#Depot - Grassy Creek Cabooses

KayRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is the second time that we have stayed with Donnie. The first time was in one of the cabooses. This time we stayed in The Depot. Both of these places were as described and pictured! I had good enough phone service that we did not miss having WiFi and there was cable for television. I had two children with me, an eight year old and a twelve year old, and they were both fine there! And we could look out the front door and see Buffalo Mountain. Because of Hurricane Helene damage, we did not get to go there but it was not for lack of trying! Sunday morning before we left, I got to see a deer in the pasture behind the depot! And some beautiful sunrises!

#042 - Grassy Creek Cabooses

MistyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We wanted to do something unique & different for our anniversary & this did NOT disappoint. From the “main” road you can see the 3 red cabooses up on the hill & our hearts smiled. They recently had storms & we could see where the flood waters deteriorated the sides of the driveway but it was still wide enough for us to pass another small vehicle if needed. Office Check in was a breeze and took less than five mins before we were standing in our getaway train(caboose) which is on a real track! We were the only ones staying this weekend but if others were present, there was plenty of room. Our furbabies throughly enjoyed having a large field in front of the cabooses to run in. The views from the swings were breathtaking especially during the sunsets. Once Inside, we enjoyed the comforts of home (except for a stove). The hotness of the water & the relaxing hot tub added to our experience. Some things were dated but that is to come with the territory. We hope to visit again in the fall.

The Hocking Hills Caboose

NicoleRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Clean! Smelled great too. Geat distance (within 10min) to hiking (Ash Cave) in one direction and then a pizzeria with all kinds of drinks and snacks in the other. On a fairly traveled road in front, but also a great small space to explore right behind and firepit. Well kept! It was great for our young family. Very fun.

Mo-Pac Couples Caboose: on a bison ranch

MichelleRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Cheryl's place was fantastic! The caboose was so cute and cozy. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. We enjoyed all the animals. The bison feeding was fun to watch, Cheryl's parents provided a lot of interesting facts about the bison. Looking forward to going back and taking the grandkids!

Apple Ridge Farm Caboose Bed & Breakfast - #1

DebbieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our fourth stay at Apple Ridge! The cabooses are perfect to stay in and the location is so peaceful & relaxing. We go to get away from the hustle & bustle of life. We enjoy walks around the property and read books. When ready we head into Floyd for drinks (wine, beer & spirits) and food. Excellent hiking trails throughout the area. Definitely a place to visit!

Perfect space for 2 people. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean. We enjoyed the very quiet neighborhood and the scenic view out the sliding door. It was nice to sit on the deck and have coffee. We would definitely stay again.

Warm n Cozy B&O Blue Train caboose with great view

JeremyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The Blue Caboose was extremely clean and has everything you need. I met my fiancée there. She came down for the weekend from Cleveland and I short drive from Ravenswood. We enjoyed the tiny home living and the location is great. Right outside of downtown Marietta. Another nice thing is that we ran into Bryan at the Earth Day festivities and he recognized me from staying at his caboose. We appreciate everything and had a wonderful time. We'll be back for sure!!!

Stay in a Caboose! | HOT TUB | Close to Asheville

BriannaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Our family of 4 (8 year old child and 1 year old) had a great time. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our youngest. We were close to the city everything we did was close in distance. We loved the cozy atmosphere of the train it was just enough space for the 4 of us. We will definitely be back.

The Caboose + Hot Tub I Fire Pit

KathrynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The owner was very responsive. The Caboose had everything we needed for a quick stay (including ice cubes that were already made, and a Brita that was already filled!). It was really clean and looked exactly like the pictures. I have never stayed in an Airbnb that felt so ready for guests. The whole experience was great and I would definitely stay again!

The Caboose

TishaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We loved staying at The Lost Pearl! Very cool place! We stayed in the Pirate room the first 2 nights then the caboose the last night. So beautiful and neat, antique decor throughout the historical home. Daniel greeted us and helped us when needed with recommendations , but also let us do our own thing! They have goats and a mini store packed full of goat milk products & fun things! You can feed the goats. The breakfast that was made for us Saturday morning was DELICIOUS. He recommended the perfect winery/brewery to meet both our needs, a perfect hike-park area that took us to a local waterfall. No tv in the pirate room- we brought our projector and watched Pirates of the Caribbean and Titanic! Caboose has a smart tv and heater. We had a wedding our last night near by, came back to a fire built for us. Each room included a book with history about the property and local areas, recommendations to restaurants and sites, wineries, antique shops and so much more! We will be back! Loved it!

1945 Canadian Pacific Caboose 437183

JanRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a lovely night in the Caboose. It was exactly as described. The beds were comfortable and as I read it could be a little light at night in another review, I brought an eye mask. It really wasn't that bright - my husband certainly didn't notice. There was air conditioning which worked well. As described, the washrooms and kitchen are in the museum, so perhaps bring a robe if you need to get up at night. Those facilities were shared with two other Cabooses, but there was lots of room and we only rarely saw other people. The staff were helpful and friendly.
