Places to stay in Amble

We had a wonderful few day's stay in John's beautiful cottage. John is very engaging and even phoned while we were on our way to Holy Island to make sure we had received the key code and to see if we had any questions. On arrival everything was in order and Johns instructions on how to find his cottage were perfect. The cottage is incredibly well situated in the village with stunning views of the castle from the kitchen, garden and both bedrooms. We could have just spent our whole time on Hoy Island sat on the patio in the sunshine taking in the incredible view! The cottage is very up to date and the kitchen is well-equipped if you are more inclined to self cater. Everything in the village is only a few minutes walk away. There is a pub virtually next door and another pub two minutes away, also several cafes. There is also a gin shop right next door! There is room to park one car right outside and an EV charging point if you need one. All in all this is a fantastic property.

A wonderful house in a perfect location! The house has all the amenities you need and plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. It’s a short stroll to the beach and the town and easy to park outside. We look forward to returning again in the future!

The Whislestop is a fantastic place to get away from it all. Peaceful, scenic and the property had great character. Terri made sure to provide all the relevant information and instructions on finding the property, things to do in the local area and ensured everything was clean and neat for our arrival. The personal touch of having the fire going for when we arrived was thoughtful and very much appreciated!

We had a great stay in Belford, clean and tidy accommodation. Had everything we wanted. Location was spot on for places we wanted to visit. Thank you.

What a joy to stay over Christmas! The Christmas market and carols opposite the apartment in the pub garden topped it off a treat! Will definitely be back 🙏🏻

Absolutely perfect place to stay! My first time away on my own with 2 children, Joanne and family could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Met on site immediately, given milk and a very walm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely beautiful lodge, amazing location and everyone needed for a great stay. This is a very private annex tucked away round the back of a large manor house, with huge grounds and horses grazing in the fields. Early morning walks in the crisp February sunshine around the grounds were peaceful and picture perfect. The beds were comfortable and the linen was spotless. The rounds were warm and cosy. We'd love to come back for a return visit sometime.

A beautifully presented property in stunning Northumberland. The property is close to the heart of Seahouses but set away in private peaceful street only a few mins walk from the centre of town. The property is incredibly clean and much much bigger than the pictures can possibly show. Each room on its own floor feels private and perfect for large family or group wanting to get together but also have some privacy. The Northumberland coastline is one of the most beautiful parts of the UK and this property is right in the heart of it.

Little Waves is a fantastic place to stay, all the little extras were much appreciated, Karen goes out of her way to look after her guests. Great location to bars and restaurants and the beach too, first time in Northumberland and we loved it
