Chalet vacation rentals in Annecy

Overall: Came for a winter skiing week with 3 adults and 2 children. Everyone was very satisfied with this very nice chalet -- but prepare yourself for some low ceilings. Pros: Larger than we were expecting. Split toilet and shower helps with larger group. Lots of places to dry your wet items. Area outside for kids to play in snow with toys and sled(ge)s available. Sheltered picnic table just outside the front door. Able to borrow a variety of cooking equipment for making local delicacies. Extremely helpful host. Beautiful interior and exterior. Cons: You WILL bump your head on the large ceiling joist over the beds in the 3-bed room. No matter how much you think you have learned where it is, you haven't. On the last day while packing achieved concussion level impact with this joist, despite a week of experience. Other low areas such as over stairs could be an issue for a taller person. Garage has limited space for accessing vehicle and we parked only half into the garage.

We had a very pleasant stay in Laurence's chalet. Ideally located on the slopes, start and return on skis. This location is for those looking for peace and proximity to nature. I warmly recommend this atypical place hoping to return.

Great extended weekend at Amandine's. The cottage is comfortable and friendly. The Nordic bath is a plus. The nearby hikes are very beautiful! A small haven of peace!

Met our expectations if not more! Everything we were looking for was there...calm and authenticity. Flawless accommodation, from the choice of decoration to cleanliness, not to mention the little extras that make the difference and the success of a stay. Excellent stay at Franck’s Chalet. As a family of 4 this has everything you need even some toys for the kids to play with. Sallanches is just a 6 min drive downhill and the elevation of the Chalet makes for an impressive view of the Mont Blanc Massif. A Very warm house thanks to underfloor heating. Plenty of storage space. We will definitely be back in the future. Thank you.

We had a dreamy week at this cottage. The landscape is simply breathtaking, ideal for rejuvenating and enjoying nature. The cottage was impeccably clean, very cozy and perfectly equipped to meet all our needs. Fabienne is adorable, always available and very welcoming. A true haven of peace where we hope to return very soon! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get away and have a great experience for this vacation. Thanks again!

I thank Laurent for his great kindness. Our stay was really very pleasant in a beautiful setting. The cottage matches the photos and is very well-equipped. You will find everything you need to cook with all types of accessories and machines as well as a lot of equipment made available to make you feel at home. There are raclette machines and there are fondue machines. All linens are provided as well as towels. Laurent also allows us to come with our animals which is a great plus for this stay. I would totally recommend this place which allows us a total change of scenery. See you soon.

Good facilities, ample space for equipment and well furnished. Toilets and rooms were clean. Location is slightly far from town centre, but that also means peace and quiet at night.Capacity for both washer and dryer could be slightly bigger, given how accommodation is meant for 14 people .Jacuzzi was a bonus after a day of riding in the Alps.

We had a wonderful time at the chalet. Very beautiful, very well furnished. Very comfortable bedding. Warm welcome by Julien, who was available for any questions 24/7. The cottage is located in Bettex, 5 min drive and 15-20 min walk to the Bettex ski resort, family-friendly (sledding, skiing, restaurant). St Gervais is a 10-minute drive down the valley.

Very large cottage at the foot of hiking trails. A quiet place, ideal to recharge your batteries. We were 8 adults and a baby, we could easily have been 2 more adults. The Jacuzzi is a real plus!

Beautiful stay in Delphine's chalet. Excellent communication and availability to meet all of our expectations. Very comfortable, great view, easy to access and 5" from the Princess's gondola. Ideal for families with children. We highly recommend it.

Beautiful views over looking the lake and the mountains. The hike up to the place is totally worth it and Gerard was a star for bringing the quad bike and transporting the luggage up.

We really enjoyed staying at the Chalet. We went skiing at Portes du Soleil which is a very large skiable area connecting 10 ski villages including 4 in Switzerland. The Ardent lift is just a few minutes drive down the road and you can buy lift tickets at the lift. If you don’t have a car or if you don’t want to drive it, there are free shuttle buses (at least in winter) that go around the area. And for sure to the Ardent lift(gondola). Lake Montroid is beautiful and the views don’t get old! The Chalet has great views. I used the sauna and even did a cold plunge in the fountain. It makes you feel alive. We ate at the restaurant at Hotel du Lac and had a delicious dinner. and we recommend going into Morzine and trying the French pastries at La Bonbonniere (a highly rated bakery) The hike up the mountain to the chalet does take effort, but it is worth it. I wasn’t looking forward to that hike after the second day of skiing, but other times were fine. A small waterfall is on the path.

Very good stay in a small Savoyard mazot, very peaceful and beautiful environment with a magnificent view, beautiful walks nearby. Everything you need for 2 people, with small balcony and table in the garden. We recommend!

This is an amazing place to stay for a large family. Isabelle was great to deal with and replied to messages very quickly. The rooms are spacious and well thought out. The outside area is great for dining etc. The house has everything you need. thanks for having us.
