Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Andros

Centrally located in Batsi, the house is completely functional and - mainly - it is a house and not a room. It has an atmosphere and a home feeling. It was our best stay and we've been going to Andros for at least 10 years now.

Dora’s place is very comfy, peaceful and private with a gorgeous view. We felt at home immediately and loved waking to the sun rising over the Aegean. A few minutes’ drive and you’re at low-key Gialia beach with crystal clear water. Just a single row of sunloungers at €8 a pair and a pretty cafe behind. Drive a few more minutes’ and you have the hustle and bustle of Chora. Dora’s place is a unique spot with easy access to beach, town and walks. Great value.

Beautiful house restored with great care and tastefully decorated. Beyond our expectations. Ricardo is particularly friendly. The most beautiful house we rented in Greece in the years we have been traveling the islands. We highly recommend it and are sure to come back.

You have to make some effort to get there because located high on the mountain but then you really have something. A cool and authentic house. Tastefully decorated and all the most important things are provided. Most importantly: the view and the absolute silence. I believe there are few places where you can still experience this. This is one of them. Didn't do anything about the activities, like reading a book, that I had planned. Just “being” and looking at the mountains, sea and the stars are the big plus and to which this stay invites you to. Beach is at your doorstep (just descending the mountain) There is a good tavern nearby (15 min walk). Furthermore, you will need a car. If you would like to leave:) This address would like to keep you secret.

Peaceful, private and comfortable house in the middle of a green area. Excellent balance between the sea climate and the forrest breeze. It has several terraces to match the sun/shade/wind conditions during the day. The house is well equipped and had everything that we needed, and more. It’s tastefully decorated, and architecturally well-implemented. Few stairs but good for our cardio. It ticked all of our boxes for a relaxed holidays. Perfect location, not far from Chora (approx. 5 mins drive), and well positioned to choose from a variety of beautiful beaches at both sides of the island. Several tavernas with traditional (fabulous) local food to choose from. Mihalis provided the most detailed written guidance I’ve ever seen, covering main attractions/beaches/tavernas/house instructions, etc. He was always available for any advice, and gosh, is he well informed! The concierges at 4 Seasons could learn. Thank you Mihalis for letting us into your wonderful island world for a while!!!

We had an amazing visit in Andros at this home! It is absolutely beautiful. The home inside is perfectly clean with lovely decor. The home feels new inside with rustic island charm on the outside - gorgeous kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. The patio is one of a kind with a view that we will never forget! The pool is clean and wonderful for the hot summer days, and the beach is just down the hill accessible by foot with chairs and a cafe. We also enjoyed the taverna just at the top of the hill, also within walking distance! The home keepers and owners were very helpful and responsive, we felt right at home! We certainly will be back and cannot rate this home high enough.

Three phrases for a sensational experience of staying in Andros, at "Etoile De Mer Villa" 1- Breathtaking views. Such a setting surely inspired Odysseus Elytis, Kiki Dimoula and so many Greek poets who praised the dazzling light of the Cyclades... Kea, Kythnos, Syros... even Paros spread out before you like in an airplane... A catharsis from the intensity of the western way of life, a soul-lifting in the most beautiful scenery we could imagine... 2- Discreet luxury. The swimming pool, the dining room with its barbecue and outdoor kitchen , the stone terraces and dry stone walls, the century-old olive trees and bougainvillea create an atmosphere of discreet luxury and island simplicity that fascinates you. 3- Absolute Hospitality. But what we will never forget is the hospitality! Mrs. Eleni's welcome, George's discreet but ever-present care, but most importantly the positive energy of the villa owner made our escape unforgettable

The house is very nice and comfortable and the location is fantastic. We spent some nice evenings in the outdoor area and enjoyed the nice swimming pool. The owners, George and Alexandra, were very helpful and hospitable and we spent beautiful days in Andros. Thanks for everything.

Absolutely stunning place. If one would dream of what paradise on Earth would look like in a Cyclad Island context, Amalia’s Gardens would be the place. The house, carefully restored with great taste and traditional building works, is amazing. Beautifully decorated, with all the modern comfort and all necessary appliances (fully equiped kitchen, air conditioned, TV, wifi etc). Great terrace and swimming pool with a wonderful view on the sea. And all this is located in the most beautiful, quiet, exclusive and private surroundings. If what you want for your holidays is beauty, quietness, nature and sun, yet 5min away from a beautiful small beach (with 2 taverns and a few sunbeds) and 20min away from all shops and restaurants in Gavrio, Amalia Gardens is your place. The cherry on top of this already fantastic place is Charis. What a wonderful host. Super caring, reactive, and willing -if you want it- to help you disciver the many attractions of his island. Thank you Charis !

