Luxury rentals in Appalachian Mountains

Beautiful property. Better than the photos. Strict rules posted pre checkin but no issues at the house at all. Responsive host. Very clean. Had everything we needed and wanted. There were a bit of spiders on the dock by the lake but that is also part of being at a lake house. Beds were comfortable! I would return to this property!

We had an amazing time at this house! Upon entering, our jaws dropped—it was absolutely gorgeous! We were in awe of how spacious and beautifully designed it was. The house looked even better in person than in the photos. Everything was spotless, and it had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We were a group of 12 (6 kids and 6 adults) and felt right at home. The kitchen was fully equipped, which was perfect since we cooked a lot during our stay. The kids absolutely loved the attic—it was such a fun space for them to play. The game room was also a big hit for our whole family! (We had a family air hockey tournament!) The management was so responsive anytime we had questions or concerns, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this place!

This is affectionately our home away from home after having stayed here a few times. Arifur is always responsive and friendly and the home has everything we need and then some. Our family enjoyed staying there with room for all and enough amenities to keep everyone entertained. We will definitely look to stay here again when in Atlanta.

We were blown away by this rental. The pictures don't do it justice. The home was beautiful and very well appointed. Plenty of kitchen appliances & supplies, linens & towels, and toiletries. There was plenty for all of us to do, with a pickleball/basketball court, hot tub, pool, firepit, and kayaks. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet and safe. Overall, we were very pleased.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at Alex's place! From the very beginning, Alex was responsive, accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and exceeded our expectations. A special shoutout to Natalie, who was incredibly attentive and friendly. She ensured that everything was in perfect working order and even went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. I highly recommend Alex's place to anyone looking for a seamless and enjoyable Airbnb experience. We would love to come back!

Really beautiful place! Incredible views and awesome family getaways. Also really loved having chef Peter from Carolina gourmet — it brought the experience full circle with his tasting menu. Family is considering making it an annual getaway!

Everything about the place was great, had a small issue with the bathrooms but management came that day to fix. Another small issue that wasn’t the fault of the place but because it’s in a high traffic area it can be extremely noisy and loud at night on a weekend. Otherwise a wonderful stay.

Enjoyed this GetAway at Lake Norman. Was nice to enjoy and take the time to surprise my woman’s birthday. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Nice neighborhood. Quiet at night. Definitely would consider a stay at (Stay At Lake Norman) again. Next time we come when it’s warmer definitely doing to bring the jet skis and or the boat. Thanks again and Lord willing we will return for another visit. Our Bernese mountain dog loved it as well. That’s another reason we stayed so the baby didn’t have to stay at home.
