Beautiful stay in a rural Bordeaux setting.

we stopped at Mathieu and Madeleine's during our trip to the Var. Access to the accommodation, not far from the highway, is easy. We were warmly greeted by Madeleine (much nicer than the lockboxes!). A platter of cold cuts/cheese was waiting for us, which is very nice. The accommodation is simple but very well maintained. Located in the countryside, the silence is deafening and guarantees a peaceful night! we will keep the address for a future stop!

Charming little farmhouse, with everything you need, impeccable bedding, clean. Jean Marie was very nice and helpful with great touches. Breakfast was great. Pleasantly surprised. We recommend without a second thought.

My husband and I spent a week at Catherine's stunning home in June. The grounds are literally breath taking and the apartment had everything you needed. We loved the pool area and Catherine supplied a bbq so we had dinner on our own private lawn overlooking the beautiful grounds one evening, truly magical! Emyet is only 5 mins drive and has an abundance of beautiful restaurants. Catherine was so helpful giving us great suggestions of places to visit. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it for a special stay in the Dordogne. Wonderful!! Thank you Catherine.

Amazing stay at the place ! Gaspard was really friendly

Lovely family home next to the beautiful gardens. 15 mins walk to the old town and local restaurants and cafe nearby. The host was very hospitable and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a family. It is a family home so important to be quiet and respectful after 10pm.

Excellent stay at Thierry's, who is very welcoming. The little touches are very nice (especially the chili con carne which was very good). Quiet and well located accommodation, it is easy to get to Bordeaux by bus.

My husband and I had the pleasure of rooming with Julie’s adorable cat, Hermès, for three nights. The apartment is described and photographed accurately and we were very happy there during our brief stay in Bordeaux. We appreciated that we had access to their Prime Video. Their apartment is just above a nice little bakery and the smells were divine! They were very responsive to questions.

We enjoyed our stay at the studio apartment, it was in a beautiful and quiet area, but also easy walking distance to the centre of Bordeaux. Sandra had very helpful instructions and recommendations for local activities and places to eat! We appreciated the thoughtful breakfast supplies -thank you.

Visiting Miguel’s Place was like visiting a relative. He had food and drinks waiting along with menus, maps and his own personal guidebook that was bilingual. He even left a bottle of wine to enjoy. You can tell that he puts pride not only in his apartment, but in his country as well. He spent almost 30 minutes going over all the local recommendations when it came to hikes, restaurants, bars, cafés…. The apartment was spotless, tastefully decorated and very spacious. You cannot beat the location. The windows open up to a beautiful view of the beach and just one flight downstairs is everything you could possibly need. Whenever I come back to San Sebastian, I am definitely staying here again! Gracias Miguel!

We had a great time at François! The apartment is quiet, bright, cozy and pretty well located. It felt good there. François is considerate and attentive (special mention for breakfast which is rarely offered), and his instructions are clear. Great value for money, I recommend it without a second thought!

A beautiful place to stay. The garden and pool that surround the house are lovely and peaceful. The house is cool, peaceful and beautifully furnished. The summer kitchen is perfect for preparing a lunch or light dinner if you don’t want to eat out. Marine and Andre are incredible hosts, they were really responsive before the holiday helping me arrange a wine tasting at a local vineyard and were so welcoming once we arrived. The breakfast every morning was beautifully prepared and presented, and weather permitting eating it in the garden was a highlight of the stay. I could not recommend it highly enough, I wish we didn’t have to leave.

Nicolas and Emilie are great hosts. We had a wonderful stay. The premises are great (and very clean) and the vegetation gives a lot of charm. You immediately feel like you're on vacation. And at the same time, everything is done to make you feel at home with a clever mix of friendliness and respect for everyone's privacy. Absolutely all the elements of comfort and necessity within reach. Impeccable bedding (as proof, my wife is very sensitive in the back and woke up every morning without any pain, it makes all the difference). A cute little dog that kept our daughter busy. We had an amazing time at Richard and Philippe's! The benevolence and kindness of the hosts are as important as the accommodation. The place is peaceful, the gardens are splendid and very well maintained, the pool is ideal for resting after a day of walking. R&P know the best restaurants, activities, and places to visit! Every day we followed the recommendations and we were never disappointed. Let's not forget breakfast, Richard's cakes and Philippe's homemade jams are already missing. Save us a place for years to come! (and a big shout out to Thierry)

Lucie and Vincent are amazing hosts, their home is beautiful and exactly as described. We stayed for one night, ut was peaceful, in beautiful surroundings, and Lucie gave us some great recommendations for local wine and food. The breakfast was amazing, a proper French way to start the day out on the little patio. Highly recommend staying with Lucie and Vincent if you are going to the Bordeaux area.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming French guesthouse! Our hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always happy to share great tips and recommendations about the area. The view was absolutely stunning, and the pool area was beautiful – we really enjoyed spending time there. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, with no shortage of coffee. We loved the fresh eggs from the local chickens, who were surprisingly friendly and curious themselves! The house is located in a lovely little village that’s good for peaceful walks, and we were even offered complimentary electric bikes, which was a fantastic bonus. There are also several great restaurants just a short drive away, making it easy to enjoy the local cuisine. Overall, a warm, cozy, and very hospitable place to stay – we highly recommend it!

We felt very comfortable in Josy and Phillipe's accommodation! It was very clean and maintained. The hosts are very friendly and we felt right at home. Unfortunately, there is not much to do in the village, but the coast is only 20-25 minutes away by car. There are also some nice little towns that you can visit!
