Vacation rentals with a sauna in Appalachian Mountains

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

Looks exactly as listed! Great views from the balcony with nice natural light from inside. The evenings had plenty of relaxing fireplace heaters inside with dim light settings. Heated bathroom floor was my personal favorite. A great park to walk in nearby made it the perfect relaxing getaway we were hoping for!

Loved staying here! The place was super clean and the views of downtown were amazing. It’s in a great spot — I could walk to pretty much everything I needed. David and Mátti’s place is truly special. I feel very lucky that we got to stay there for a few days! Thank you to our hosts for creating such a serene, comfortable space. They went out of their way to say hello and make us feel at home. We had a barbecue one night, and David even brought over extra strong bug spray! We also love supporting the incredible work that they are doing with artists. My friends and I would love to stay here again for another trip to the Berkshires.

Lovely place,just as described. River running out back,very peaceful and picturesque. Basia and Bradley communicated very well . They checked in at various times to make sure we had what we needed. Comfortable beds and very clean invironment. Thank you again for having us.

Th space was immaculate, well maintained, nicely designed as well as decorated. Our only concern was that there was no stove for our teenage son to cook on. There was a microwave and toaster broiler that worked just fine for him. However, the sauna was an amazing perk. The setting was very calm and relaxed. Rachel was an excellent host and left a kind graduation card and bottle of Spumante for us to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation. We would highly recommend this space and would rent again. Beautifully updated condo with great views. Host was very responsive. The unit was nice an clean and fully stocked with everything you needed including a very nice coffee maker! The master bedroom does get a little hotter than the rest of the unit but the view with floor to ceiling windows is worth making the rest of the unit a little chilly to compensate. I would definitely recommend this place!

This place was a gem - so clean & with a great location. It was also fully stocked which made it very easy to cook and the dishwasher was honestly one of the best we’ve ever used. Would recommend and honestly will stay again if returning!

This beautiful house in the woods was even better than expected - incredibly private, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. We loved just relaxing to the sounds of the nearby creek and playing music on the vinyl player - such a special touch. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. It’s also not far from Minnewaska State Park, which made hiking super convenient. Couldn’t have asked for more. We’d love to come back!

Tom and Carol’s place is top-notch! It’s rare to find a getaway spot that’s both tucked away in a pristine natural setting and which contains all the modern amenities one could ask for. To top it off, Tom’s artwork and sculptures beautifully adorn the property, which makes the apartment and its location feel like there’s a little magic around every corner. Tom and Carol are fantastic hosts; we felt right at home upon arrival. The small towns nearby also had some great restaurants with a welcoming vibe and friendly folks to boot!

I don’t even know where to begin. We have stayed over 75 air bnb’s and this one by far has surpassed our experiences. You do not need to leave the premises at all! We stayed for 2 nights and felt like it was not enough time. Paul and Donna submerged you to total relaxation, party, and fun for every age. My 1 year old had everything she needed and 4 year old loved every activity to the adults having so Much fun! The house is so beautifully decorated inside and out and will be coming back so soon to bring our friends for a parents getaway trip!

The perfect romantic getaway! My partner and I rented it as a mini-honeymoon after our wedding, and it was the perfect spot to unwind and refresh. The place struck a wonderful balance between feeling like home and an escape. With so many vintage games, art, and things to explore inside the house, we never left during our 2-day stay!

T was very helpful and polite during our stay. He was responsive to text and proactive in giving us instructions on how to use the amenities. The house was private and had a great view of the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend the place to others.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Mountain Milla! The cabin was beautiful and full of modern amenities. Using the sauna and hot tub was the best way to start my days surrounded by nature. I will absolutely be back!
