Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Andros

we had a great time at George's place. the apartment is as described and shown in the photos. it is located in a quiet area and peace reigns supreme. the outdoor space overlooking the sea is really nice! George was a very helpful and discreet host.

George und Roula were great hosts, very friendly and helpful. There was marmalade and a very tasty cake waiting for me on arrival. I was picked up and returned to the bus station. The flat is right by the sea and there's a great terrace to enjoy the view from. The tavernas and restaurants on the seafront and in the Chora are only a few minutes walk. So all in all: perfect!

This beautiful, character filled traditional Andriotic Neoclassical accommodation was just amazing. I felt very much welcomed and comfortable and the location was superb being a short walk to the main street of shops, cafes, churches and wonderful atmosphere that is Chora. Louisa went above and beyond to provide local information and dining suggestions. We were staying over the Easter Celebrations as well and certainly Louisa's knowledge passed on to us helped maximise our travel experience. Nicole assisted hosting and was friendly and extremely welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay and of course have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation. I believe where I stay during travel is critical in enhancing my enjoyment and I have chosen well with this place. Victoria Mascord

very nice apartment in a good location

Our stay at Olea cottage was nothing but magical; the view of the sea, the chirping cicadas, the rush of the wind in the olive trees and the glorious sunset and starry skies. As we were just the two of us, we only used the top floor of the cottage, providing everything we needed. To wake up every morning with such a gorgeous view of the sea is just so relaxing and serene. You are surrounded by nature and peace. The owner recommended some very nice restaurants and places to visit and was a joy to talk to and not invasive at all. Tip: Make sure to check out the magazines on the coffee table as they have loads of brilliant inside information on Andros. We hope to return soon to Andros and Olea cottage as it has captured our hearts.

Dora’s place is very comfy, peaceful and private with a gorgeous view. We felt at home immediately and loved waking to the sun rising over the Aegean. A few minutes’ drive and you’re at low-key Gialia beach with crystal clear water. Just a single row of sunloungers at €8 a pair and a pretty cafe behind. Drive a few more minutes’ and you have the hustle and bustle of Chora. Dora’s place is a unique spot with easy access to beach, town and walks. Great value.

You have to make some effort to get there because located high on the mountain but then you really have something. A cool and authentic house. Tastefully decorated and all the most important things are provided. Most importantly: the view and the absolute silence. I believe there are few places where you can still experience this. This is one of them. Didn't do anything about the activities, like reading a book, that I had planned. Just “being” and looking at the mountains, sea and the stars are the big plus and to which this stay invites you to. Beach is at your doorstep (just descending the mountain) There is a good tavern nearby (15 min walk). Furthermore, you will need a car. If you would like to leave:) This address would like to keep you secret.

We had a great time at Peter's house. Petros is very welcoming and helpful! He had taken care of everything necessary and not! The house was very beautiful, clean and nice location with amazing views. Our stay and the holidays were very beautiful. We'll be back!! ;)

Valentini is an excellent host, responsive, friendly and helpful. Her place is very nicely done, maintaining an authentic vibe. Close to the Chora of Andros but also quite private - thoroughly recommended!

Spacious apartment near the harbour with everything within reach. Friendly host. Only the lock of the insidedoor waa a bit too difficult for us. When we come back we surely choose Dimitris.

Ioannis home was lovely, perfect location, the bus from the ferry stops just outside the home, which is across the road from the ocean. Ioannis is warm and friendly and makes you feel so welcome. The home is spotlessly clean, we had fresh linen after 2nights, a bottle of very nice wine, coffee,tea and so many special extras. The views from the balcony are across the water I would highly recommend staying at Ioannis home. Batsi and the countryside around just perfect the whole experience .

Theofilos was very kind and responsive. The house is in a good location at the centre of Batsi and was very clean. However, there was some noise at the night because of the clubs nearby. Although it is highly recommended!

A wonderful stay, a perfect host, kind, attentive, helped and advised us. The service is dreamy, daily cleaning and change of towels and linens if necessary. This makes the stay even more relaxing. The apartment is very nice, with attention to detail and super clean. Slightly hard beds but with all the pillows available, we slept comfortably! Perfect location, close enough to get there with a pleasant walk in the center of Batsi, but far enough from the hustle and bustle to sleep peacefully and enjoy a wonderful view. The host, mother of Dimitrios, welcomed my familiy with domestic sweets and three baloons in the room for the children. Super frindly and warm. Always giving some sweets to little ones, which they adore. The room was clean and the bed sheets and towels were changed every three days. The beach is in walking distance, with natural shadow and the water is not too deep, so it is perfect for the families. Wonderful stay at Dimitrios place that I would always recommend.

I had a wonderful stay, the view was beautiful and everything was walkable from trails to beaches to restaurants and stores. It’s located 30 seconds away from a small beach perfect for early morning and afternoon swims. The host is very helpful and very responsive. The bus schedule is slightly hard to follow but if you ask around you can figure it out. The apartment met my needs very well.

We loved our stay in the historic mansion! The location was amazing and the space is lovely to spend time in. The beach across the bay from the house was great with kids and it was wonderful to be a staircase away from all the shops and restaurants of the Main Street. Alexandros was very helpful and knowledgeable - we highly recommend his place if you are ever headed to Chora.

Our month here was absolutely magical. We loved the (three!) balconies and having the sea so close we could hear the waves. The house is spacious and well-equipped, with fast and reliable WiFi, and Doros was super responsive and helpful!

Great location with top views of the island’s harbour. The decoration was great and included everything that might be needed during one’s stay. The location was really easy to find, 2 minutes by car from the harbour, so there were many options to eat, drink or shop. The host was very responsive and friendly. Overall, we had a great time!

From this beautiful studio you can look out at the sea, walk to the beach for swimming whenever you like. There is a perfect sea breeze to make the temperatures so comfortable. Costa and his ‘dream team’ were so welcoming and helpful. The sunsets are the best on the Island, I cannot recommend this lovely peaceful spot more.
