Our Curious | Opossum Hollow

Welcome to Opossum Hollow in the quaint mountain town of Travelers Rest! Our partially restored 1984 Airstream Excella, lovingly referred to as `Possum Holler', is situated on the same property as our home. With a covered space for parking and a 35 foot skylight deck, this outdoor space is designed for cool evening lounging and warm afternoon napping. We worked with a number of local artisans to design and create the entire space, ensuring most every element is handmade, upcycled, and recycled!

Take it easy at our renovated 1973 Airstream in Hot Springs, NC surrounded by nature and farm animals. Panther Branch Farm sits on 30 acres of lush mountainous terrain with streams, waterfalls and hiking trails to explore. On our small farm we have chickens, bees, goats, and alpacas that love to be hand-fed. Unwind in our outdoor spa, with a sauna and a natural spring water bath or simply relax and take in the peaceful views of the National Forest from the front door of this beautiful Airstream.

Perched at the tip of our private island on Pattagansett Lake, the Panoramic Point Tiny House is our coziest yet most charming retreat. Perched 15 feet up in the Tennessee woods, The Treehouse is where you come to celebrate something — an anniversary, a proposal, a birthday, or just the fact that you finally stopped. Hand-built by Amish craftsmen with an 1848 front door and 100-year-old stained glass, it pairs a cast iron claw-foot tub for two, a king bed, and a private hot tub under the stars with full access to a sauna, cold plunge, and more. 1 hour from Nashville, 15 minutes from Cookeville. Just far enough to feel gone.

The Stargazer tent is a unique, luxurious camping experience with exquisite views & privacy. Enjoy the sounds of nature while gazing at the stars. The campsite is on 40 acres of fields & woodland & is home to an active organic farm. The tent site abuts the Coxingkill creek. We provide cookware, stove, grill, bedding, towels & water for cooking & drinking. There’s a picnic table, benches, chairs & an outhouse.