Brian's property is amazing and looks exactly like in the pictures, perfectly decorated, it is evident that they have thought of all the little details. The house was incredibly clean, Brian's service and communication with him exceeded all expectations, highly recommend!

We had a great time in a wonderful house. It is very privately located. Another house is located above it on the slope - but this was not occupied at the time of our trip. We traveled with six people and had a total of four double rooms and three bathrooms available. One of them is on the first floor. On the first floor, the layout is extremely spacious with a very well-equipped and functional kitchen. The house has a magnificent terrace, a wonderful garden and a magnificent swimming pool. It was pleasantly fresh, but not too cold. Everything makes a very neat and sparkling clean impression. We were in constant contact with the landlady and she always responded very helpfully to any questions within minutes. There are beautiful beaches nearby and good restaurants to discover on the island. Here, too, the tips were really valuable. Ideally, you need a rental car. In short, really great!

We were a family of four traveling with grandma and wanted third bedroom where my mom could relax away from the kids. We love this area of Andros due to its proximity to the port and Agios Petros Beach. The property features stunning views of the sea and a plunge pool the kids made good use of in between visits to the beach. There is also a sizeable balcony off the two bedrooms upstairs. This is a modern, clean, corporate rental with the usual furnishings. The kitchen is small for a three-bedroom rental but perfectly serviceable (and who wants to cook on vacation!). Each villa (standalone houses) has its own parking space. There is a small grocer just down the road and a larger grocery store on the main road. We were grateful for the late check-out and seamless communication.

We loved Clio’s place from the moment we arrived! - even before, as Clio’s pre-arrival messages & instructions were super friendly & helpful. The house is really all about the wonderful outdoor terrace area (it was parent heaven to be able to send our 2 kids across the small road to the tiny but lovely beach a few meters away), & the superb location within incredibly easy walking distance to a range of great restaurants & also bakeries, and some other small shops (including an excellent ceramic artisan). Inside was very clean & functional - a basic 2 bedrooms, small bathroom, & combined living room with small kitchen. But we spent most of our time on the terrace, in the hammock/deckchairs, eating outside, or walking left to a fun beach bar or a delicious restaurant, or walking right to the lovely small village & another small beach & various restaurants. Clio was full of local knowledge & recos, available when needed (including a flat car battery!), kind to our kids: wonderful!

The Priest’s House is representative of proper old fashioned holiday making of the best sort. Clean, practical, comfortable, great location, stunning views; Andros never changes and The Priest’s House represents the best of this magnificent and relatively unknown island. Hire a car from Anna Vrettou one minute from ferry terminal in Gavrion and 10 minutes later you are in the hills and relaxing in the calm environment of The Priest’s House. Great beaches w bars/restaurants at Vitali (delicious pina coladas) Fellos and Zorgos. A week is too short to explore caves, shop in Andros Town, unwind whilst playing hours of backgammon. Next year we’ll stay for a fortnight. Best of all the locals are very friendly and welcoming, and there are hardly any British holiday makers! Tim is a wonderful host and extremely helpful.

Very nice host and great accommodation! It is close to Andros port and a small private beach. Strongly recommend it for your stay in Gavrio.

Great hospitality and beautiful view!

Stelio greeted us after agreeing to let us check in a little early. He was very kind and sweet and showed us to our space. He pointed out a couple of things and then excused himself. The interior was clean and ready for us. The outside shower was amazing. There are plenty of beaches close by. We went to the Funky Donkey at St Peter's beach down the road. For food, we went into Batsi which was only a few minutes away by car.

Athina and his father were so kind in facilitating our stay from beginning to end. It's perfectly located within the city.

The house is very big, comfortable and perfect for hosting. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and dining room offer absolute comfort, with a layout that perfectly serves a large group. Inside the farm there are orange and mandarin trees, and the hosts suggested we try – really enjoyable! The storage room was excellent – full of towels, blankets and anything else we needed. The house was fully equipped, with extra thoughtful and eclectic items, which showed the care and aesthetics of the hosts. Dimitris and Phaidon were great hosts – always available, welcoming and helpful. The location is very good for excursions to Chora, the beaches and all the beautiful parts of the island. The only restriction was the road to the house: narrow and a bit marginal in places, not completely safe, but with a little attention you arrive without a problem. It would have been great to have a BBQ to complete the experience as well.

If you love nature and tranquility, go for it. The house is isolated, 20 minutes from Gavrio and a 5-minute walk to a very uncrowded beach. The outdoor shower is a nice plus. This little piece of heaven is well guarded: a very cute cat (black)!
