This was our second stay at this wonderful house. Also see my first review from 2022 which still holds true! The waterfront property has fantastic views, is clean and tidy, has a kitchen full of cooking utensils, comfy beds a boat to rent and a helpful and responsive hostess …. So it is basically perfect. We hope to return in two or three years and get to see the boat house completed! Thank you for sharing your home.

En gedigen leilighet rett ved vannkanten med nydelig utsikt. Smakfullt innredet og godt utstyrt. Vi rakk bare å prøve den ene kajakken, i tillegg var liten båt og boblebad tilgjengelig. Vi var heldig med været hver dag og brukte da det flotte bryggeanlegget til soling og bading, i tillegg til den fantastiske Groos stranda. Små og store spørsmål ble raskt avklart med vertskapet. Fin mulighet til å lade elbil på egen garasjeplass. Gangavstand til Grimstad sentrum for kjøp av ferske bakevarer og en tur på byen. Alt i alt et flott opphold og vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Wer sich nach Ruhe und Erholung sehnt ist in dem kleinen Haus von Margrethe genau richtig. Die Unterkunft und vor allem die Küche hat alles was man braucht. Man hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick aufs Meer. Wir haben es dank des Kamins hier auch bei Schnee unglaublich gemütlich gemacht und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch :) Marie & Jan

Das Haus liegt auf einer kleinen Anhöhe mit wunderbarem Blick über die Bucht. Auf der Insel gibt es viele Möglichkeiten sich aktiv zu betätigen oder zu entspannen. Wenns draußen ungemütlich wird, bietet das Haus einen idealen Rückzugsort. Selbst die CD Sammlung lässt kaum Wünsche offen - einzig eine Bowie-Platte fehlt in der Sammlung!;-) Die 300 m zur nächsten Badegelegenheit lassen sich gemütlich mit einem Spaziergang verbinden. Als wir uns dann noch Kajak und SUP ausborgen durften, stand einem erfrischenden Bad im Meer nichts mehr im Wege.

Extremely beautiful house with a magical garden. Very good location, calm street but close to the town center, and absolutely perfect for families. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We had a lovely time there, everything was as described and Tiril was a great host. We would love to come again.

Die Hütte hat einen etwas steilen Aufstieg- der sich aber auf jeden Fall lohnt! Ein tolles Haus, in dem wir gemütliche Ferien verbringen durften! Es liegt eine Stunde vom Hafen in Kristiansand entfernt. Es war so warm, dass wir die Sauna nicht genutzt haben. Aber in dem Dusch - und Saunahaus konnte man herrlich (warm natürlich ) duschen und auch Wäsche waschen. Eine Waschmaschine ist auch vorhanden. Die Toilette ist ein Plumpsklo in einem extra Häuschen. Der Komfort dabei ist die brilliante Aussicht.:) Im Haus selber war alles, was wir brauchten! Es gibt im Haupthaus kein warmes Wasser- aber einen Topf zum erhitzen auf dem Herd, damit man abwaschen kann. Wir sind zu viert gereist und haben die Betten im Haus genutzt. Es gab auch noch ein extra ‚Gästehaus‘… mit weiteren fünf Betten. Am See liegen zwei Kajaks und ein Ruderboot. Schwimmwesten sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Was soll ich sagen?! Für uns war es perfekt! Vielen Dank für das Teilen von diesen traumhaften Fleckchen Erde.

Vi hadde en fantastisk fin helg i leiligheten til Annette. Som vert er hun er vennlig, rask til å svare på spørsmål og fleksibel. Leiligheten ligger rolig til i en blindvei i gangavstand til Grimstad sentrum og har en flott hage som kan benyttes. Den har alt som trengs av utstyr og fasiliteter. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake seinere!

Flott opphold i vakre omgivelser! Det eneste jeg satt 4 stjerner på var ifm. innsjekkingen siden det ikke er parkeringsplass ved selve huset, men utenom dette er det full score på alle punkter. Godt vedlikeholdt, rent og fint bad, toalett og kjøkken, og ikke minst en flott plassering rett ved sjøen. Hyggelig og hjelpsom vert trekker også opp. Kan virkelig anbefales. Skulle gjerne ha tilbragt mere tid der en annen gang!

