Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Appenzell Ausserrhoden

I was in the house with my parents and sister with 2 children. Everyone felt very comfortable from the start. The house is great and decorated with a lot of love. Nothing is missing. The house is very suitable for children, it has a lot of toys, 2 cribs, baby monitor, etc.

My fiancé and I booked Johannes’ beautiful home to celebrate our Switzerland elopement with our closest friends. Everyone loved how charming the home was and how beautiful the surrounding was. There were lots of cooking tools for us to use. The only real issue was the ceiling above the second flight of stairs…taller people had a difficult time not hitting their head. Other than that, it was a great space to spend time with amazing people.

An enchanting place to stay. We enjoyed a lot with the views and the peace and quiet. The cottage was very comfortably furnished and had all the compfor. We want to visit again. Highly recommended if you like to spend time in nature.

There were two of us in the beautiful part of Wendy and Sven's house. Wendy welcomed us and showed us the charming apartment in her Appenzell house. In the spacious kitchen we were able to cater perfectly, the fridge is large and there is plenty of dishes available. Great that there is also a dishwasher! Tabs, detergent, sponge, enough kitchen towels, everything available. Also plenty of towels and toilet paper. We didn't miss anything. We took beautiful hikes and had good food in neighboring Heiden. We also visited the Henry Dunant Museum in Heiden - very interesting! In the cozy living room, we were able to relax well and review our experiences. The ceilings and door frames are low because it is an old, very pretty, renovated Appenzell house, you have to be a little careful. We're looking forward to our next visit with Wendy and Sven!

Our stay was perfect in all parts. The cottage is centrally located and yet very quiet. The setup is in all parts of the description. We highly recommend holidays in Appenzell.

We stayed at this wonderful place for the 2nd time and enjoyed the 5 days very much. Here we feel very much at home and everything you need is available. The place is very clean, quietly located, cozily furnished, everything is available and Marlis is a super host! What more could you ask for? I'm sure we'll be back! Being able to experience the old New Year's Eve (Chlausen) in Urnäsch was an absolute highlight and very impressive. You can also do great, beautiful hikes in the area. Very friendly hostess. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean. In the kitchen, all kinds of cooking utensils are available. The bathroom has its own washing machine. Parking is very close. Although only 12 hours of parking are officially allowed here, you can also stay longer. There are also parking spaces at the recycling center. The apartment was very cozy in winter, only sometimes a little cold. That may also have been because I didn't quite understand the heating system :). The location is very quiet with good hiking and a very good restaurant in the immediate vicinity. It also has a supermarket within walking distance. I would love to come back anytime

Everything worked out great - from the request to check-out. Irene responds very quickly and welcomed us warmly. The apartment is corresponding to the description and is well equipped. The location is very quiet and the apartment even includes an outdoor seating area. We would come back back.

Berti's apartment was even more beautiful than in the photos. We felt very comfortable from the first moment. Good mattresses, plenty of storage space in the beautiful built-in wardrobes, plenty of towels available in the bathroom: from washcloths, hand towels and even bath towels. Kitchen very well equipped. There were plenty of kitchen towels available, even many coffee capsules, various teas and more. Beautiful, large terrace. In summary: Everything was perfect! This location was perfect for our visit and Daniel responded promptly to all correspondence. Would definitely visit again and would recommend to anyone visiting. The trains are incredibly reliable, providing breathtaking views.

This is a little piece of paradise that I’d warmly recommend to anybody. Birgitta and Stefan were amazing hosts, very friendly and showed us the beautiful nature around. Do not miss the opportunity to explore the amazing hiking in the area. It’s very cost with the animals around. One of the best places we visited on Airbnb, maybe the best actually. Thank you!!
