minute!

Wild Thistle Lodge absolutely blew us away! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something truly special. The location is out of this world — the views are simply breathtaking, like something from a postcard. Every corner of the lodge was immaculate, cozy, and clearly designed with so much love and attention to detail. Jane, our host, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. She had a full folder waiting for us with recommendations for local restaurants, activities, and even directions to everything — it made exploring the area so easy and stress-free. It’s rare to find a place where you feel completely at home the minute you walk in, but Wild Thistle Lodge was exactly that. The peaceful surroundings, the stunning views, the thoughtful touches throughout the lodge — it all came together to create one of the best stays we have ever had. We are already planning our next trip back. If you’re considering booking Wild Thistle Lodge — don’t hesitate for a second.

We enjoyed a walk around loch ,forest and hot tub. It was peaceful and relaxing holidays. The bed was comfy.

Ali is an excellent host - a truly wonderful lady with a really warm personality - she made us feel so welcome and looked after. The cabin is very comfortable and had everything we needed, but what we loved most was the quirkiness and noticing something new every time we wandered around. It’s clear that a lot of love and creativity has gone into this magical wee place. The grounds and location are so peaceful and tranquil - dining outside around the fire pit and stargazing after some time in the hot bath and sauna was a real treat. We loved the stillness of the place - a very welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We absolutely loved our stay and have told all our friends about this wee gem. The Shepherd’s Hut is just like the photos! Such a quirky, cosy place to settle in after a big day of walking many of the beautiful tracks Skye has to offer. Away from the hustle and bustle but not too far of a drive to all the activities. The hot tub was so nice for the body after all the exercise and we got pretty good at lighting fires to keep us warm during the day/through the night! Helen, the host, is so lovely. She left us homemade white chocolate fudge and was super understanding when I messed up our check out date. Communicating with her was so easy and she seems like a very kind person. Scotland is a long way from Australia but we would definitely come back to this hut if we have the chance again.

The cabin is a lovely location for a peaceful holiday in the countryside. The views are stunning and the walks around the site are very good. The hot tub was a nice feature, and we used it a few times while we were there.

For our family of 4 Harriet’s cabin was a perfect rand cosy etreat and starting base for exploring the environment. The location is scenic and calm and the cabin is well equipped and beautifully maintained. Check in and out went very smoothly and the host are very friendly and supportive. Looking forward to returning as soon as possible.

Stunning location and well laid out cabin. Very quiet except for the little stream next to the path. As far as I can tell there was nothing on the website that warned there is no fridge freezer. This can be an issue for self catering travellers and we may not have booked if we'd known. As there are only 2 power outlets which need to be used sparingly a battery operated wall clock would also be useful.

The setting of The Drey is phenomenal, with 360 views of mountains and pine forest. We saw so much fantastic wildlife, including the red squirrels that come to the balcony. Brilliant access to the Cairngorms and local trails.

This place was a dream for us and our dog! could not have picked a better location! was a great location to see things in the area with beautiful walks and lochs! also was a good location for getting to Skye! Lindsay also had a n amazing welcome pack which was such a nice touch for us and our dog! Lindsay was amazing and super helpful throughout! She even messaged us to give us a heads up about the northern lights being visible and allowed us to capture and see this for the first time ever! so grateful for this. highly recommend this place!

Really nice cabin with great access to walks right behind it. Kitchen had everything we needed, very modern, clean, perfect for a short stay with the dog! Wish we had time to stay for longer and make the most of some great weather in Fort William

Lovely cabin. Very spacious and lots of light inside. Sea and mountain views. Beautiful area with immediate access to the (boulder)beach. Wild deer around the house. Alasdair was very welcoming and helped us out of need with throat pastilles on a Sunday night, thank you a thousand times! In short, a wonderful place to stay.

What a wonderful stay, the photos of the cabin didn't do it justice! Gorgeous views of the surroundings and lots of green space around each cabin which was great for the dog. A lovely, secure outdoor area for each cabin was also great. The cabin itself was spacious, spotless and had everything we might have needed for the evening. Log fire was set and everything explained thoroughly at check in by friendly host. Can't fault this place and definitely would return with dog and little one in tow! Thanks again!

Me and my partner had the best weekend away at Highland Premier Glamping Pods. Graham went the extra mile and set the pod up for my partners birthday, which was well worth the extra money! The pod was very clean and had everything we needed. When we arrived Graham shown us around and shown all they offered including the hot tub, sauna and bbq hut which were all in pristine condition! Graham was a very friendly and helpful host. Will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sara’s cabin. The location was perfect for us - quiet, beautiful, comfortable. Walking and kayaking from the door and we were treated to a couple of otter sighting whilst we were there. Sara was a great host, and did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would highly recommend.

Priceless stunning view! Perfect location in between Fort William and Glencoe (20mins drive to either). Nice and quiet area, perfect for a retreat/ getaway trip!

Pauline welcomed us upon arrival. She was always responsive when we had any questions. The listing was peaceful and as described. It is rather well located because it is close to Portree if you need to shop, but also close to places to visit.

What can I say. Truly a breathtaking area and not to mention a great little cabin. I loved the wood burner and decor. It's a very peaceful place and good area to get a well night's rest. I enjoyed walking out to Loch Laidon and Loch Eigheach. and spending a day wondering the land of Corrour. The facilities at the station are good and it was lovely to watch trains come and go from the window across from the bed in the lodge. I would recommend this lodge to all and I wouldive to come back at some point.

Great little cabin which fulfilled all our needs, excellently appointed and pristinely clean. Great views front and back, the under floor heating meant we were always warm and cosy. The little extras left were very much appreciated, communication with Eilidh was always easy and responsive. We walked up to the swing bridge, then back along the canal to Laggan locks, where we had drinks and ate at The eagle floating barge which was good fun and some stunning views. Great base for trips to Skye, Fort William, Glencoe, Eilean Donan castle, Fort Augustus and Loch Ness. We will back
