Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Appenzell Ausserrhoden

Erica's house is very spacious and clean. The atmosphere is peaceful. Patrick (her son) was very helpful during our stay.

There were two of us in the beautiful part of Wendy and Sven's house. Wendy welcomed us and showed us the charming apartment in her Appenzell house. In the spacious kitchen we were able to cater perfectly, the fridge is large and there is plenty of dishes available. Great that there is also a dishwasher! Tabs, detergent, sponge, enough kitchen towels, everything available. Also plenty of towels and toilet paper. We didn't miss anything. We took beautiful hikes and had good food in neighboring Heiden. We also visited the Henry Dunant Museum in Heiden - very interesting! In the cozy living room, we were able to relax well and review our experiences. The ceilings and door frames are low because it is an old, very pretty, renovated Appenzell house, you have to be a little careful. We're looking forward to our next visit with Wendy and Sven!

Very well located accommodation in the area, surrounded by beautiful scenery and quiet. Typical chalet of the area. Vintage interior, very well equipped. Ceiling height indeed low for tall people but Ok for the others.

We had a great weekend. In the tranquility and nature we were able to relax very much. The place is large and very quiet.

Petra responded very quickly and well to inquiries. We felt very comfortable in the old Swiss house with beautiful furnishings. The location is nice and quiet and you can quickly get to the sights in Appenzellerland from there. We loved it.

We enjoyed our stay with amazing view, this place very close to ski for winter time and lake at summer time! Sauna is a big bonus, unfortunately pool was closed (I guess because it’s not a season), but I would love to jump into it after sauna😅!! Place was clean and have everything you need.

A nice, clean place to stay. Right at the entrance to the hiking trail. This apartment is a dream for children. It has a lot to play and discover. The small animals were very popular and exciting until the end. The children were able to help in the barn. For our taste, too much emphasis is placed on the rules and regulations. Very friendly, helpful hosts. Beautiful, well-kept and well-equipped apartment with large furnished terrace and great views. We enjoyed our stay in Rebstein very much and were also culinary on our account. Rebstein is well developed in terms of public transport. Since the apartment is a little higher in the slope, it is more suitable for guests with car, but not exclusively!

The stay was very nice! The place was clean, cozy and perfect for relaxing - exactly as described. Communication with Anke was easy and fast. Location was perfect. We would come back anytime!

We had a great time at the cottage on the Sitter. It is really very cozy and equipped with everything you need. The location is idyllic. The communication with Claudia was always straightforward and friendly.

Just like in the pictures; nothing was missing in the kitchen. Outside maybe instructions on how to use the oven; very quiet !! great view; beautiful covered terrace; light dimmable at the dining table

The apartment and especially the terrace have a perfect view of the lake. The lake can also be reached in a few minutes (Lago Mio). We were warmly greeted by Vreni and always felt comfortable. The apartment is well-equipped and looks the same as shown on the pictures. We were particularly pleased with the equipment of the kitchen (spices, pans, pots, toaster ...). The only thing that bothered us about the apartment was the creaking bed in the bedroom.

We were able to spend wonderful days with our two dogs in this enchanting chalet. The house is extremely cozy and warmly furnished. We enjoyed long hikes on site, which were great with the dogs. Karina is exceptionally warm, helpful and responds quickly. We will be happy to come back and highly recommend this charming chalet with fenced garden and great views.

We had a great stay in Herisau. The apartment was spacious with the listed amenities and within about 10minutes walk of nearby supermarkets. Host was also friendly and responsive to any queries we had.
