Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Aquitaine

We came to spend a weekend with our dog in Stéphane's house. The house is in a very good location, very clean and well-equipped! The host's warm welcome counts a lot, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Thanks again!

Fantastic peaceful location. We stayed here for 2 nights to recharge whilst driving from the UK to Spain. It was exactly as described. The rooms were great, upstairs very comfortable and the views were lovely. Unrestricted hot tub time was a bonus considering we arrived at 11pm after a long day of driving. The pool was refreshing, not heated but it wasn’t needed as it was the perfect temperature. Very innovative. Only one remark: The key to the property was supposed to be an electric tag but they hadn’t told us this was not working and due to be fixed. Therefore when we went out for the day we had to leave the property unlocked. Obviously concerning but the location was very safe. I’m sure others would remove one star due to this, but there was so many positives about this place it would be unfair to lower the rating.

Perfect accommodation for a weekend cocooning with a girlfriend. The psa is very relaxing. We loved our sweet break. The setting is quiet and pleasant.

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. Very peaceful location yet less than 5 minutes drive from Brantome centre. Host was very helpful and responsive and had a whole list of recommendations for local restaurants, places to go, etc etc. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

A charming cottage very close to st emilion town and very close to the station. Sophie was very kind to pick us up and really helpful with suggestions on good restaurants and places to visit. She was very responsive to every request. We really enjoyed our time there. Thanks for being a great host Sophie. I highly recommend this place.

We had a pleasant stay with friends at Joël's. The location is ideal for getting away from city life for a weekend. The many amenities, the layout and the decor give the feeling of being "at home".

Jeremy and Julien's place is superb, quiet and very well equipped. Superb swimming pool and wooded park with small charming places to sit. 20/20 and more!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

Our stay at the beautifully renovated and well appointed stone gîte was very pleasant. It is surrounded by extensive gardens including a clean and private pool .Sean and Bridget gave us a warm welcome and provided us with recommendation for places to go and things to do. What a great place to relax and enjoy the Périgord countryside.

Fantastic house!!!! Very attentive Albert and Helene, solving anything at the moment. Upon our arrival they welcomed us with homemade jam, a very good pate and eggs from their beloved chickens that sipped our puppy... I recommend this history-filled home with a fabulous setting, surrounded by charming villages. The house and setting are much better than the pictures. We will definitely repeat. Best regards.

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

House with lots of character, very well-equipped and very beautiful potential perfectly exploited. Laurence and Jean-Michel are very welcoming, considerate and available. Jean-Michel, a passionate bakery enthusiast, has concocted excellent pastries and bread for our breakfast. (Order on request). Great place for a great relaxing time. Lots of picturesque villages to visit nearby. Thank you, and I look forward to returning.

Beautiful home that matched the listing well: clean, functional and located in a quiet area. We enjoyed the simplicity of the welcome and communication with the host, which was clear and efficient. Special mention for the pool and spa, which were really great! Perfect for relaxing after a good day. Our dog was also well accepted, which was a real plus for us. The surroundings offer good spaces for beautiful hikes.

We had a friendly welcome from Deborah, Simon, and their dog. The Coquet Cottage was beautifully decorated with lovely touches like linen bedding and a nice kitchen area. The grounds were beautiful, our dog loved spending time outside. The outdoor tub was very welcome on a hot day. The hosts recommended the local lake and some dog walking routes. A beautiful part of France, only wish we could have stayed longer!

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. Amazing setting, unparalleled calm, with stunning views of Mont Valier. The accommodation has been renovated with a lot of charm, very functional and very well equipped. Sandrine was responsive to all our questions during the stay. We'll be happy to go back!

We have stayed at a lot of different accommodation over the years and this place is definitely a stand out one! It is so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing and hosts Alicja and Michel are just the loveliest people you could wish to meet. They go above and beyond to make your stay special. Let Alicja cook you dinner, her food is out of this world and Michel is the best waiter, handyman and such good fun to chat to. The only thing we would change is not having to leave 😀 Thank you both so so much , we cannot wait to come back and don’t forget to let us know if you ever want to house swap 😜😜😜

Such a fantastic house to have a holiday. Amazing amenities including the amazing outdoor cooking/bbq space we used a lot. The pool and huge amount of pool games and other games was amazing. The house was really lovely and well located to be able to visit St Emillion, Pomerol, Libourne and other areas quickly. We definitely plan to go back!
