Your whole group (of up to 20) will be comfortable in this spacious & unique Lighthouse home in Grindstone City (technically Port Austin MI). You can bring your own boat/Jet-ski & park in our boat slip a few steps out the front door at the marina. Kayak to Turnip Rock, book a fishing charter & enjoy your fresh catch for dinner at the neighboring restaurant, relax at our private sandy beach w/ tiki bar on Lake Huron among so many other fun things around Port Austin, Grindstone City, & Caseville.

Lighthouse keeper's refuge

A small comfortable historic refuge for two attached to the Cap-Chat Lighthouse. You will stay at the place where the alternate lighthouse caretaker remained to give a respite to the caretaker of the main lighthouse, at the time when the weight used to turn the lighthouse prism, was to be reassembled every three hours. The Cap-Chat lighthouse is one of the very rare ones that still works with the pristine. Terrace with splendid view. Access to the toilet block. Dry toilet in the Refuge.

Excellent location to enjoy a great vacation close to everything! Great view from balcony and vaulted ceilings with skylights creating lots of sunshine!

Built in 1838, the Selkirk Lighthouse still guards the Salmon River harbor at its convergence with Lake Ontario. Rental options are FIRST FLOOR ONLY, SECOND FLOOR ONLY or the ENTIRE Lighthouse. Its beacon shines brightly today for fishing charters that call the marina home and for mariners and guests enjoying a special stay in this historic structure. Lighthouse-themed gift items, tees, polos, sweatshirts, hoodies, beverages and snacks are available in our Marina Store/Gift Shop.

This home sits directly across from captains quarters, so sit back, relax and enjoy the music from live bands right on the dock or deck. Bring the boat or other water toys to enjoy the water right from the 50'x10' dock. The home features 3 bedrooms, with 2 queen beds, 1 king bed. Home has sono's throughout for streaming music.

Lighthouse of the Mid-South

Recently remodeled! New second story addition! An Amish built lighthouse that has been furnished and is tucked away in the county but only 15 min from downtown and APSU. The heating and cooling is an in-wall unit as well as a space heater. It's situated on a pond across a foot bridge from the barn. Behind is 4 acres of trees with trails through it that run up to a cattle pasture. There is plenty of space to roam with a play set to entertain the kids.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and cared for by the Calvert Marine Museum (CMM), the Cove Point Lighthouse historic site has been lovingly restored and re-purposed so that it can be enjoyed by all. The active lighthouse and keeper's home sit on a seven-acre point of land in one of the narrowest points of the Chesapeake Bay.
