Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Appenzell Ausserrhoden

Erica's house is very spacious and clean. The atmosphere is peaceful. Patrick (her son) was very helpful during our stay.

I was in the house with my parents and sister with 2 children. Everyone felt very comfortable from the start. The house is great and decorated with a lot of love. Nothing is missing. The house is very suitable for children, it has a lot of toys, 2 cribs, baby monitor, etc.

I was warmly welcomed by Dijana. I was very surprised by the nice apartment. It is quiet and modernly equipped. Would love to come back. All in all, it was great.

Our stay with Stephan was great! He and his partner are very nice and accommodating people with a lot of hospitality. The room is simple but fully equipped. The rest of the house is very lovingly decorated and decorated. There are a lot of great plants... :) We were able to use his kitchen completely, it was everything your heart desires. We enjoyed it very much, we would love to come back.

The property is conveniently close to the train station (2 min) and you can reach St. Gallen by train, for example, in about a quarter of an hour. The area is fantastically beautiful and invites you to long walks and hikes. The space itself is completely as described. There is everything you need, so that longer stays are very possible. The hosts are always very friendly and helpful. You feel extremely comfortable here and can relax very well. I was very satisfied with my stay here and highly recommend this place.

An amazing location , just up from Trogen. A lovely place to stay for a quiet stay except for the cow bells. A lovely host.

Thomas and his mother welcomed us very warmly. The house is very comfortable, has amazing views . The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and tidy and we felt very comfortable. It was a wonderful weekend with my family. Thank you Thomas and your parents. We will be happy to come back.

The apartment was nicely decorated and clean. The check-in instructions were clearly defined and easy to follow, but the check-out was a bit inaccurate, which was not a problem as we only stayed for one night. The view on the spacious balcony is breathtaking and the surroundings very quiet. We particularly liked the newly renovated bathroom, especially the shower. The kitchen was also super equipped. The oil heater heats regularly, although we got slightly cold in the living room after some time, which can also be due to the outside temperatures. We found the smell of heating oil to be no longer disruptive after a short time. The bedroom was cozy and the bed relatively comfortable. The private parking was free. Overall, we were very happy with the space.

We loved staying at Werner's place. It was perfect for a few days stay, allowed us easy access Appenzell, and was a great spot for us to disconnect. The home was great, very quiet, clean, and had trails right out the door. Highly recommend if you're looking for a spot just outside of town.

Many thanks to Andrea for this excellent stay in St. Gallen while being a visiting Professor at Universität St. Gallen for two weeks. Andrea allowed a flexible check-in and supplied some food basics to get me started. Very much appreciated and Andrea is friendly and professional. The apartment is exactly as described, spotlessly clean and well furnished. A beautiful space. The kitchen is well appointed and had all the necessary bits and pieces. The apartment is only a 1km walk to the old town in St. Gallen, and a 5 minute walk up the hill to the main university campus. Andrea had tips for forest runs/walks, as well as advice on where to shop. All super helpful. I would certainly stay again.

Perfect location, walking distance to great restaurants and attractions and close by the train station. Its a beautiful place with a lots of character.

The apartment is nicely located and was very clean. It is also well equipped and of high quality, the kitchen lacks nothing. Valdenia was always available and friendly. We felt very comfortable!