Vi følte oss med en gang hjemme i Anes store, rene og smakfullt innredete sommerhus med et lekkert nytt baderom og et meget praktisk kjøkken som inneholder alt man trenger (og mye mer enn det!). Innsjekkingen via nøkkelboksen var enkel og kommunikasjonen med Ane meget hyggelig. Ane svarte raskt på våre henvendelser. Den utførlige informasjonen om feriehuset, adkomst, søppelhåndtering, internett, strender, severdigheter, turområder, spisesteder på Fevik, i Arendal og Grimstad osv. var også bra! Og det var også utsikten fra stuevinduet og terrassen mot Store og Lille Torungen fyrstasjonee, mot holmer, havgapet og gamle trær. Vi var så heldige og hadde kun én regndag i løpet av vårt seksdagers opphold og hadde dermed stor glede av den store, solrike terrassen og plattingen (uten innsyn!) som finnes nesten rundt hele huset. Vi kunne gjerne bodd her en uke til og kommer gjerne tilbake om et år! Kort sagt: et flott sted til å slappe av og nyte livet! Takk for oss! Anja & Trygve

Staying at Anders' house has been an unforgettable experience. From the first minute Anders has been available and helpful for any questions or wishes we had. The house has everything you need for a stay and much more. The house is very cosy and the tranquility is absolute. The view from the house to the lake is priceless. All the facilities that the house has: kayak, rowing boat, .... make you feel in a paradise. We have been there for 2 weeks with 2 children of 9 and 14 years old and both have been delighted with so much nature and happily disconnected from tablets, video games, ... We thank Andres for his great hospitality and hope to return to his paradise soon!

my family of 10 stayed here for 2 weeks for my wedding (In which I came often and stayed). I can't say enough about this location and the host. The pictures were already beautiful, but when you get there it's much better than it looks. Eirin was extremely helpful, and proactive and very quick at responding. always checking if everything was okay, and making sure our stay was as good as could be. She was very understanding of our personal situation and adapted to many different unexpected changes. She made the boat and fishing equipment available to us too which was a huge bonus. easily the best host I've had yet!

Ekstremt flott hus med masse plass til alle. Vi var 6 voksne, 2 småbarn og ett spedbarn. For ungene var det et eldorado av leker og trampolinen var selvsagt helt topp. Siri svarte raskt på de få spørsmålene jeg hadde. 10 min til Dyreparken. Eneste problemet var været, men kan ikke laste Siri for det.

Beliggenheten er prima for en småbarnsfamilie. Med privat og inngjerdet hage, og badestrand og lekeplass i umiddelbar nærhet er det særdeles barnevennlig. Huset er romslig med god standard. Pluss også for lademulighet for elbil. Alt i alt kan hsuet til Camilla anbefales og det kan godt være vi tar turen igjen.

Fantastisk sted med god plass og alt vi trengte! Barna storkoste seg med dyr, lekeplass og lavvo – som å komme til et annet hjem. Huseier var lett å kontakte. Vi er kjempefornøyde og kommer gjerne tilbake!

We had a fantastic stay in Terje’s house. He was a great communicator and it was perfect for 2 Young families to have a long weekend away and only 20 mins drive from Dyreparken. Make sure you have bedsheets and towels with you and I am sure you will be very happy there. Great place and Great understanding host - highly recommended.

Vi har hatt en herlig uke på Skåtøy. Kom til et rent, ryddig og koselig hus som hadde alt man trengte. Vi brukte mye tid på den private bryggen med nydelig utsikt mot sjøen og rolige omgivelser. Kajakk og robåt ble godt brukt. Hyggelig vert, som vi hadde god kommunikasjon med. Hit kommer vi gjerne tilbake😊

Die Unterkunft ist nicht gerade günstig, aber ihr Geld wert! Sehr schönes Haus in einer tollen Umgebung, sehr viel Equipment am Haus vorhanden, Bolzplatz und Volleyball Platz in der Nähe, (auf der Insel) die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur wenige Minuten mit dem Boot entfernt! Wir hatten einen super Urlaub hier - sehr zu empfehlen. 👌🏻

Die Unterkunft hatte für uns zu zweit wirklich alles, was man brauchte. Neu und sauber und vor allem: eine unfassbar schöne Aussicht. Die Gastgeberin war gut und schnell für uns erreichbar und hat sich viel Mühe gegeben, unsere Fragen zu beantworten. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt, wir kommen gerne wieder.

We hebben echt enorm genoten!! Wat is Noorwegen prachtig maar vooral het huisje de inrichting de plek echt fantastisch. We zijn helemaal tot rust gekomen. Wij kwamen hier echt voor de rust en de natuur samen zijn met familie en dat is hier echt gelukt. En we kregen ook twee dagen sneeuw dit maakte de pret voor de kids compleet!! We komen graag nog een keer terug.. Sven reageerde was heel erg behulpzaam en reageerde snel op vragen. Bedankt voor de gastvrijheid. 😇

Nydelig sted, vi koste oss veldig med flott hytte og nærhet til vannet med egen brygge! Fantastisk beliggenhet med flott utsikt. Veldig ryddig og ordentlig leie, rask og god kommunikasjon.
